Beautiful week at Shoreline Towers 2042

Condo was clean and well appointed with everything we needed for a glorious girls week away. Weather cooperated and we had 7 days of glorious sunshine. The view from the condo is a beautiful panorama of the Emerald Shores beach. Plenty of excellent restaurant choices. for breakfast lunch or dinner. It is shoppers paradise with tons of options for the avid shopper. Loved it here and cant wait to return.

Fairly nice

Unit 2042 Not Happy

Rating Details: The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was not happy with our stay in unit 2042. It needs several updates in the unit. Door entrance is terrible with many gaps in the door. Master bedroom needs new bedding. Bought new king size sheets for bed. Did not like the livingroom extension with no outside patio. Light in the dining area was very dim and no way to brighten up the area. Furniture in livingroom was old and worn. Looked like mold was starting in Master bath shower.

Worst vacation EVER

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Shoreline Towers for the last 6 years and this will be our last time. There was construction going on ALL FREEKIN WEEK in a condo next to us. This was completely unexceptionable and screwed up any chance of sleeping past 9am or taking a nice relaxing nap in the afternoon when they were FREEKIN USING A JACK HAMMER. Good God Man!! And what is so bad is that THIS condo was recommended to me by your reservation office. We couldn't even watch TV in our room between 9am and 4pm. The room was clean and the grounds were as well kept as in all our past visits. The beach was tooooo crowded and I felt like we were packed under neath umbrells like sardines. Some of the rednecks down at the beach were taking other peoples chairs and using umbrellas that didn't belong to them and the "beach boys" didn't do anything about it. I had to confront these back woods people myself!! The "Beach Boys" also resold umbrellas if the original people were not there. Double dipping. My wife and I are just so happy we only WASTED A WEEK in a FREEKIN construction zone. Thank goodness we still have vacation left to go to Belize or Cozumel thank God. We have stayed in one of your penthouse condos for the past 3-4 years with Linda Harlin. Each time we have had dish washer, wifi, AC or flooding balcony issues....but we've always come back. Not again....Not again. Mark Jones, OUT!

Wonderful Stay!!

Family vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unacceptable for us but maybe alright for another type of family.The floors had not been vacuumed, there were dirty pots and pans placed underneath the cabinets, the mattress underlining was hanging from the boxspring, a tiny child’s underwear was behind a dresser placed in the closet, the windows were partially cleaned, the counter space in the kitchen was partially cleaned, there were not any sheets nor blankets there for the pullout sofa which was needed to accommodate 6 people. Other things could be said but it’s not necessary.

This one had roaches in kitchen drawers, very basic kitchen ware. All knives were dull! Blender that looks like it was from the 50's. No shampoo/conditioner. A/C never cooled unit enough, especially master bdrm. Entry lock was difficult to lock/unlock. Overall, very disappointed!

The air conditioner didn't work during the last 10 days of our stay. We asked for some compensation and got none. The floor was dirty and we cleaned it. Shoreline Towers

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Probably wouldn't stay in this unit again. The unit was very dated. We do a good bit of cooking and we had to open the doors to vent the unit when we cooked breakfast. The stove doesn't have a vent. The shower curtain had mold/mildew on it so i went to Target and purchased a new one. The description stated that the kitchen was fully stocked...there was one frying pan. The beach was very crowded which can be partly contributed to the fact it was a holiday, but the company that places the chairs out there have so many chairs that if you do not purchase the chair service for the day you don't really have any where to sit. They will not allow any umbrellas in front of their chairs so you have to sit three to four rows behind chairs and open umbrellas. From this seat you can't even see the water. The check in and check out went smoothly though.

Family get away

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This trip was a little disappointing. First , the resort itself wasn’t what we expected it to be. Which is some what our fault. The trip was last minute and I didn’t research enough. I didn’t realize there would only be one small pool that held up to 50 people . Not even near the ocean.. This was very inconvenient seeing how the ocean was closed for the first 3 days. 😳 . The towers themselves need to maintained/updated. It was also a shock to me that we had to pay for ice. I have been to Destin 5 times in the last 3 years and have never not had a free ice machine on the property. Lucky , our condo was very nice on the inside. The view was absolutely prefect. It was furnished with everything we needed for our stay. I do want to give a huge thanks to Shore tower for being so quick and very helpful with a maintenance issue we had. The security was also awesome. We all felt very safe.

Dreamy Destin at Shoreline!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I LOVE Shoreline Towers! We use this condo nearly every year. The views are exquisite. The 'neighbors' in the condo community are lovely, many are owners who obviously care very much about their property and visitors. Mandy and Daniel of the beach setup service are amazing! Shoreline is 5 minutes from anywhere you want to go in Destin, keeping commuting stress for when you go home. We will be back soon!

Wonderful condo

We loved the condo and would definitely stay again. Beautiful beach area. Would have given 5 stars but the silverware and dinnerware were not cleaned well before placing in the cabinets/drawers. Other than that the condo is a perfect place and is as seen in the pictures.

Enjoyable Week

My wife and I needed some time away to relax. The condo was everything it advertised, and well equipped. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. The location is nice with easy access to the beach. On the down side there were a couple of cracks in the hallway and balcony/sunroom floors. All in all we enjoyed the stay and will return.

Restful week

Reviewer Comments: My wife and I were in desperate need of some time away from our day to day madness! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in early November. The condo was everything advertised. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The unit was quiet and allowed us to get some much needed rest. The beach was very nice, although the weather cooperate for a few days. On the downside the unit has a couple of cracked ceramic tiles in the hallway, and in the sunroom. All in all my wife and I will definitely return to Shoreline Towers!

worst condo ever

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: absolutely frustrating. From the moment we opened door, the mildew and mold was quite visible, the kitchen was original with awful cabinets and formica, sink stained and chipped. the place was utterly disgusting, we couldn't sleep in it for two nights because the carpet smelled of urine, the shower had hair and mold in it. Couldn't walk on floor barefooted because it was just too gross. the dished and pots and pans were awful, couldn't cook on stove because there is no ventilating fan, the AC worked minimally, the owners shouldn't be allowed to rent it because it's in terrible shape and apparently they have no pride. Looks like they furnished it with all their old 1960's cookware , it's a shame when you're paying $2900 TTL that you have to suffer through it. Also, the TV's were tiny so really hard to watch without magnifying glasses. AGAIN THE OWNERS SHOULD BE ASHAMED AND THE PROPERTY MGMT PEOPLE SHOULD NOT ALLOW IT TO BE RENTED! SHAME ON THEM
