Fantastic Stay at The Barndo

The Barndo was the perfect home base for our weekend on the bourbon trail! The location was ideal, making it easy to explore the area. The property itself is spacious, well-stocked, and comfortable. We especially loved the stunning sunrise and sunset views- absolutely breathtaking! Communication with the host was excellent and timely, making our stay seamless. Everyone in our group raved about the property, and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area.

We will be back!

This was one of the best stays we have had! This home was cozy, clean, and comfortably fit all 10 of us! Everyone had plenty of room and we were grateful for the thoughtful hosts who made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Family Bourbon Trail Trip

Great time at a great location. Plenty of space and plenty of fun. Everything was comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed family dinners around the beautiful dining room table and even took a picture of the whole family on very large comfy couch!! Well stocked kitchen - nice to have a variety of spices. The game room was amazing! Fun to play Horse inside in the middle of winter. Thanks so much for sharing Barndo!!

Girls weekend

This house and property was perfect for a girls weekend! Whether we just chilled at the house or went out on the town everything was accessible and nice. The host was very responsive and made this weekend a breeze with planning.

Book Club Weekend

The property is amazing, hostess is wonderful, would definitely all stay again. But, a few minor tweaks would make it even more spectacular. Possibly having a dishwasher, basic cable channels and not having a dog on site.

Dad's 80th Birthday

What a great house. Plenty of room for 8 adults. And great location to hit the bourbon trail, which we did many days. Owner was quick to respond with any questions. Would stay here again!

Spectacular!!!

You MUST go to Bardstown and use the Barndo as your next getaway!!!! The Mashburns have a diamond in the rough just a few minutes from downtown Bardstown. Great place, great location, great amenities and great folks. No negatives here AND a great view!!!!

Don't Pass on This Home

What a perfect location to so so many distilleries...yes, we were on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. As a first timer to Kentucky, this is the view I hoped to see of the state. Impressive and beautiful. Every one of us had a King size bed to ourselves, so that helps when sleeping away from home, but the quality of the mattress was amazing. I meant to grab a picture of the brand. Beautiful, Impeccable, Entertaining in all the best ways. Thanks for having us

Absolutely Amazing!

The property was stunning and beautiful. Space for everyone there, immaculately clean. Bailey was one of the best hosts I've dealt with, responding to every question I had before and during the trip extremely quickly. If you're headed to the Bardstown area, I cannot recommend enough, you need to put the Barndo at Mashburn farms on your list of places to stay!

Nice home with STUNNING views. House is beautifully decorated and has plenty of room. Game room area is lots of fun- could use fan in there though. Host was great and very helpful.

Great place

Beautiful, large house with even space for everyone. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. The best part, besides the views, was the gaming garage. The hosts were very prompt and were excellent. I would highly recommend, 10 out of 10 all around!

Great place to stay

Loved staying here. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and space for large groups. Giant indoor area to hang out and play basketball, cornhole etc. Lots of tvs. Peaceful area, out in the country. Hostess responds quickly and great to work with.

Family adventure

We had 9 adults and there was plenty of space, was very clean, plenty of parking. The game room was beyond expectations and we just couldn’t stay longer-or we would have! Bailey was very responsive to all our questions. Would definitely recommend and we would stay there again!

Bardstown Bourbon Trip

Great long weekend trip to the Bourbon Capital of the world and The Barndo was perfect for our group of friends. It’s in a great location to numerous distilleries as well as Bardstown! The host made the entire stay a very easy trip with quick responses to any questions I had. I would definitely recommend The Barndo to anyone looking to stay in the Bardstown area!

Weekend girls trip on the bourbon trail

The house is beautiful. Brand new. Although a tad off the beaten path through very windy narrow roads, this private home has 360• view of the area-sunrise to sunset. So quiet and dark-away from the city lights. Super attentive hosts-never really had an issue to reach out after we arrived. I would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing barndo on the bourbon trail!

We just had an amazing stay at this beautiful new construction barndominuim. We had three adult couples, and there was plenty of space for all of us. The home was very clean, and all beds were comfortable. The location also can’t be beat, extremely close to Heaven hill, Willett, and Bardstown bourbon company, yet still within an hour of tons of the other distillers. We would absolutely stay here again in the future. Bailey was very friendly and extremely helpful.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

As a Christmas gift to my husband, I planned a guys weekend trip on the Bourbon Trail. There were 6 guys that went. They had an incredible time and stay in this beautiful barndominium. The property was breathtaking. Bailey was in incredible host!! Bailey responded also immediately each time we messaged him and was extremely kind and helpful. My husband left something behind and Bailey kindly mailed it to us the very next day. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this experience was for my husband and his group!
