Tre sovrum, 2 1/2 bad, två Matplats, två vardagsrum, öppen spis, två stora däck med badtunna med utsikt över floden, jacuzzi, Tvättservice, kolgrill, eldstaden, och River Beach.

Huset är mycket bekväma och rena. Det är nyinredda och laddade med många extrafunktioner för att njuta av naturen. Fiskespön, frisbee, hästsko grop, fotboll, och Wiffle boll / fladdermöss.

Hemmet sover 9 personer bekvämt. Sovrum 1 dubbelsäng,
välvda tak, utsikt över floden. Sovrum 2 Full, antika möbler.
Sovrum 2 Full / Twin våningssängar och en bäddsoffa med en Trundle &
Småbarn säng.

Vi har flera familjemedlemmar som är allergiska mot katter och hundar, så inga husdjur, sorry.

Exactly what we were looking for!

The place and location were great! Well stocked and fun for the kids. Fishing was awesome! Would like to come back in warmer weather too.

Trout fishing trip

The house was exactly what we were expecting and we had no issues with anything. We were stay for a trout fishing trip unfortunately we didn’t catch very many but the house in in the perfect location for fishing close by and easy access to near by streams. We enjoyed the house and would like to come back in the future

Fun Winter Weekend with Friends

Our group was looking for a fun winter weekend in WV and found this great property just outside of Elkins! The house had plenty of room for our group of 7 and had a great, private location along the cheat river. We happened to be staying when a winter storm hit, which made the weekend much more interesting! Luckily, the host was very helpful and communicative to ensure we had a great weekend! We’d love to stay here again - though maybe in the summer next time!

The house was not clean. The entire house, along with the bed, had an unpleasant smell, especially the furniture, pillows, rooms, and bed sheets.

Perfect location to unwind and reset.

The Riverstar is such a beautiful home and property. The house and grounds are well maintained and very clean. The property owner is very polite and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay!

Great family getaway

Property was easy to find very accommodating and spacious. My family is on year 3 of a family trip in or new at Elkins area and we have decided this is the perfect fit. The hot tub was large the yard and fire pit super nice and plenty of games like Cornhole to play. Right by the water so if you want to fish/swim. We will be back next year for the annual trip!

Another amazing stay

This place is amazing. The house is well stocked with cooking utensils and towels and even some firewood for a small fire. We love staying here for our annual girls trip. The hot tub is amazing with the views of the river. Unfortunately we didn’t get much fishing in because the river was high but we enjoyed our time anyway. The host is great with getting back to us. We had zero issues except we didn’t want to leave 😊.

Great Get AWAY!

River Star is everything a house nestled in the mountains should be and so much more. Our stay there was so enjoyable! Beautiful house with all of the amenities along with easy access to town! Everything was perfect! Highly recommend for your stay on the Cheat River! Thank you again Patti for providing us with the most memorable experience!

Wonderful property!

I met up with friends for a girls weekend here and it was perfect. The three bedrooms and bathrooms allowed each of us to have our own space and the common areas were very comfortable for our time together. We spent quite a bit of time in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the river - it was so peaceful. The fire pit offered a great gathering place in the evenings. It was a fantastic trip!

Beautiful river retreat

Wish we had stayed longer. It is a clean and well organized home in the perfect location! The river was great for both the kids and adults. Only issue was some of the screens had small holes which we didn't realize until some bugs got it. It was an relaxing retreat where we could have fun and feel safe.

Absolutely perfect!

Love, love, love River Star! House was clean with nice layout, check-in was a breeze. Property was beautiful, private and peaceful. On a dead end road with a neighbor on each side but enough distance and foliage to feel like no one else is around. Access to river from back yard. Wish we could’ve stayed longer and can’t wait to go back! Perfect- everything I look for in a vacation spot!

Perfect Winter Getaway

Patty was a great communicator!! The house was exceptional! We used it as a place to stay while enjoying sledding and tubing. It was wonderful to relax in the hot tub and we really enjoyed the river view!! The house is huge with plenty of room. The fireplace was wonderful. Our biggest complaint is not having enough time to enjoy the house and use the firepit. We hope to visit during the warm months to take advantage of the river!

Our family fell in love with The Shaver's Fork of The Cheat River. We live close by in Elkins, WV and love to get away to fish, float and relax at the river. I am originally from New York and my husband is a native West Virginian.

Varför värden valde detta boende

River Star is a great location. It has one of the best locations to access the river. It is a gradual access (I call it my river beach) into a great swimming hole. The river has riffles above and below our swimming hole. The property also has a beautiful trickling creek that runs through the property. Kids love to play in the creek, as well as in the river. The property boasts three lots, with a lot of room to play yard games or pop up a tent.
