This property was perfect for our family vacation with my adult children. You were not kidding about the driveway. It is a little scary but worth the view.

Nice, very secluded getaway. The only issue we had was the grass was a bit overgrown and got wet shoes walking back and forth to the fire pit.

This cabin was absolutely beautiful. It had plenty-of-room for us and and children and their family. The inside was all updated and stunning. The guys had a great time in the lower level with the game room while watching sports. The only downfall was having to travel up and down the 1.3 mile of rocky-bumpy driveway. We were there for a wedding and had to leave multiple times to attend the events. 4 wheel drive vehicles are a must. If we get back down for a family vacation, we'll be more prepared with food and activities to have at the cabin as much as possible.

We have been vacationing in the area for 20 years. The scenery is spectacular. The locals are great. What we loved about our stay was: the hot tub, the area attractions, the peaceful setting, seclusion and views. Prior to our visit the host did make sure we knew the road to the cabin needed 4 x 4 or comparable vehicle. Being country folks that was not an issue for us. There were other issues upon arrival and others throughout our stay. The host said she would send a maintenence to fix the issues but we would have to leave. It was not convenient for our group to pack up with all of our recreational gear and go to a hotel ( were most likely our stuff would be stolen) or drive 5 hrs home. So we decided to stay. The host did make a modest adjustment to the fee.

Unfortunately I don’t think there is anything that would have made the renters happy. They reached out to me the afternoon before they were leaving after a long stay requesting reimbursement, saying they had issues with the house. If we had known they were so unhappy at beginning of their stay we would have tried to accommodate. We have received five star reviews before and after. I refunded her one night in good faith, that wasn’t enough for her. I don’t think there was anything we could’ve done to make her happy. There are some people you just cannot please. I wish them the best.

We did enjoy our stay

We did enjoy our stay at Mountain Glory. We made it to the cabin, you definitly need a 4 wheel drive. The hot tub is great und we loved to play pool billiards.

The cabin was private on a mountain side, beautiful views. Family of six, plenty of room for all of us. Great deck overlooking the valley below, hot tub and bathrooms were great. Would definitely stay there again.

Quiet mountainside perch

The property was wonderful. Perfection is clearly unattainable considering the access conditions but they got as close as they could. Clearn, quiet, and remote.

our family came for a peaceful summer vacation and that is exactly what we had! absolutely beautiful home and view. we had the most amazing time and highly recommend. definitely be prepared for the driveway!
