Kom in, ta ett djupt andetag och dra upp en plats pÄ dÀck over-looking MEST lugn sjö i vÀstra North Carolina (min Äsikt) och smutta pÄ din favoritdryck.

OBS: Om du Google Earth adressen till huset, kommer det att visa sjön som 2/3 tom. 2 Är sedan hade vi en spricka i dammen och var tvungen att tömma sjön för att reparera den. Det rÄkade bara vara den tid Google tog bilden !!! Jag lovar, det finns gott om vatten i sjön!

The location was just right for us. There were some items brought to the owner's attention that she said would be rectified going forward. The owner was responsive and amenable to compensation for the items and our hope is that she follows through with that.

Waterfall hikes with family

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lake home. It was very quiet area located in between Brevard and Hendersonville.

Perfect!

We had an amazing stay at this property. It was so relaxing, yet the lake offered our teen boys things to do
fishing, kayaking, swimming. It was hard to leave! You won’t be disappointed staying here-book the trip!!!

Just as described- great stay!

Everything was as described with excellent communication from the owner. While the lake didn't seem to be well-stocked for fishing, we still had a fantastic time swimming and kayaking, and we managed to catch a couple of fish. There are plenty of nearby activities to keep teenagers entertained. Highly recommend!

Wonderful getaway!

This is the cutest little cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very close to Hendersonville and lots of hiking/outdoor options. The kayaks, fire pit, and porch were lovely amenities. The cottage is well appointed and decorated beautifully! Thank you for a fabulous stay!

Truly tranquil

Pictures do not do this property justice...lovely furnishings and tasteful decor. Well supplied. You can literally just bring your toothbrush and change of clothes! Very comfortable beds and bedding. Peaceful setting. Enjoyed sitting on deck as well as the dock. Host was very pleasant and responsive. We will be back!

Beautiful Location

Great location for some seclusion and relaxation over the holidays. Wish the weather had been better and allowed more sitting on the deck to take in the scenery. The host was very accessible and helpful. Great communication. Will return.

Lovely house and property

Nice house, quite clean, very comfortable. The grill and washer and dryer are convenient. The kids love swimming in the lake and we love that there are kayaks, floaters, and life vests to borrow. Not far from a grocery store, Hendersonville is close and about 35 mins to downtown Asheville. Also 20 mins from waterfalls! We love it and will be back next summer.

Thanksgiving Visit

Husband and I and 20yo son stayed over Thanksgiving weekend to visit my parents in Cummings Cove. Super convenient. Nice to have 3B/3B. Overall loved it. Listing says hot tub, but there wasn’t one. The 3 bedrooms are each on different levels. No issue for us, but worth noting for families w younger kids. We will say here again though. Had a great experience! Definitely recommend.

Mountain getaway

Pros: This property was exactly what we were looking for with a few MAJOR exceptions. Overall the property had everything we needed for a nice family getaway. All the bedroom sizes were good and some of the bathrooms were updated very nicely. The living space was large enough for our group to relax comfortably. The deck had a wonderful view, and the swing chair was a hit and loved by all that sat in it (my parents are looking for one of these for their house!). My daughter enjoyed the lake and kayak that was included. We all enjoyed making s’mores in the fire pit. Cons: The cleanliness of the property was lacking. I wiped down the place myself and the wipes were quite dirty. There was dirt on the floors/ carpet and the upstairs bathroom had a Band-Aid stuck on the rug. On our first night, we learned that the microwave did not work while prepping dinner. We reached out to Karen but was unable to get this fixed during our stay. We were told the microwave was ordered and was to arrive during our stay, but this did not happen. The coffee maker did not consistently make coffee. It would stop half way and would not drain. It did not help that the cord to the coffee maker would not stay plugged in the outlet. Our major frustration was the bug infestation in the upper stairs bedroom, bathroom, and closet. There were small beetles crawling all over the floors, walls, and bed. We woke several times with these beetles on us during our first night. The next morning, I reached out to Karen and was told that an exterminator would be coming out, but was later informed that this would not occur until after our stay was completed. Due to the bug infestation, we were out a bedroom and bathroom for our stay. She also informed us that she would reach out to the cleaning lady. We did not hear from them either. We found from trial and error that many of the electrical outlets didn’t work. More than one person found their phone not charging. FYI: stairs are narrow and steep and may be difficult for people with limited mobility so keep that in mind. The walk down to the lake is also steep.

This is a beautiful lakefront house. The view is awesome! Three floors and each with a bathroom made it possible for our three families to spread out. The kitchen has everything that you need. Plenty of staples provided. The beds are very comfortable and plenty of towels etc. Not far from Hendersonville and Brevard. Any questions you have, Karen is quick to respond.

This lovely chalet fit our needs perfectly. We were visiting relatives that live in nearby Cummings cove and wanted a place that would be convenient. The location is very peaceful yet only a few minute drive to groceries and some really good restaurants. We spent nearly every evening sipping cocktails on the deck watching the wildlife. 1/2 hr drive gets you to pretty much all the major attractions including stunning waterfalls and mountain vistas. Home is super comfortable with excellent beds. Really can’t express enough how happy we were with this home. Owner responded quickly too. We will be back !

Wonderful home

My wife and I decided to take our young children to the mountains for an impromptu vacation. We were pleasantly surprised by the home and the beautiful lake upon arrival. This home is extremely well stocked and was very clean. It is in a great location to all of the conveniences you may need but also feels somewhat secluded for that peace of mind. As for the host
Karen is one of the nicest and helpful hosts you could possibly ask for. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking.

Lake House

Cute lake house with a great view! Lots of amenities that made the stay even more enjoyable. Location is quiet and close to Brevard and Hendersonville. Would love to stay here again!

Great spot!

Our kids loved paddling on the kayaks and we loved hanging out on the dock and deck. Close to lots of great trails and a peaceful, beautiful location. Fantastic all around.

Tranquil Comfort

Karen is SUPER responsive and kind! The house is spacious with three full beds and three baths, but it could sleep another three on comfy sofas if needed. The kitchen and baths had all one could want, and the view of the lake is magnificent. Because the property is a private lakefront, daily walks were lovely. Convenient to Asheville and Sierra Nevada.

THIS HOUSE IS SITUATED ON A SMALL SWIMMING/FISHING LAKE. THE BEAUTY OF IT IS THE VIEW! YOU CAN ALSO SEE ALMOST ALL THE WAY AROUND THE LAKE BECAUSE MY HOUSE SITS UP HIGH, IF YOU NEED TO KEEP AN EYE ON THE CHILDREN. THERE IS A ROAD THAT GOES AROUND THE LAKE FOR WALKING AND IT IS JUST SUCH A HAPPY PLACE AND I HAVE THE BEST NEIGHBORS!!!!
