Polynesian #104 Ground Level

Polynesian Village Condos is the best kept secrete around PCB. You are literally .25 of a mile from pier park . It is a low rise brown 2 story complex you would almost just drive on by, nestled on the white sandy beaches. If your looking to be in the middle of all the action , and activities , you can walk to pier park from the location- but also stay distance from the large crowds being at a small old school complex. This isn't a high rise, there are no elevators or parking garages or arm bands to purchase ... you park at the door and you go on into the condo – sounds easy ? it is!

1 bed 1 bath condos with sleeper sofas can sleep a nice family easily. Wake up to the sunrise , walk to Starbucks if you like , or catch the sunset with ease just out the slider door. Walk with your wine to dinner at Pier Park , catch some songs at tootsies. The events and possibilities are endless. Full kitchens to accommodate the gormet cook or hit up Dustys Oyster bar , diagonal from the complex. There is a on-site relaxing , never over crowded , simple pool to jump into on the lake side , or feed or fish the lake . Sometimes you may catch a local alligator in that lake , just keep your eyes out .

You get what you pay for.

It was great to be right on the beach, and it is convenient to everything, but the condo itself could use an upgrade. The sliding door is extremely difficult to slide and doesn't lock without putting a pole behind it. The bathroom needs a complete overhaul. The bed is terribly uncomfortable and the bedroom could use some extra lighting. There was no toilet paper nor paper towels. Would I stay here again? Maybe, because of the location.

Spring Break

Location is everything and having your vehicle right outside your door and no elevators. Just what we needed and everything was provided. Super cool place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay here! It was so nice to unload our car right at our rental door! And being on the beach...Amazing! Thank you! The patio was perfect for having our meals, watching the ocean, the sunset! We so hope to revisit this rental in the near future!!!

Beachy

Our stay was great. Going to extend our visit next year. Walk out to the beach, I love waking up to the waves and we saw dolphins early in the morning. That was a plus. Location was great for things to do and restaurants close by. Can’t wait till next year !!!!!!!!!!

PCB on the Beach

The views from the patio of the Gulf are wonderful especially at sunset time. The access to the beach from the patio is only steps away which is great and the beach is walkable for a long way in either direction. The unit has a nice kitchen with a lot of supplies for cooking a meal there. The living room & dining room combo is spacious with a large TV. The bedroom is good sized. The mattress is a bit soft for our liking. The bathroom is adequate with a tub/shower combination. The tub does have a tendency to drain slowly. The location of this unit is in a quiet area of the beach and is close to shopping and restaurants. We loved staying right on the beach.

Great view, nice location

We enjoyed our stay. It was convenient to park by the front door to unload our things, and quite nice to walk out the back door and be on the beach. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet at night. The kitchen was tiny, but I didn’t cook the week we stayed there. The condo needs some TLC. With a few small repairs, some paint, and a little updating, it would be a real gem.

Les pieds dans l’eau

Deuxième fois que nous séjournons au Polynesian village,le cadre est idyllique . L’appartement mériterait toutefois un petit coup de refraichissement(canapé sale, baie vitrée qui ne se ferme pas, l’eau de la douche s’évacue mal). Mais notre séjour a été formidable et nous rentrons en France qu’avec de merveilleux souvenirs.Nous avons bien l’intention de revenir à PCB

Simple small apartment

Location was perfect, view was spectacular. The beach wasn't crowded at all. The room is fine if you are interested in just a place to sleep and shower. That was all we needed. Perfect size for the two of us.

Great location!

Great location with beautiful view of the ocean! If you like spending your time at the beach, on the beach, it doesn’t get any better. Far enough away from any condo towers to keep the beach area from being crowded!

Very disappointed

Check in was great. Location and view was amazing! Rooms wasn’t very clean. Several things broken. (Screen door, vanity in bathroom, etc). Stove was shocking us. They did come look at it and just said we will see if it’s under warranty. We had already went and spent money on food to cook for the week. So we were out that money plus having to eat out then. Washer didn’t work that’s on the property. Vacuum was full of nasty green water or something. I reached out about all the problems we had after the stove and didn’t get a response. You also only get 1 wash rag and 5 towels for the week. Very very disappointed with our stay this week.

Beachside Comfort

Loved the location and convenience to all the local hot spots. Bonus umbrella and sand castle toys! Bedding a bit tired (could use a new foam mattress pad). Living area rug needs to be replaced. Lastly, the shower drain needs cleaning (slow draining).All over score 5 stars. We will be back for additional stay in the Fall.

Beware not as described!! Contacted owner of property and never heard back from them! Sliding door does not not lock! Toilet seat was broken. Smelled horrible from cigarettes and Marijuana throughout condo. Dirt on walls, floor and couch. Not clean!

Dirty

We were super disappointed in how dirty the condo was upon arrival. The furniture was soiled, the floor left our socks black on the bottoms and we found dirty dishes in the cabinet. We actually went and purchased cleaning products to clean the condo before we brought our stuff in. Besides needing a good scrub the condo really needs to be freshened up with new paint, the broken lock on the sliding door fixed and the peeling tile on the wall by the third sink needs to be replaced . The outside patio is nice unless it rains and the interior rug that is out there gets wet and smells like mildew . The one nice thing about this rental is the location is awesome. It’s an easy walk to the beach and the pool located across the road on the back side of the condo is nice as well. The overall area of Panama is nice and offers a lot for teens.
