Excellent!

We love staying at Rio Mar and this place was wonderful. There were six of us and we had ample bed/bathrooms and space in general, plus the two golf carts were perfect. Communication was great. Check in was easy. The area was peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again.

Rio Grande Trip

The home was lovely. Plenty of room to spread out and all the comforts of home. Having the golf carts was a necessity to move around the property and dine at the restaurants. The check in instructions were very detailed and Irma and Jorge were quick to respond to any questions. Would love to stay again soon!

This vacation was perfect! The condo is fantastic, as advertised!! The 3 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, big kitchen and a great outdoor patio for outdoor time after dinner. Golf carts! The owners were great, communicated quickly with any questions we had.The hotel and golf were also great. We used the 2 pools that are part of the condo, and the pool and bar at the hotel. Very easy, and everyone was very friendly. 5 minutes to El Yunque, 30 minutes to Fajardo and 40 to San Juan. Great local restaurants in the area. We ate at SolEo, best meal we had on the island, and the bakery at the bottom of the hill is a must visit, every morning. I highly recommend this condo and the experience. If you are looking to explore this side of the island this condo is a great home base. Thank you for a great family vacation!

Very spacious unit in a very quiet complex. Use of golf carts made trips to the resort and beach convenient. Well stocked kitchen and the entire place was extremely clean. Great for families and friends groups.

Loved the location and all the amenities the resort offered. Only disappointment was that one of the gulf carts was under maintenance the entire time we were there. We make two trips so that we wouldn’t use the car.

The Villa was in a great location, clean and plenty of space for 5 people. The 3 bedroom, each with a bathroom, was fantastic. In addition , the 2 golf carts allowed us to travel back and forth to the resort when we wanted to.

Beautiful and clean Villa

The villa is very spacious and very clean. We had a few maintenance problems during our stay and the grill and the toaster were broken. Hopefully the items will be fixed or replaced before the next guests stay. The 2 golf carts were handy to use around the property. We loved the breeze on the spacious patio. Would highly recommend the place.

The villa was very clean and spacious. The owners were available to answer any questions or concerns at any time. The home was furnished with linens, beach towels, snorkeling gear, water toys for kids. The owners provide the use of two golf carts to aid you in getting around the gated and guarded community. The private beach was clean, secure and was were we spent most of our time. The best accommodations I've experienced and yes there is A/C. If you're going to P.R. stay here. Amazing stay

We loved this property so much! The most spacious condo I’ve stayed in, the master suite was huge, and the other two bedrooms were a great size as well. The deck was beautiful and the perfect place for coffee in the morning. The condo was very clean and well stocked, with lots of supplies for the beach, which my kids were excited about. We loved that we could walk to the nearby pool, and having the two golf carts to get to the beach (about a 5 minute ride -another hit for the kids) was so convenient. The beach is gorgeous and it felt like we had the place to ourselves! We could have used a map of the grounds to better find our way around, but we figured it out after some exploring! I would absolutely come back! (and hope to!) Not only was this condo only 35 minutes from the airport, it was the perfect central location for exploring El Yunque, Old San Juan and Fajardo. And lastly the host so quick to respond with any questions, and very accommodating in letting us check out late the last day, I really appreciated it! Book here for sure!!

We are a family of 4 and it was our first time in PuertoRico as a family. The arrangements for the villa including check-in and check-out were very easy.The villa was as expected based on the listing and we were pleased. The kitchen and laundry facilities were great. We loved the veranda with the hammock. I wish we were able to spend more time on the veranda, loved that it had a grill and plenty of seating.The beach club was great. We spent at least three days there.Restaurant recommendation: Las Picos (down the hill) was authentically Puerto Rican and very tasty. Hands down we had the best rice and beans there and that is saying a lot as every restaurant we ate at was great.If there were anything I couldd suggest to improve the villa it would be to address the loud noise the the back up generator makes. It clicked on and off nearly the entire visit. In addition the air conditioner is pretty loud. However it did keep the unit cool. Lastly, I would include a recycling bin. We felt bad trhrowing all of our plastics in the garbage.With all that said I would absolutely consider staying here again and would referrer friends.Thank you

Not quite what the listing promises, but a nice and very spacious villa

The reason for a 3 star rating with 1 star on owner communication was related to the fact that one of the golf carts was broken during our entire visit, which is - primary feature called out of the listing title - “2 golf carts.” For a family that won’t fit on a single cart, having 2 carts was a major selling point. When I shared this with the owner at the end of the visit, and suggested an appropriate portion of the rental be refunded, I was ghosted and did not receive a response. In addition, the resort/hotel is not crazy about short term renters of the villas using their amenities. We were never turned away, but at times we were made to feel we were not really supposed to be there. The villa itself is beautiful and the hosts were very responsive through our 5 day stay when we requested extra linens or had questions. They were fast, helpful, and courteous. I was surprised by the way the visit ended with the owners not responding to me at all.

Very spacious villa. Kitchen fully equiped. Lots of amenities included and the golf carts are a super plus as it is not that close a walk to,the beach/hotel area if carrying bags, however the pool is very nive and fust a few feet away. The golf course is walking distance. Only recommendation would be to get a bigger tv for the living room if at anytime the furniture is changed that could fit a bigger tv. Communication with the hosts was veryneasy as well as the check in process.

This is an amazing property with fantastic amenities! This was our second stay at Irma and Jorge’s place, and it was just as great as the first. The home is spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you need to feel comfortable and safe. this was a very well-apportioned and well-maintained location. The use of the golfcarts was ideal for getting around to the facilities in the gated community. There is a member pool within 2 minute walking distance from this location. We often had the pool to ourselves no matter the time of day. A second member pool is on the far side of the resort which was next to beach access. The beach itself was well-kept and there were pool lounge chairs for member use. While we had access to the Wyndham hotel grounds, at the time we went they were in the process of upgrading parts of the facility and so the casino was closed. The rainforest national park is literally across the street, but some of the areas in the park were also closed when we went - seemingly due to construction. We were able to visit some of the falls and a view from a tower which was worth the trip.Speaking again about the villa itself, our host had included a well-apportioned kitchen and was pleasant to communicate with. A lot of time was spent on the breezy outdoor patio. All considered, this location is well-recommended.

Fantastic host

The villa is very spacious and well furnished. Irma was extremely helpful and responsive and having two golf carts was great for my family. We played golf, hiked the rain forest and strolled the beach. The entire resort is awesome. Highly recommend the unit and location.

Superb

I'm from Maryland and I stayed at this property with my wife and four children for two weeks in the summer of 2025. Jorge and Irma were great to work with. They communicated in a clear and timely fashion. My wife said that the property was better and larger in person than the pictures online led her to expect. I appreciated that there were two central A/C units. The furniture and décor were pleasant. The golf carts were fun. The Rio Mar Resort is beautiful. The pools are clean; the staff are friendly. We would stay here again. There are two pictures attached. The first is of my four kids at Coco Falls. The second is taken after our bio bay kayak tour.

Wonderful stay

We came with our young adult daughters and had a wonderful stay. The villa was beautiful and the views and locations was amazing. Having access to the 2 golf carts was key because the villa is a ways from the main resort bit totally worth it. I would definitely stay here again.
