Double booked and didn’t resolve issue

Somehow this property was double booked, and even though I had booked it 7 months in advance, I drew the short straw. 3 hours on the phone standing in the middle of nowhere later, I finally had to book myself my own hotel. Had extra expenses because everything was terribly expensive at the last minute, and having to uber to a new location. Just a terrible experience all around.

Great price- was close enough to the venue for me- This place is small but has kitchen, full size fridge, full bathroom and bedroom separated but a half-wall- nice stained glass small widow- surrounding area is under construction but there was no noise(surrounding area was very quite overall but I was visiting when college was out- A'C is a large unit in the living room on wheels but doesn't take up too much space and works fine- fan light was damaged (I didnt care and the fan still worked- unit was clean kitchen is small but has all the necessary things- For 1-2 persons who need a place to stay that is clean quiet and walking distance to most things this will work perfectly

Could be great

Overall it was a decent stay. The unit was beautiful and clean, with an amazing location. Close to all the fun restaurants and breweries. Nice that it had covered parking included. It’s an old building so everything is very charming, but very small. The parking space was small. The bathroom sink was extremely small, can’t even wash your face or hardly shave with it. The kitchen was very nice, which was good because we used that sink instead. Also, two of the outlets in the unit didn’t work. They obviously knew this was a problem since there were two extension cords in the unit, so it worked out but it was pretty inconvenient especially if you wanted the portable AC unit plugged in or to watch TV. We messaged the host who returned the message a day later, but nothing was fixed by the time we left. The shower pressure bordered on the painful. I wish they had included a luggage rack, as there was no where to put baggage except the floor. No closet or drawers, only two small hooks with a couple hangers near the bathroom. During our stay (March 2024) there was a lot of construction right next door which was loud and early in the morning. Not the host’s fault, but just be aware it can be loud. Overall it was a pleasant stay- could be great with a little more attention to detail. Location makes it worthwhile.
