This property is a gem. It is immaculate, comfortable and well appointed. Everything we wanted or needed was there. The location was awesome, right on the river. The view from the fire pit or the deck of the house is serene. Best of all, our hosts were the nicest people. They live next door so if we needed anything they could help. They communicated so well from booking to checkout. They left fresh flowers in the house for us and the best fresh baked cupcakes I've ever had. All of those kind gestures and a beautiful property make this an A rental. We will be back again.

Welcoming and responsive hosts! Quiet location on the river. About 20 minutes from restaurants and some shopping, 45 minutes to the aquarium. We had a great time.

This was my second stay at this location and I would not hesitate to book again! Although it is remote, it is a breath of fresh air, and close enough to anything you could need.

Easter stay

We stayed here over Easter. It’s a great location, close to Havelock. Was able to cook a full Easter meal in the kitchen. Very relaxing and I’m sure we’ll be back next time we are in the area. Great view from deck!

Peaceful

Pleasant stay. House was very nice and well equipped. We were welcomed with fresh flowers and wonderful banana bread! Basement was perfect for the teens boys. Property and view were beautiful!

Wonderful!

My family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. Glenn and Marianne are wonderful hosts and answered all our questions and concerns promptly. The home is perfect and just a short drive to the Atlantic Ocean and nearby beaches. Very relaxing and quiet location. I would definitely recommend this property!

The house was very nice and all accommodations were on point. The only thing was that the weather did not cooperate and it rained during the time we were there.

Hi Freda, Sorry you feel that way but we have so much more than many other rentals and are overly equipped. You were not a renter with your continued needs and complaints that we would ever want back again. we graciously addressed all of your complains, wants and needs, that were unfounded. You are so lucky the owners are close by. I hope in the future you have more consideration for the property and owners. Also you left the home a mess and had no consideration for the ammentaties.

Quiet and Peaceful

The property was about 20 minutes outside of Havelock in a fairly secluded area next to the water with a small private beach. It's more of a weekend bridal retreat but it worked well for us since it had 3 bedrooms and bathrooms. The picture in the ad is of the owner's house and not the front of the property being rented. The inside pictures of the rental are accurate.

Awesome!!!!

Thank you very much, for our awesome stay in your comfy condo! We had a great time. The condo on the second floor is huge and have everything you need. It was clean and very quiet, perfect for our relaxing trip! We could not have been happier with our stay at Neuse Breeze. The view was just wonderful and many options in the garden and the small beach. We enjoyed on several days and the water is so shallow you can walk pretty far out into it and enjoy the water. A lot of the property is shaded, but there are several nice places to get some sun too so it's good for whatever you're looking for. Only a few minutes away, there is a very nice golf club and we enjoyed the ferry drive to this nice place. Also, it was very easy to work with Marianne and Glen. Again, thank you very much and take care!

The house was so gorgeous and clean, it was decorated beautifully and loved the space. We booked it for a girls trip and everyone had their own bathroom which was super convenient. The property and amenities were awesome, we loved being on the water. My only note is that the kitchen is mostly equipped for cooking but you may want to think about bringing your own pots/pans/utensils if or when you book. We made do with what we had though!

Beautiful rental property!

Rented in order to visit son (USMC) and his family. Rental located 15 minutes from son's home, so he and kids were able to commute easily each day. Kids enjoyed playing in water/beach area and the private beach was wonderful-no dealing with crowds. Owner resides next door to rental and was always available if we needed anything but gave us our space and was very accomodating and personable. The grounds and home were immaculate. We all agreed, it was the most beautiful property we had ever stayed in and definitely will visit again. It was so relaxing, we never left the grounds and spent entire week there. Would highly recommend this home for a relaxing getaway.

Older Couples get away

Set of 3 couples. Sleeping and bathroom for each couple. Very private. We cooked local catches and exored the area towns for 5 days. Only one day at the beach as it rained. Beautiful property. Nice host. A little far from everything. But quiet and relaxing.

Secluded Getaway

It was a nice house. We didn’t realize how far away from beach it was but if you’re looking for a getaway from civilization it’s great.. my friends stayed at the beach so we had to travel each day about 45 mins. (My fault, not homeowners) well kept property house was clean and pretty. Owners contact was good, answered any questions in reasonable time. They live in house next door so they were right there working in yard some days. Beach is cute. We didn’t swim but looked inviting. Had a nice time. I’m sure they host some beautiful weddings here.

Peaceful Paradise

This was a mom/daughters weekend. When we got to the house we could not believe the views! Breathtaking! It is so quiet and relaxing! The house has everything you need and more! The beds were super comfortable also! We had everything we needed and then some! We will definitely be booking again!!!

Beautiful and relaxing location right on the river!

We were a family of 6 adults staying at Neuse Breeze for the week of Thanksgiving. The house is immaculately clean and the open layout is perfect for spending time with family. The furniture is very comfortable, including the beds. The outdoor amenities looked very inviting, but it was quite chilly the week we were there so we weren't able to take advantage. The house is located in a very peaceful, remote area - it was a bit of a drive to get to restaurants and grocery stores. We were able to take day trips to Oriental via the very close by ferry, and Beaufort and Morehead City a short drive away. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again while visiting this area, and would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

Great Experience

Neuse Breeze is perfect for a quick getaway with friends or family. The views are amazing and there is plenty of room for outside activities. The private beach is everything you could ask for!

We loved it!!

To say that this house and location was amazing would be an understatement. Marianne and Glenn were gracious hosts and welcomed us with banana bread and a bottle of wine. The house is fully equipped for everything you need and then some. From the private beach to the closeness to restaurants and nearness to Beaufort and Morehead City you could not ask for a better location. Our stay was not long enough to enjoy all the sites to see. But, we would recommend this to house to anyone wishing to have it all and then some.
