Just what we needed

Just what we needed a perfect homebase for our concert filled weekend. An easy 10-15 walk back-and-forth from Commonwealth Stadium. Nice view from the balcony which we ate on a couple of times. Overall, the great experience. Thanks 😊

Perfect Fit!

My daughter and I were in town for a championship swim meet. This unit met our needs perfectly and was a very easy drive to the Kinsman Sports Center. The unit was very clean and nicely furnished. We enjoyed the big TV in the living area and the sofa/loveseat. The bedding and towels, along with kitchen equipment, were very good quality and very amply supplied. We found the complex quiet and felt secure. The owners were very responsive to questions we had during our stay. We recommend them, and their unit, to you with confidence.

Early departure from rental

Property advertised "Nice and Quiet" with enticing balcony picture. Single mom and young child book extended stay. Property located very close to city police department. Continual sounds of police sirens and unsettling street fighting led us to keep doorwall closed, put in ear plugs while inside and eventually depart the property 25 days early.

Comfort with a view!

We had a great stay at this property during our trip to Edmonton to visit family. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was very responsive. I left the keys on the counter and locked the door from the inside during checkout as instructed , and when I got down to the basement level to access the garage, I only then realized I needed them to access my car in the parking garage. This was my own oversight as it was not my first time accessing the garage....but I blame the fact that it was early in the morning of a long weekend. The owners arrived in a little over an hour of me reaching out, though it was before 9:00 am on a Monday of a long weekend, to help me retrieve my keys, which was incredibly kind and appreciated. The location was easy to access, has a beautiful view, and having parking was a huge plus. We highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Edmonton!

Beautiful view! Great stay

We enjoyed our stay here. The condo is beautifully appointed, very clean and very comfortable. Steve was very accommodating with a couple of changes we needed and was friendly and helpful. There is a great pizza place - Panini’s - within walking distance. The WiFi is very slow, but that is the only thing we found as a negative. The view is beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay.

Old building not impressed with suite. We did not stay. Told Steve we wre leaving . He was

We had to track down Steve to get an e mail with the address which we did not get till noon the day before we were due to arrive. We had to google him to get the email. When we arrived we texted him to let him know he texted "thanks" and we were left standing in the parking lot for almost an hour waiting for him. I texted when are you coming and he finally told us to go to the front of the building and then finally he phoned with instructions to enter the building. We were unimpressed why did he not phone an hour earlier. The suite is old in an old building with a parking spot so tiny we could not get our luggage out. That was the final straw. We put the key back in the lockbox and texted Steve that we were not staying. We have used vrbo many times and this is the first time we were disappointed.

The apartment was lovely and clean and I was very happy with my stay and the property

The apartment was well equipped and everything went smoothly getting in and leaving. Parking was secure and I felt safe. The building was quiet and the neighbours very nice. Evening view of the downtown core was lovely. Property owners were very quick to respond to any inquiries I had. I would recommend the property to anyone needing a longer term rental like I did as a home away from home.

Perfect for business use

We've rented 2 of Steve's condos for business use. Both stays were months long, and the guys staying there were very satisfied. Steve is quick to reply and is awesome to deal with and his prices are great, much cheaper than hotels. Both rentals have been clean and cozy and perfect for what we needed. Close to downtown and all amenities. I'd highly recommend staying at one of Steve's condos.

Visiting grand kids was excellent!!

We recently spent 9 days in Edmonton visiting grandchildren. We had stayed at Steve's place before and wanted to stay again because it was great last fall. When Steve heard we would have small kids hanging around there, he very kindly suggested another rental property he owned, also in the city center. We took him up on the offer and were glad we did. The apartment was bigger, had a beautiful west facing, large balcony with BBQ, an indoor pool, and all for the same price. It was excellent. There was enough room in the apartment for us all to visit, and the long hallway leading to the elevator was lots of fun for little ones learning to walk. All the neighbours we met in our ups and downs on the elevator were super friendly and really nice which was a bonus. The apartment had everything we needed, and Steve provided a playpen and child seat (which was a hit and doubled as a learning toy). Steve was very accommodating and looked after us very well. We accidently left a cell phone behind and he promptly put it in the mail to us the next day, awesome. Thanks Steve for your hospitality, hopefully we can stay at one of your places again soon.

Worked Out Perfectly

We spent 9 days in Edmonton visiting kids and grandchildren. We knew we wanted a place where we could stay that was separate from our kids place and where we could have the grandchildren visit. This apartment couldn't have worked out better. Location was great, near to downtown, Rogers Place and the Commonwealth Stadium and Community Pool. The place was clean and tidy and had everything we needed to make meals, enjoy happy hour (the balcony seating was perfect for that) and watch the sunset. The entertainment set up was super, TV, DVD, sound system. If you're looking for a place to stay that is close to downtown, Rogers Place, Stadium and that is cozy and well set up for living comfortably, then you can't go wrong with this property. The owner was great. He was there if we needed anything but stayed out of our hair and let us feel as though the place was ours. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this property.

Great location - walk to downtown events and restaurants!

Great little apartment. My husband and I were very comfortable here and loved having a full-service, clean unit to stay in. Kitchen is very well stocked and owners left us little treats to make us feel welcome. Comfy beds and furniture. Views of downtown are fantastic.

Great Location

We had a great vacation in Edmonton. Steve was easy to deal with and came to show us where to park (underground was a bonus) and pointed out some things to us in the rental. Check in and out was smooth and easy. The property is exactly as pictured in the photos and was clean when we arrived. The views were spectacular both during the day and at night. We had access to a car, otherwise might have found the walk to town a bit long. I would recommend this rental.

Overall nice property, cozy & comfortable

This property is in a great location, owner was good to deal with and everything we needed was there. Underground parking was definitely a plus. Some unwelcome guest in between lobby doors when we were trying to leave, however completely out of owners control. I would use this property again!

Had a wonderful stay!

We have family in Edmonton but prefer to have our own space. This apartment was perfect for us. It was well equipped with everything we needed. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures and the view is even better. Although we never met Steve, he was very responsive to any concerns or questions we had. The only drawback for us was getting our suitcases, coolers etc... up to the main floor elevator from the car. There is no direct access from the underground parking to the elevator. Both this location and the front entrance involve using a flight of stairs. Not a huge issue for us, but it might be for more elderly people. Overall our stay was very pleasant and we would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

This was our first VRBO, and I look forward to my next one. Steve was very easy to deal with, and promptly answered all our questions. The apartment worked well for us. Had breath taking views with awesome sunsets. The only downfall was nothing that Steve had any control over, and that was the stench coming from the basement. We only experienced it 2 days, but it was pretty vile. Would definitely consider booking there again.

Super nice view and accommodations!!!

i had a great time in Edmonton and a lot of it had to do with being able to experience it at the heart of downtown. It was so close to Whyte Ave, and I was able to enjoy a gorgeous jog each morning by the river. The owner was very friendly and the checkin/checkout was smooth. The place was furnished and had everything I needed. This was a much better overall experience than if I stayed at a hotel. I've stayed at a few upscale ones downtown Edmonton before and it was 10 times more stressful than just renting this condo. I would highly recommend it.

Edmonton City Views- Gorgeous Sunsets and Sunrises

From the first inquiry Steve was wonderful to work with via email, text and in person. We enjoyed our month in his apartment, it was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the great grill on the balcony and made the majority of our meals outside enjoying the sunset.

Perfect location for going to the Commonw Stadium.

We like to walk and were able to walk downtown from this location. The Stadium was a 10 min walk. We took pleasure using the balcony while we enjoyed wine and deli foods from the Italian Grocery in little Italy. Only a 10-15 min walk away. They have the biggest deli we have ever seen. The building was quiet. The owner was kind enough to mail us our charger we left behind.

Really nice place and some beautiful view

We like to travel a bit ourselves and like to stay in suites where we are self sufficient but have the option of feeling like we are in a hotel. Like to go grocery shopping, pick up what we like and have the option of going to the fridge to get what we want and not have to go out or order in. Thought that would be a great idea for others coming to stay in this great city. Born and raised here. There is always something to do in edmonton, from the year round festivals to regular sites to go and see and shopping rivalling the most major destinations in north america. If that interests you check out some of these sites.

Location and again because it is a one bedroom suite, fully equipped, so close to everything and secure, heated underground parking. Two elevators, no waiting.
