The worst Vrbo experience I’ve ever had. The listing is for a different unit than the host told us about. We booked unit a which looked nice, and then the day of booking, the message from the host said unit b. Everything that could be wrong about a stay, was wrong. Dishes in the sink, trash in the trash cans, tvs pulled off the walls. Holls in the walls, glass busted out of the fridge drawers. Fire alarms chirping. All the pictures had either fallen off or been pulled off. Just a wall of command hooks. When I called and tried to address the horrible situation with the host, he began yelling at me saying he had cleaned it himself this morning and that the reason we weren’t booked in unit a is because the AC was broken. Except we were attached to unit a andddd there were a whole bunch of people there… He started yelling and telling me if I didn’t like it that I could get out. That I better be out because he would be there in 10 minutes. We were desperately trying to find another place when he started banging at the door telling us to get out. We had to lock all the doors and call the cops on him because we didn’t feel safe leaving. We hadn’t even had time to find another place to stay. We were finally able to get out when the cops came and they told us to make sure we had time stamps of everything because the host was telling them we had caused damage and he needed to get in to take pictures. I had already been in contact with support, emailed all the photos over.
