Pull up to the Snarky Shark and conveniently park up to four vehicles in the driveway. The perfect place for your party to relax with plenty of space for everyone. The fenced in backyard provides children with a place to play while parents keep an eye on them from the shaded downstairs patio. Enjoy cooking on the charcoal grill while visiting with friends and family after a day at the beach.

Inside, this home away from home features central air conditioning upstairs, split AC downstairs, and ceiling fans throughout – perfect to help cool down from the Texas heat. Sink down into the plush sofa or loveseat in the living room and gather together for movie night. Whip up breakfast or dinner with ease in the fully equipped kitchen that is stocked with a variety of cookware and utensils. Grab a stool at the counter or dining room table, or head outside to the deck and enjoy great conversation with family and friends.

Enjoy a good night’s sleep in one of the two upstairs bedrooms or downstairs living area. The spacious primary bedroom has a plush king-size bed, while the secondary bedroom has a super comfortable queen size bed. The downstairs living area features a full-size bed and a convertible twin chair, perfect for teens or young adults.

Weather event cancellations - eligible for refunds when weather or conditions result in a mandatory evacuation order or large-scale outage of essential utilities. Note June through November is considered high storm and hurricane potential season. Travel insurance is recommended - although ensure you are aware of covered conditions.

OCCUPANCY - For a comfortable stay and per the home rules, maximum of 6 guests. An additional charge of $25 per night is charged for guests (including children) exceeding 5. An additional fee of $50 per guest will be charged if the number of over-night guests exceeds the number on the reservation and/or eviction without a refund. Exceeding property max will result in eviction without a refund. Maximum combined guests and visitors during the day (to 9 pm) is 8 including children.

PARKING - Although the driveway can accommodate four vehicles, carpooling is recommended. The garage is not available to guests. No parking on the street or grass.

NOTE that the downstairs living space, including the 1/2 bath, is NOT connected to the upstairs so is not suitable for unattended young children to stay. Entrance to the downstairs living space is within the yard next to the patio area.

Guests must be at least 25 years old to book, able to provide government issued photo ID, and have completed the verification process on Airbnb/VRBO OR have at least one five-star guest review. NO third-party bookings permitted. The primary guest that books must be at the home for all the nights.

PETS - fully house-trained adult dogs are allowed to a max of two and max 60 lbs each. $60 per dog per stay. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after (doggie bags provided) and are in a kennel if left alone inside the home. Only dogs are allowed - no other types of pets.

An additional fee of $100 per pet in addition to the standard pet fee will be charged and/or eviction without a refund for undisclosed pets.

Service Dogs - Texas House Bill 4164 penalties for falsely representing an animal as a service animal is a misdemeanor punishable by up to a $1000 fine and 30 hours of community service.

Beach toys, corn hole, boogie boards, chairs and a cooler are provided. And as an extra convenience, beach towels are also provided - please just ensure to wash them after use and return them to where they are stored to avoid additional cleaning (laundry) charges.

ADDITIONAL FEES

A fee of $200 will be charged for smoking inside the house (upstairs or downstairs). Smoking is permitted outside - please properly dispose of cigarette butts.

Located within six blocks away, the City of Jamaica Beach Regatta Basin, aka the "Marina", features a single, stabilized, paved boat ramp that provides access to the canals, which lead to West Bay, a parking area, and seating area (no restrooms). Guest permit is required.
