Vänligen läs beskrivning !!! Området har ingen brottslighet jämfört med East Bank. Näst äldsta stadsdel i New Orleans. Det här hundra och femtioåriga huset är vackert renoverat med tolv fottak, hårda trägolv, hagelgevär, dubbel. Den har tre sovrum och två smarta TV-apparater med två drottningar och uppvärmda golv! På övervåningen King säng med Roku på tak ovanför kung säng med dörr som går ut till 8x12 "däck med utsikt över staden och Heliga Namnet på Mary Church.! Köket har ny mikrovågsugn och gasugn. Halv bad under trappan

Vi är två kvarter från färjan för att ta dig över floden. Ferry ride har mycket fin utsikt över New Orleans. Trevligt skott av Saint Louis Cathedral. Det är trevligt när solen ligger.
Näst äldsta stadsdel i New Orleans. 200 år gammal! Husen i grannskapet är fantastiska. Husen har mycket karaktär. Med ett barn parkerar tre dörrar ner och två andra parker i grannskapet, gör detta det bästa stadsdelen du kan boka. Det finns tre riktigt coola barer. Old Point Bar är bäst med levande musik. Crown and Anchor English Pub. Det finns tre restauranger, Tout De Sweets är bra för frukost och lunch. Tavolinos italiensk restaurang och dry dock Cafe! Congregation har det bästa kaffet! Ett stenkafé ligger på Verret st runt hörnet. Vänligen meddela oss om dig själv. Som snarkar du? Vad tycker du om att dricka. Hundar måste vara i koppel och i kennel inte av möbler. Plocka upp efter ditt husdjur. Vi har extra kennel. Ingen tung dricks och högtalande. Fråga om min hemsida. Snälla, kom inte bara upp. Text Andy en timme eller två före ankomst, ty! Du kan njuta av tidig incheckning eller ut om ingen checkar in eller ut samma dag för tio dollar per timme. Klockan 16.00 kl 11.00

Still awaiting my refund ..took one look and booked elsewhere, pictures and reviews did not match up , was very disappointed. No secure locks between the property and the owner next door, beds rumpled , dirt in sink and on counter In bathroom

Artsy comfortable duplex in a great location

We traveled with our two teens and grandmother and a small dog. We were very comfortable in this house. It has an artsy /slightly rustic charm. In addition to the the two beds, there is a pull out couch. There is a small kitchen. Andrew was great and helpful. Loved his music and voice. The area was wonderful with very easy access to the French Quarter by ferry only about 2 blocks from the house. We spent more evenings in Algiers Point than we originally expected because we enjoyed the laid back charm and friendliness. There were several favorite restaurants and a take out place that we loved, tout de sweet and appetite repair(take out only).Rosetree glass was a beautiful studio . Everything was a short walk from the house. Andrew, thank you for providing a wonderful home.

Great home in a quiet area of NOLA

If you're looking for a place to stay away from the hustle & bustle of the French Quarter, this place is a great option. You can easily get to downtown/French Quarter via the ferry (a 2 block walk) or a 15 minute drive. The home is in a cute neighborhood with a great breakfast spot & bar just around the block. Andy was a great host, meeting us at the house and making sure we had what we needed. He has done a great job of updating this late 1800's home. The house was a perfect set-up for the 4 adults in our group. There are 2 bedrooms - one off the living room and the other just beyond that. There's not a ton of privacy, but that's true with most shotgun style houses. One big plus - the beds were very comfortable! After a long day of walking all over NOLA, it was nice to come back to a comfortable bed. Overall, this is a great place if you're looking for an affordable place to stay outside the French Quarter. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and mellow

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. The house owner lived next door and was very accommodating to our questions. The neighborhood was very warm and everyone there was kind. All in all the trip was the best one I’ve ever had. We will most definitely be coming back next year.

2nd Annual Vaca with my kiddos. 1st New Orleans experience for us all.

The property did not disappoint. It was just what my family & I needed. Spacious, stocked, convenient & clean. Andy (owner) was kind, hospitable & helpful with whatever I needed. We’re an easy going family who spend more time out & about enjoying new experiences. So “luxury” isn’t high on our list. If luxury is what you’re looking for, this is not the property for you. But if you’re looking for a comfortable, personable, quality experience overall...this is a great place to stay. We’d DEFINITELY come here again. Thank you Andy!!!

Great Sleep

We had such a busy and stressful April; this house was a perfect place for us to wind down the month. There is a big, airy bedroom upstairs, but we slept in the room downstairs -- no noise, no light (blackout curtains) and a really comfortable bed. A couple blocks away is the ferry; puts you in the French Quarter in less than 10 minutes, and you can come back home and relax, away from the noise and the crowds. We walked everywhere, a wonderful path on the levy along the Mississippi with a killer view of New Orleans, a Fresh Market, Restaurants, and Bars right in Algers Point. The owner lives next door, and was very helpful with suggestions, even offering to go with us to Frenchman Street; if my husband had not been so tired that night, we would have taken him up on it. We will definitely consider this house again the next time we come to New Orleans

Great location but more info would be nice!

Our stay at the Guitar House was fine. The location is good and as the website says- you are close to the ferry. But it would have been nice to know the cost and hours of ferry (and that exact change is needed) in information on booking site and in the home. There was no info provided about the home, location in writing when we got there. I assumed more info would be forthcoming nothing came. Issues about lighting and cooling would have been understood if an effort to share this info would have come. With the request for a text two hours prior to arrival, I would have assumed lights would be turned on and the house at a reasonable temp. Finally, note price before booking. Looks like a good deal for number of people location sleeps, but with per person guest fee cost added under owner fees, cost may be double what you expected.

It’s a quirky property with a quirky owner/host. Great location just a 5 minute ferry ride from city

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Andy is good fun and enjoyed playing a little guitar with him. The home is quite an experience but don’t expect 5 star. Expect something different. If here in cold weather bring warm clothes. The heating is not great. A toaster and a kettle would be good too. We also felt some general info re shop locations, ferry, entertainment, the usual stuff would be helpful although Andy was generally on hand to answer any questions. Also thanks Andy for a great Bbq! Good luck with the flying machine. 🎸

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay here very much! Andy was very accommodating and provided us with many useful tips. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the location, a very safe neighborhood and a short walk to the ferry, which brings you directly to the French Quarter. So convenient! Also very clean.

Great area to stay especially with a dog, and the house wasn't what I expected but was adequate.

The area was great and it felt very safe walking around. It was within walking distance to the ferry to the French quarter, and to several fantastic area restaurants. The owners were nice and quiet, as they live in the other side of the house. However there were a few issues we had during our stay. I didn't feel the online pictures accurately depicted the true cosmetic appearance of the house, especially the kitchen which needs cosmetic repairs, and there wasn't enough silverware for the 5 of us. We could never get the stove/oven to work, but fortunately didn't really need it. I didn't realize there wasn't any central heat, only small portable radiant heaters. We had an elderly family member with us who needed heat at the time. There was a roof leak during heavy rain into our bedroom, which wet some clothing items but the owners addressed the problem promptly the next day. The house however was clean and the owners consistently kind and we did enjoy our 4 day stay.

A Lovely, Quiet Space After Fun Days in NOLA

This house was perfect for our needs. A short ferry ride away from the French Quarter & NOLA art district, we got to enjoy the city bustle then retreat to quiet, cozy house. There are wonderful restaurants/bars a few blocks away from the house with great food and drink. The owners are helpful & attentive & were there to greet us. I cannot recommend this place enough, & we will be back next time we are in NOLA.

Nice property, just not very well managed

I had stayed at this very same property 4 years ago and loved it. Owner was very attentive and all amenities were in order...this time however was different. I was texted by the owners wife several days before my arrival to be sure not to arrive prior to 4pm. I assured her that we would be arriving after 4 because our flight was not arriving in New Orleans till after 330. I texted the owner as we were climbing in our UBER and leaving the airport to let him know that we were on our way. 5 minutes prior to actual arrival at the house I received a text back stating that the property was not ready for us, and that the party that had been staying there had not left. It was approximately 4:45 when we arrived at the house. We were met on the porch by the owner and his wife who stated that all of the previous renters belongings were still in the unit, they had been unable to reach them. Also, the unit had not been cleaned. Needless to say we were pretty fed up about this because we felt that if check out time is 11 am, the owners should have made it a point to check to see if the previously renting party had vacated the premises. It seemed that it was a complete oversight on the owners part. Eventually after a wait on the front porch of another 45 minutes we were able to get into the property. The owners wife apologized and said the she would take off our cleaning fee, (we already had paid it, we got no money refunded by the owner), that she did clean the bathroom, mop the floor, and change our sheets...I hate to say this, but I feel very questionable about this as the floor wasn't even damp, and there were long black hairs in the shower that did not come from my head or my traveling companion. Also, we had to ask for toilet paper as there was none at all in the bathroom. I'm sorry Andy, you did good the first time, but I was quite disappointed this time. Also, FYI, the walls are thin. We could hear your TV and all of your cussing and yelling at eachother

Amazing stay

Incredible and quiet neighborhood

Attractive railroad style home in incredibly quaint and safe neighborhood. Easy access to French Quarter with nearby ferry. Comfortable beds, clean unit, and nice hosts too.

The property was immaculate!

Great Location that included easy access to Ferry. Local restaurants within walking distance. Our concierge was AWESOME and recommended great places to visit. The amenities are priceless vintage style. I will definitely visit this location frequently.

Andrew is a great guy he helped me out with anything I needed to get comfortable with my stay there I will always try to stay in this place every time I visit New Orleans it’s the perfect place to be Andrew and his wife are wonderful people and they made me and fiancé feel like we were home if your looking for a place to stay this is it! So if there is anyone out there who ever wrote a bad review about this place they are telling a lie this is a perfect place and no one should have anything bad to say about it period! I enjoyed every bit of my stay here! Thank you Andrew I really enjoyed my stay there
