The Blue Door Cottage

Welcome to our Blue Door Cottage! A picturesque setting is the first thing you will notice as you drive in to our Cottage.
We are located within minutes of Sugarcreek, Berlin, and Walnut Creek. After spending your day in Amish Country, come home to peace and quietness where you can watch your favorite movie or enjoy a cup of coffee out on the deck.
If you want to cook, there’s a full kitchen with everything you need. But there are so many wonderful restaurants in the area, you just may not want to cook at all!
We cannot wait to give you an unforgettable experience at our Blue Door Cottage.
We are located on site but far enough away from the Cottage for you to enjoy your privacy.
We love people and hosting you is our greatest joy!

Great place to stay within a few miles of Amish country shops and restaurants. Quaint little cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay! A great view off the deck!

It was a very pleasant experience to stay at the Blue Door Cottage. The owners are very friendly and make the experience very easy. The cottage was very clean and felt warm and comfortable and the side deck was a great place to sit and relax with a view of some woods. The Amish oriented towns of Millersburg and Berlin are a short, picturesque drive from the cottage. I highly recommend this as a great choice!

Little Blue Cottage

It was a very cute and quiet spot. Exceptionally clean and well stocked with things we needed. The host and husband were very kind and accommodating. Will definitely stay there again.

Perfect Get-Away Spot

We loved the cleanliness and intimacy of this get-away spot. The property almost overhangs an active creek which is a nice touch. Kitchen was fully stocked with needed utensils and cookware. The bed was very comfortable, and the location was perfect for hitting all the favorite shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Check-in was very easy as Owner shared entry code. While small, the kitchen was well appointed including some basic items (olive oil spray, salt/pepper, a couple other seasonings). Check out was a breeze--only instruction was to have dishes washed and put away. Location was great for our needs. Rural. No road noise. Totally enjoyed sitting on the desk and watching several bird species feasting on dogwood berries! It was a lovely place and we hope to return.

We stayed for 3 nights as a mid-week getaway. Purpose was to attend a live show at one of the local theaters. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you for hosting such an attractive cottage.

Amazing little cottage

We had an amazing weekend away while staying at the blue door cottage. The cottage had everything we could have needed and more. It was located close to everything we wanted to see and the owners were very friendly. We will be staying here again on our next visit to Dundee!

Wonderful getaway destination!

All the comforts of home and then some! Our hosts attended to our every need with ample amenities a quiet, clean cottage and we enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the birds and lovely scenery. We would definitely like to return!

Wonderful Cottage to Renew

Everything you need is here at this cottage. Located in a quiet corner far from the road, this cottage is the perfect place to rest and reset. Pictures actually show what the cottage looks like. Very cozy and comfortable. We would love to stay here again.

Home away from home

This little cottage was a gem! We have stayed at several VRBO properties but I will have to say this was the cleanest and quietest place that we have ever stayed! Hostess was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this little cottage!

Sweet little Paradise

It was great. Quiet, serene, birds singing. Porch was great except for mosquitoes. Sparkling wine was a nice touch. Very clean and a good price.
