We loved the property and the amenities that the neighborhood has to offer They really thought of everything to make it easy a the family with kids and dogs! Definitely left saying we need to come back soon

Very nice place with excellent amenities in the house and in the community. The house was very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked for cooking and grilling. The only thing I would advise to future renters is that, if you have a sedan, do not pull all the way down to the bottom of the driveway. There is a steep decline at the end that only SUVs and trucks can traverse without scratching the bottom of your car. But parking in the main stretch of the driveway was perfect as you’re then just steps from the front door.

Everything was as advertised and the location was great for downtown items but also for parks and enjoying the mountains with many nature trails including waterfalls!

Beautiful property! Watching the deer on the back porch in the morning while lounging on the swing and sipping coffee was definitely a highlight. The area is quiet and feels incredibly safe. The hot tub was also the perfect end to each day. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience and exactly as advertised. Huge area for the dogs to get some exercise. Definitely a place that is worth booking again if we are ever back in the area. A place that feels like home from the first minute you walk in the door.

The cabin had everything we wanted and more. The atmosphere, the cabin, the wildlife, the beautiful surroundings, just made everything so relaxing. We brought our own food and didn't even have to leave because the cabin truly was stocked with everything you could imagine needing. Even had stuff for my dog and many games to play. My husband loved the hot tub while I laid on the bed swing and read. It was perfect, we cannot wait to come back!!!

Great cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay. The layout was great, loved the hot tub and the location was just a short drive to Ellijay/Blue Ridge.

Awesome location, home is very clean and equipped with everything you need: extra towels, toilet paper and paper towels. The hot tub is the perfect way to unwind and you are guaranteed to have deer encounters with the creek in the back of the home.

Beautiful cabin located in a very nice resort community with lots to do include with rental. The hosts, Christine and Nick, were very professional and eager to make sure our stay was meeting all our needs. Would highly recommend this place

Excellent hosts. The cabin is beautiful and has everything you need. We saw so many deer just hanging in the yard, was wonderful. There were so many nice details like soft blankets, plush towels, and great shampoo and conditioner. My family and I rent a house every year in different towns. We agree that we want to return to this one for the first time. We played corn hole, darts, and hung out on the porch.The driveway is steep but manageable.

5 people with dogs having a nice relaxing holiday!

We loved this! We had our 19, and 22 year old home from college and two dogs in tow. It was so great! The house super clean. Secluded but not too far out of the way! We lived the visiting deer in the yard and nearby rec center.

Perfect getaway

My husband, our infant and 2 dogs stayed here for a few days to enjoy the wineries nearby. We hit 5 wineries all 30 min or less away! The house was the perfect place. We loved the hot tub and the fenced in yard for our dogs. The amenities like pool m, etc are a ways away (~15 min) so we didn’t get to enjoy those, but nice to have. Would love to return! Easy check in and out.

Relaxing Getaway in the Heart of Nature

Dates of Stay: March 2024 My family and I had a wonderful stay at this charming VRBO property nestled in a serene wooded area. Here's why we loved our experience: Location (5/5): The location couldn't have been better. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet conveniently close to local attractions and hiking trails. We enjoyed the tranquility and beautiful views of the surrounding nature. Accommodation (5/5): The cabin was immaculate and well-maintained. It had a cozy, inviting atmosphere with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. Host (5/5): The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive. They provided detailed instructions for check-in and promptly addressed any questions we had during our stay. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. Activities (4/5): There were plenty of activities to keep us entertained, from hiking and birdwatching to simply relaxing on the porch and enjoying the fresh air. The nearby town also offered charming shops and restaurants. Overall Experience: This VRBO property exceeded our expectations in every way. It was the perfect retreat for our family to unwind and reconnect with nature. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning in the future!

We had a great stay here in Ellijay. The house was super clean and had everything we needed for cooking. Host replied promptly to our questions. Nice layout for a family. Dogs had fun watching the deer in the back yard. We even had a visit from a little black bear! 10 out of 10 experience!

From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home.I loved cooking in the incredibly well-stocked kitchen, relaxing on the back deck, and grilling for my family while we made unforgettable memories playing games, laughing, and simply enjoying each other's company.If you're looking for a peaceful getaway to unwind and reconnect, I highly recommend booking a stay at Lucky Bear Cabin. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. I reached out asking for the best place nearby to take my Labrador for a cool dip in the river, and they responded quickly with great recommendations. They were genuinely excited that we were staying there and treated us more like friends than guests.While you're visiting, be sure to take the 25-minute drive into Ellijay to visit the Olive Oil Company—you won't be disappointed! And if you're in the mood for a refreshing local beer, stop by Cartecay River Brewing Company. I tried the Ellijay Ultra, and it was fantastic!If you're looking for the perfect mountain escape, don't look any further. Have your groceries delivered, explore the local hiking trails, unplug from the daily routine, and most importantly, spend quality time making memories with the people you love.We only get 18 summers with our babies, and I am so thankful for the memories we made together this past week. We can't wait to plan our next stay in the Mountains of Ellijay GA
