Blåhål Bungalow - Bekvämt Yachats Hem

Vår "Blåhål Bungalow" är lämpligt namngiven efter de migrerande spruthvalarna som kan ses från de vackra, öppna stora rumsfönstren. Och även för det naturligt förekommande blåhålet som bildas i den steniga kusten bara några kvarter från huset.

Bara några kvarter i andra riktningen är en sandstrand för att leka, drakeflygning, tidvattenpool, utforska etc. Allt inom bekvämt gångavstånd.

Vi designade och hade Blowhole Bungalow byggd 2000 för att vara en välkomnande, varm, bekväm och mysig flykt för vår familj. Det har varit vårt tillflyktsmål under alla årstider där vi har samlat våra roliga och oförglömliga tider tillsammans, och vi litar på att du kommer att finna det också! Nu ingår 256k DSL WiFi!

Charming Family Beach House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Good but needs maintenance

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Have been coming here for several years. Love the location and house, but maintenance problems are increasing. Garage door doesn't work well, neither does the toaster, etc.

October stay

This property is lovely and exceeded expectations. It is larger than I thought from the pictures and has great windows with views of the waves. Very clean and well equipped. One of the nicest rentals we've had. We hope to return.

The title says it all. The Blowhole Bungalow was a slice of heaven. The house was cozy, comfortable and clean; the location was ideal for us (a short walk to the beach and near several great restaurants but a little out of the way of the busy part of town) and we can't wait to get back.

Beds were comfortable, even the pull out sofa in the den. Beach access was great, a block away and we went there every day.

The property is somewhat dated as are the house instructions. The fireplace and the outdoor trash can were ‘locked. It was functional for our group, and it just needs a bit of TLC. Location very good and as advertised.

Great Stay

We really liked this property. Great location and condition. There is a lot of space in the house and you can park your car in the garage. We liked it so much that we booked another week in September.

Great stay!

The view from this side of town is our favorite; the view from this home is delightful. This is a very family friendly property. It’s only a short walk to the beach house is very well equipped. I highly recommend.

Great place for an ocean getaway.

Really comfortable place to rest and rewind. Steps away from multiple views of the awesome power of the Pacific Ocean. A decent view of the ocean from the front room but better views within steps. This house is very well equipped and has multiple places to sit and have little groups.

A lovelyneighborhood. Great view of ocean and easy walk to it. House comfortable ,2 bedrooms with queen bed. One large pull out couch in den. Quick drive or walk into Yachats.

Great experience!

Loaction is great, a short walk to the beach, and to town. Loved the open space of the kitchen, dining room, and sitting room. The rec room perfect space for our grandkids to play in. Very clean and organized! We will come again!

Loved the home

Love the ptivacy and easy ocean drama walking along Yachats Ocean Drive. Why no cutting board in the kitchen? Shower head a little challenging for seniors — good pressure BUT sharp needle blast. Would still love to stay again and bring grandkids.

Blowhole Bungalow

Blowhole Bungalow offered my husband and I (both who turn 80 this year) a beautiful, peaceful and inspiring retreat. Windows look out on a lovely, serene garden with the Ocean beyond, which reminded us a bit of our past vacations in Bali and Hawaii. A path leads through a garden gate into a lane leading directly down to the seaside road which has little traffic. On the walls of the house hang a number of moving and expressive woodcuts, and on side tables, a collection of finely painted colorful lighthouses. We had a difficulty checking in which was hard, but the property manager responded with utmost care and generosity, which touched us and rested our sense of upset over the event.

The ocean is visible but there are some houses and greenery that surround it. Yachats is a great town. Also the garage is usable by the renter which is really nice.

Nice place, but needs better cleaning

It's a nice house, in good condition, in a great location. Air conditioning works well. But the kitchen in particular was not clean. The oven was kind of disgusting, we decided not to use it at all and instead took food over to another house to cook it. There were still coffee grounds in the coffee maker, and leftover coffee still in the coffee pot. There was something disgusting in a bathroom drawer.

Nice, but could use a few upgrades. We left a note for the homeowners and Odyssey Vacation Rentals. We hope the homeowner follows up on our suggestions. Linens such as sheets, towels, bedspreads, bath towels, kitchen towels, and throw pillows. The living room furniture is also looking a bit worse for wear. We know there are costs involved with owning a short term rental, but sometimes homeowners just need to do a little re-investing. Guests appreciate a home that looks like someone really takes pride in it and isn’t just throwing used furniture in it. The home itself is so cute and doesn’t need much to really be a great place to stay. We would love to return in a year or so to see how improved it is. Lovely cottage, strange rental policies

My husband and I had a fabulous visit to Yachats, where we stayed in Blowhole cottage for four nights. It is beautifully located very close to the ocean, w a lovely view out the huge picture window in the living room. It is roomy and comfortable and very clean, despite some carpeting tht should be replaced. The strange part included a statement on the welcome email w the keybox code. The rental company stated that they do NOT provide any paper supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, kleenex, or any personal soap for washing hands or showering. This struck me as very bizarre, as when one pays a price of $300 plus per night, one expects basic paper supplies to be included…and what vacationer doesn’t need to wash their hands and take a shower?! I called to inquire about this & was told that actually there WOULD be paper towels and toilet paper, & the rental person said he would also provide kleenex…but no soap other than for dishwashing or laundry. How weird! Every VRBO I have stayed in for years has included all paper products, including kleenex, plus soap, usually shampoo, & usually body lotion as well. It is a courtesy to provide these items & much less inconvenient for the rental company than for the renter! There were 3 large screen tvs in the cottage, w multiple remotes, but no directions as to how to use them. Frustrating. Asking renters to wash & dry towels before departure not okay. Still, nice cottage. Enjoyed Rummikub
