Välkommen till North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains! Du har just hittat den närmaste och mest unika Semester till Stone Mountain State Park, North Carolina största State Park.

Vår stuga ligger mindre än 1 kilometer till ingången till Stone Mountain State Park där du hittar magnifika vattenfall, historiska landmärken, vandringsleder, bergsklättring och mycket, mycket mer!

Tänk dig detta ... du sitter på verandan på en vacker timmerstuga, njuter av den svala, friska bergsluften. Nu ... ser ut nedan och du kommer att se en 70 mil panoramautsikt med varje nyans av färgen grönt utspridda över ett stort skog dalen och tids mjuknat bergen. Vita moln hänger som dollops maräng i Carolina blå himmel.

Nu ... ser österut och du kommer att se Pilot Mountain ("Mt. Pilot "som det hänvisas till på den berömda Andy Griffith TV-show). Och på en klar dag kan du se de höga byggnader i centrala Winston Salem, NC, över 50 miles away!

Och på natten ... Wow ... de tindrande ljus natt i dalen är hisnande och sååå romantiskt!

Naturlig skönhet storleken är så inspirerande och en riktig fest för alla sinnen ... det ger näring åt själen.

Det kommer att vara lika magnifik när Höstlöv måla den röd, koppar, brons och guld; när vintern snö filtar det med en gnistrande lager av socker vitt, och när våren skott, knoppar och blommor dränka den i ett hav av Lacy pastell skum.

Cozy Comfort

Absolutely wonderful ! We were all extremely comfortable and relaxed. Enjoyed cooking out on the grill. My dogs really enjoyed the porches.

Great for Couples Getaway

Great stay, was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, great views, and close to Stone Mountain. Perfect amount of space for my wife and I's anniversary getaway.

Quiet and quaint

A nice little cabin that's spitting distance from Stone Mountain. The view from the back porch is amazing. I'd say it's the coziest I've felt being away from home. I would've loved to stay longer.

Sweet little getaway

This little log cabin was sweet, very relaxing, remote, and a has beautiful lookout from the front porch, perfect for a little getaway for two for some R&R!!

Best weekend getaway.

Such a beautiful and peaceful setting for a great weekend. We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the lovely decks for sitting out and enjoying the wildlife and scenery. One deck is covered and the other not, so we could enjoy even if it rained! Love the mountain views! The cabin is well appointed and has great character.

Wonderful Little Hide Away

We had wanted a nice private cabin in the Yadkin Valley area and this place is great! We had stayed at one of the other cabins here previously and enjoyed this stay at cabin #2 very much. The host is very responsive to any request you make. Cabin was very clean and decently stocked with simple necessities. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends.

Amazing views

My wife & I rented this cabin for 3 nights. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed cooking on the grill with a nice campfire and eating outside @ the pic nic table in the evening. The cabin is adorable and is very relaxing.

Cozy spot with a view

Fantastic location situated close to both a general store and within 5-15 min of all the hiking trailheads around Stone Mountain State Park. Its also quite close to several vineyards and the town of Elkin which has solid food options. The cabin was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Perfect pick for a couple and pet.

Great Weekend

Cabin is nice but you won't be inside much. Quaint outdoors has several places to relax with a large charcoal grill and fire pit. Storm rolled thru Sat night. Sitting on cushioned bench watching it rain with beer and cigar in hand was perfect. Can't wait to try cabin 3 next time.

A beautiful little cabin with a fantastic view

The cabin was clean and comfortable, and well equipped. Temperatures got down into the single digits outside but we were warm and cozy inside, enjoying the jacuzzi and gas log fireplace. It also has baseboard heat. Ed and Martha were very accommodating and personable. We plan to go back in the spring when we can enjoy the outside as well.
