Perfect place

We had an amazing time visiting Norfolk. This place was very clean and has all the essentials needed if you want to do any cooking. There were plenty of stores/restaurants close by. Highly recommend this place! Would book again if ever in the area.

Historic Coastal Haven

We really enjoyed the accommodations. Roomy and comfortable for our large family. The location is perfect for navigating the area. The home has essentials and there is a 7/11 convenience store within walking distance for anything you might need in a pinch.

Nice neighborhood. Very walkable to so many things. At no fault to the host, lots of fireworks on July 5th going well into the wee hours of the morning.

Cute little house

We arrived later than expected and getting into the house was easy! The house is small, but cute! The kitchen has been redone and is very nice, with everything you could possibly need including a cute coffee area. Everything was very clean and organized! The bathrooms

This was such a great rental spot. I’m so glad that we found it. The check-in process was so easy and I love the owners messaging and information. Of all the homes I’ve rented this was the most well stocked home - down to laundry and bath supplies to beach chairs and towels. I really appreciated the coffee and creamer, especially! We truly could’ve enjoyed more time, but will be back! The neighborhood felt very safe and I even loved just sitting out front and admiring the magnanimous trees on the street.
Short walk to the beach, and enjoyed a brief storm and double rainbows. Happy Pride!

Norfolk Graduation

This was a great place to stay based on our needs! We were able to gather as a family. Enjoy our sailor and his family. Because our guest was welcoming to dogs, my son was able to bring his dog while we gathered as a family. The living area was perfect for our group. We had the best time as was able to celebrate as a family in a comfortable environment. We had everything we needed to cook, coffee was available and space was perfect and we all enjoyed this place. Thank you!

Host was on point when we called house was good a few things need repaired nothing major house was treated for insects but application didnt have full chance to work fleas still in lower bed room just thought fir the price the house would be more top notch front door hinge off

Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us. We always want our guests to feel comfortable, so when the front door hinge issue was reported, we had a contractor out that same weekend and the repair was completed right away. Regarding pests, we take prevention and treatment very seriously. The home is on a regular professional service schedule, and it was treated just before your stay. While we can’t always control what pets or items might be brought in, we do act quickly if any concerns are raised. We truly appreciate your comments and are always making improvements so each stay feels better than the last.

Beach escape

The house was wonderful. The host took so many extra steps from coffee and all kinds of extras for the kitchen; there is a crock pot and mixer. There were spices and seasonings provided for all our needs for cooking. They provided beach chairs and towels and sandcastle making toys for kids. There was laundry detergent provided in the laundry room. This made it so convenient to take home clean clothes. We cannot say enough about neat the extras were. These hosts really thought of everything. You just need to bring your clothes and any food.

Happy Easter!!

We visited from Florida for a long Easter Weekend with our son and his family, and pup. The house is so stocked all the way from paper towels, trash bags to spices and comfy blankets for lounging on the couch. The house was clean, smelled wonderful and was roomy enough both inside and out for an extended family dinner. The neighbors were great and accommodating for an extra car or two during our family dinner. The outside back yard area was perfect for Ziggy (a corgi) and the outdoor garage area converted into such a nice sitting spot to visit while we grilled. Oh and the grill worked great! 7-11 within walking distance and grocery store hardly a stone's throw away. Thank you for an amazing stay. You're on our list to visit again!!! The home was perfect for our group. We were in town for an event at Naval Station Norfolk located only a few minutes away. The home was very clean. Everything on the inside of the house was comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. The backyard lounge area had some older chairs that needed some TLC, but it really didn’t matter for us. The listing does say that there’s a hot tub on site, there unfortunately is not. It was not a factor for us in renting the property though. Getting in and out of the house was super easy using our code. If you decide to park in the driveway, it is very very tight. So if you’re bringing multiple cars, definitely plan on street parking. Overall, the house was perfect for what we needed and reasonably priced. I would stay there again.
