Family Thanksgiving

It's a fun little house and we enjoyed staying there but we arrived in the evening and the temperature inside was 50 degrees which went up very slowly and was only 56 when we went to bed a few hours later--not comfortable. We set it to 50 when we left but would suggest that a bit warmer might be good in cold weather.

Had a wonderful peaceful time relaxing

Beautiful peaceful home to relax, walk down to the river, play games on the back patio. Close to Crater lake (45 mins) and such a beautiful drive. The home is totally stocked with anything and everything you need and want. Even have fishing poles in one of the closets ( found them on the last day unfortunately. .

A Great Reunion!

My buddy and I took a roadtrip to see our best friend from high school. He just happened to live three doors down from this property. We spent the weekend rafting, bbqing, and catching up. Besides being perfectly located, the house had everything we needed to feel at home. The check-in/out process was simple and the amenities made us feel like we were home. I am planning future trips to Shady Cove and will definitely stay here again!

Very wonderful place to stay at

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming property in Shady Cove and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the picturesque setting, especially the delightful apple tree. The owner generously allowed me to pick some fresh apples, which was a lovely and unexpected treat. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the necessary supplies, making it easy to prepare meals during my stay. The cleanliness of the unit was impeccable, and it was clear that great care is taken to maintain a spotless environment for guests. One of the highlights was the vibrant and colorful furniture and decor throughout the unit. Each piece added a unique touch, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The owner was incredibly responsive, addressing any questions or needs I had almost immediately. This level of service truly enhanced my stay and made everything run smoothly. Additionally, the cable TV and the wide variety of media options available provided ample entertainment during my downtime. It was wonderful to have so many choices to relax with in the evenings. Overall, I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a delightful and comfortable stay in Shady Cove. I look forward to returning in the future!

Lovely location

Beautiful spot on the rambling rogue!! We stayed during a heat wave so being able to dip feet into the rogue was delightful. The house met all our needs. Grocery, gas and restaurants minutes away and just under an hour to Crater Lake and national forest areas!!! Gael was quick to respond with our question. Thanks for everything!!!

This property is a warm, welcoming home on the river. It was clean and lacked nothing we needed. It’s in a quiet neighborhood. Sitting out by the river was so relaxing. The host replied promptly to our inquiries. We highly recommend this property.

Great Place

It was a beautiful home and it was nice and relaxing to have the river behind us. Very safe for children, to the huge front yard to the nice, fenced backyard. As long as they are obedient kids. It has a nice and well built deck. I think the owner is a builder and has excellent carpenter skills.

The home was cute and well kitchen stocked..

The driveway had a lot of parking for us and our drift boat. It would be nice if they cut in the grass a place to backup future to turn around. We enjoyed sitting at the river and we went fishing in the drift boat, rafting, jet boat evening dinner cruise and enjoyed our friends. We were impressed that the kitchen had quality pots and pans and other kitchen items needed to cook and prepare a wonderful meal. We will use the property again if it's available, it was very cute inside and very maintained outside. The neighbor was quiet. Thanks again Frank and Bev Betts

We enjoy fishing, camping, hiking and biking. My family and I discovered Shady Cove when my son enrolled at Southern Oregon University in Ashland. We enjoy visiting every chance we get!

While traveling in Oregon, we fell in love with Shady Cove after taking a raft trip from the Lost Creek Reservoir down the Rogue River into the heart of town. The beauty of the area is unparalleled.

Shady Cove is perfectly situated to enjoy all that Southern Oregon has to offer. The beautiful and unique Crater Lake is a must see adventure to the north. Along the way, visit Union Creek Station, historic Prospect, and breathtaking river views.

Nearby lakes offer fishing, swimming, and boating. Rafting adventures start right in town and guided tours can also be arranged in Grants Pass. Multiple fishing shops and guides make Shady Cove a fisherman's destination.

A short drive south takes you through Eagle Point with its golf course and the 1890's water powered Butte Creek Mill. Continuing west through the modern city of Medford takes you to historic Jacksonville and the Britt Festival, offering art and music events throughout the season. The nearby Applegate Valley is a lovely drive north to shopping and exploring in Grant's Pass.

Just 45 minutes south of Shady Cove is Ashland, home of the world famous Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Lithia Park. The restaurants and shops are outstanding.

This house sit on a half acre of lawn and pine trees the stretches down to your own private 80 feet of riverfront. We love to sit down by the river and watch the wildlife by day and the stars at night.

We often walk into town for breakfast or coffee. Shady Cove restaurants offer great food, casual atmosphere, and friendly, hometown hospitality.

There are so many parks within minutes, we never run out of new places to explore. Favorite drives include trips to local wineries and gourmet food shops like the Rogue Valley Creamery and Gary West Meats.
