The construction to convert these buildings into a vacation rental was cheap and superficial. It feels like youâre on the set of a play. Everything might look ok at a distance (or in pictures for the listing), but if you get up close you see how flimsy and slipshod everything is.The 3 bedrooms upstairs are really one big room with dividers put up to create 3 âroomsâ â not disclosed in the listing, nor apparent in the pictures. The listing and pictures make it look like 3 separate bedrooms. Everyone can hear EVERYTHING, as sound just travels right over the walls. You can have a conversation with someone two âroomsâ over without raising your voice. If you turn on the lights in one room, they are effectively on for all.The last bedroom is in a converted garage behind the main building. The bed is among a washing machine and a dying refrigerator. This space could have been cool if it wasnât so janky. The pool table is missing a ball. No kitchen/dining table. You eat standing up or sitting on a ratty couch with plate in lap and drink on side table. The dining table in the pictures is in another building from the kitchen. No knives to cook with â only 1 butter knife and 1 steak knife.The microwaveâs handle is screwed on with deck screws, barely holding on.I wish I knew all this before renting. The people managing the place either donât know what theyâre doing, or they are trying to sell it as something itâs not. Itâs a tiny frat house, not a Bohemian Bungalow.
