VÄr "BlÄhÄl Bungalow" Àr lÀmpligt namngiven efter de migrerande spruthvalarna som kan ses frÄn de vackra, öppna stora rumsfönstren. Och Àven för det naturligt förekommande blÄhÄlet som bildas i den steniga kusten bara nÄgra kvarter frÄn huset.

Bara nÄgra kvarter i andra riktningen Àr en sandstrand för att leka, drakeflygning, tidvattenpool, utforska etc. Allt inom bekvÀmt gÄngavstÄnd.

Vi designade och hade Blowhole Bungalow byggd 2000 för att vara en vÀlkomnande, varm, bekvÀm och mysig flykt för vÄr familj. Det har varit vÄrt tillflyktsmÄl under alla Ärstider dÀr vi har samlat vÄra roliga och oförglömliga tider tillsammans, och vi litar pÄ att du kommer att finna det ocksÄ! Nu ingÄr 256k DSL WiFi!

We have always been happy with it and will probably stay there next time we go.We weren’t able to turn the shower on in the front bathroom and left a note. The recliners also need cleaning or replacing.Overall it was a great place.

The property is somewhat dated as are the house instructions. The fireplace and the outdoor trash can were ‘locked. It was functional for our group, and it just needs a bit of TLC. Location very good and as advertised.

This property is lovely and exceeded expectations. It is larger than I thought from the pictures and has great windows with views of the waves. Very clean and well equipped. One of the nicest rentals we've had. We hope to return.

The title says it all. The Blowhole Bungalow was a slice of heaven. The house was cozy, comfortable and clean; the location was ideal for us (a short walk to the beach and near several great restaurants but a little out of the way of the busy part of town) and we can't wait to get back.

Blowhole Bungalow

Blowhole Bungalow offered my husband and I (both who turn 80 this year) a beautiful, peaceful and inspiring retreat. Windows look out on a lovely, serene garden with the Ocean beyond, which reminded us a bit of our past vacations in Bali and Hawaii. A path leads through a garden gate into a lane leading directly down to the seaside road which has little traffic. On the walls of the house hang a number of moving and expressive woodcuts, and on side tables, a collection of finely painted colorful lighthouses. We had a difficulty checking in which was hard, but the property manager responded with utmost care and generosity, which touched us and rested our sense of upset over the event.

Blowhole Bungalow

Nice, but could use a few upgrades. We left a note for the homeowners and Odyssey Vacation Rentals. We hope the homeowner follows up on our suggestions. Linens such as sheets, towels, bedspreads, bath towels, kitchen towels, and throw pillows. The living room furniture is also looking a bit worse for wear. We know there are costs involved with owning a short term rental, but sometimes homeowners just need to do a little re-investing. Guests appreciate a home that looks like someone really takes pride in it and isn’t just throwing used furniture in it. The home itself is so cute and doesn’t need much to really be a great place to stay. We would love to return in a year or so to see how improved it is. Thanks for an easy reservation process, Odyssey.

Loved the home

Love the ptivacy and easy ocean drama walking along Yachats Ocean Drive. Why no cutting board in the kitchen? Shower head a little challenging for seniors — good pressure BUT sharp needle blast. Would still love to stay again and bring grandkids.
