Clean, relaxing and peaceful! Front porch swing was our favorite place for drinking coffee and sitting in the evening. Hot tub was clean and worked great! Great value for the money and would definitely stay again if we're ever in the area again!

We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this home! The house was very nice, peaceful, and relaxing. The host was incredibly kind and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. They were also very accommodating and let us check in early, which we truly appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would gladly stay here again!

Overall rating 4/5 hot tub was clean and warm but had a lot of cleaning solution. Bed and pull out couch were super uncomfortable (personal opinion) and the pull out couch wasn’t very clean. Was given incorrect WiFi password, luckily we had sense to try what was on the router. Struggled to get tv in bedroom to work due to some guest mode and never received any assistance or response from owner, thankfully it started working. Loved the area and was extremely pet friendly. Had plenty of supplies for kitchen and bathroom and grilling . They Supplied games and an air mattress. Overall was a good experience.

A nice little hidden gem. Convenient location close to downtown without the hussle n bussle. Host was very responsive and the place was peaceful and quiet.

Such a beautiful spot to relax with a loved one for a night. The horses made a very nice touch to the scenery. We enjoyed the stream by the cabin and made it a very peaceful and pleasant morning.

Cozy Getaway

We stayed one night on our way out of Indy visiting friends. It was cozy and had everything we needed. We would love to plan a summer trip where family members can rent out other cabins and take advantage of the kayaking and outdoor area. A little ice maker would have been nice but obviously can live without Thank you for the stay!

The cabin is cute, the host was fine at first. But we had many issues and he wouldn't do anything about is so we only stayed 1 night. The water reeks of Sulphur, Both in the kitchen sink and shower. While showering, the toilet started to bubble. The hot tub was dirty and had some kind of oil in it. A film like baby oil. The 2nd time we used it. The hot tub kept turning off. I contacted the host. While that was going on, the toilet quit flushing. The host told me to flip the breaker on the hot tub. No, we shouldn't have to do that. Is that even safe? Then put drano down the toilet. Now it was after 9 pm. I told him we were leaving. No toilet was available through the night. We drove home at midnight. I contacted the host the next morning asking for a refund. All he will say is that he has to speak to his plumber. He accused me of putting something down the toilet that shouldn't be. Then he said they do not refund for a clogged toilet. It was way more than that. Broken, dirty hot tub, broken toilet. Sulphur smell and the grass was very tall and not mowed. He is not a premier host. I have stayed at many rentals and never left a bad review but this was ridiculous. All he keeps saying is wait for the plumber. Why? That is not my problem. The septic needs pumped. I am a farm girl, so this is not being a city person unaware of country life.

Peaceful Getaway

The cabin was nice and clean and just far enough to enjoy the true privacy of nature but not too far from the rush of the city life. The hot tub was a bonus being right outside of the bedroom. Spent some of the afternoon just enjoying the front porch swing and watching the wildlife. Got a visit from the resident cat and loved seeing the horses and donkeys right outside our window! Can’t wait to return!

I could not be happier with my stay at Ruby's Red Cabin! Everything was amazing. The cabin was perfect, so clean and with unexpected extras. Small things like having shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair ties, q-tips and cotton facial wipes, while not required, shows the attention to detail and the care they want to provide for their guests. The cabin inside and out was amazing. So nice and tastefully decorated. The bedding and mural in the bedroom make a very comfortable bed even more relaxing.The painted murals all around the property are so fun and so inviting. They provide everything you need in the cute, pink kitchen, as well as games and puzzles if you like.Loved spending time on the porch swing or by the fire pit while watching and listening to wildlife at the pond and the creek right next to the cabin. Enjoyed the hot tub while watching the sunset and moonrise. But the very best part was spending time in/with nature! The trail was such a beautiful walk. Seeing lots of wildlife, following and listening the creek, seeing the lovely habitat for the wildlife was so refreshing. And I just couldn't get enough of watching, listening to and even smelling the horses! When I began my search for a get-away cabin, little did I know that one existed with everything..literally EVERYTHING that I could hope for and much, much more. I also would like thank our host, Aaron. He answered all my questions so quickly and was always available if needed. Nature reconnected..mind,body spirit.

Broken and dirty cabin

I was so excited to share my 16th anniversary with my husband in this cozy cabin. I was ready to relax in the hot tub onsite and enjoy the next few days..well it was anything but relaxing! We arrive and i open the hot tub to green cloudy water, dead skin cells stuck to the side of the tub and a temperature of 67°! We contacted the "host" and told us to flip the breaker which we did more than once. Never did work.. went inside and put everything in the fridge, which had standing water at the bottom. The freezer wouldnt even shut or hold anything due to it being frosted completely over. I later decide to make dinner and i turned the heat on due to it being night time. The smoke alarm went off repeatedly whenever we used the dryer,oven or heater. At this point i just call it a night and go shower..well the drain does not drain and youre standing in old water, i cannot make this up. I go tp lay down in the bed and it stinks so bad, like an old sweaty baseball cap. All of it the sheets, blanket, pillows. No laundry detergent to wash the items so i slept in a hoodie and sweats. The next morning we left a day early i was just so annoyed with this place. I have contacted the host and even with pictures he is saying nothing is or was wrong with our cabin. Im beyond upset, im a pretty simple person but this was ridiculous and so unprofessional! I mean it was just one thing after another. We still havent heard from the host or a refund
