The problem is the air conditioning. The air conditioning didn’t work. They had some portable units but the one kept breaking. It was very hot in the unit without air. The place is nice. The location is great but the AC needs fixed.

Great Stay

This place had everything we needed and was surprisingly not too busy and pretty quiet. The beach is walking distance which is great because parking outside of the resort area is difficult to find. The AC worked great, there was Tupperware and beach chairs we were able to use and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Wonderful place

Clean, comfortable bed, air bed was appreciated too! Updated kitchen, very beautiful unit. The view of the pool was nice, quiet and comfortable environment. We definitely would come here again. Saw lots of whales this time of year.

Maui stay

The overall was great. You could see water damage in kitchen and the blinds going out to balcony were not on correctly. Also had issues with the TV, not sure if batteries were too old but could not get remote control to work with the TV and cable

The property was great, the room was fantastic. As described, except there are no DVDs anymore… I was looking forward to watching Love Actually, lol.

Love this resort

This is our second time at Napili Shores and it certainly won’t be the last. It is very family friendly, with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Great restaurants on site. It’s also a very short walk to a lovely beach and an exceptional snorkel spot.

Fantastic condo at the best price we could find

Excellent base for your trip. Best features: AC - we can't sleep if it's too hot and it's nice to have a less humid retreat once or twice during the day. There are two AC units in this condo and both work very well. You can actually make this place too cold. Comfortable bed - The bed is quite comfortable and has a selection of 4 pillows. I usually travel with my pillow because I'm a terrible sleeper but I forgot it and still managed to get a decent sleep with theirs. Our son slept well on the pull out sofa with one of the four supplied pillows. Other than that there are some bonuses to this unit and location: Napili bay is right down the path and is a fantastic beach with great snorkeling or surfing/boogie boarding depending on conditions. Kapalua bay is about a 7-8 minute walk down the beach and through Napili Kai resort. Kapalua is a fantastic snorkeling bay even if Napili is a bit wavy. We even went diving here when the surf on most of the west side was too wavy for entry. Honolua bay - one of the best snorkeling bay's on Maui is a short drive North. There's only a handful of properties closer. The Gazebo breakfast restaurant on site is one of the best breakfasts you can get on Maui and it's right there! You can see the lineup from the balcony which will tell you when to get your butt moving. Downside: It's a bit of a drive to the airport area or Ma'alea harbor/Kihei. If most of your activities are booked there I might look for a closer property. Overall A+

Love Napili Shores!!

The room was clean and had everything we needed for the week. The complex is like a little community and everyone is so nice! Was nice to have a/c and a fan in the main room and in the bedroom. It also helped block out the noises as the walls are thin and without background noise you can hear mumbling of neighbors. Checkin and check out was super easy! Would highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic place and room was great. Nicely updated with lots of hooks to hang your things. Also enjoyed being close to bbq and hot tub. Only draw back was people being able look into our place from a certain part of the pool. But not a deal breaker for us! Thanks Leanne for letting us stay in your home away from home. We love Maui❤️

Napili Shores E-243!

My family stayed here in April 2023. It was our second time to Napili Shores - you cannot beat this location! Napili Shores is a great place to stay, right next to Napili Bay and if you're into snorkeling like we are, Honokeana Bay is a short walk to see the reef & turtles. The unit itself was clean and as expected. I will point out that the location of the unit overlooks the pool/spa. This wasn't a problem for us as things quieted down in the evening, but otherwise you can expect to hear some noise from the pool - again, for us this was not bothersome at all and made evening trips to the hot tub very convenient! My only suggestion is that the unit change from a keycard access to a keypad combination access like some of the other units we've stayed at. This is much more convenient when going to the beach/snorkeling/etc and having to worry about bringing the key around.

Pleasant Stay at Napili Shores

We enjoyed our stay here & had a mostly positive experience with one small hiccup. Upon booking, we received the needed info about check in via email. Our flight was delayed so we arrived well past the 7:00pm front desk closing. We followed the procedure for after hours check in & were able to get in our room. We were told we would need to stop at the front desk to obtain new cards by 11:00am. The next am after breakfast, we tried to get back in our room & the key card didn't work. We stopped at the front desk & found that it didn't open until 9:00am. We tried to call security to see if they could let us in our room & were told they couldn't & we'd have to wait until the front desk opened. We had to wait for almost an hour until they opened since all of our belongings were in our locked room. We were later told that the key cards are very sensitive to magnetic things so to keep them away from our cell phones, key fobs, etc. After this one hiccup of our stay, things went smoothly & we really enjoyed the stay. The condo was clean & comfortable for our family of 4. The pull out bed in the living area was not super comfortable but it was ok for the time we were there. It was super awesome waking up to the sound of chirping birds every morning! We felt like we were in a tree house! There was a separate AC unit in the bedroom that didn't have a functional control to even turn it on so it was warm. We enjoyed the pools & close access to Napili beach! We'd stay again!
