Relaxing 3 bedroom Country Home Retrea
This cheerful home is located on the family farm southeast of Muncie, IN. The guest house was once the home for the farm hand and his family. Located down a 1/4 mile tree lined lane this is a peaceful retreat located close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Just 10 minutes from downtown Muncie, 1 mile from the World Headquarters of the AMA, and 10 minutes from Prairie Creek Reservoir & the Cardinal Greenway. In 15 minutes you can be on the campus of Ball State University.
The space
This home is very private with only 1 other house near it, which is our home. Two private entrances are available to the home. This farmhouse is about 100 years old and has been in our family since the late 40's. Any house that is 100 years old has imperfections that gives it a unique feel and character. It is a very peaceful place.
On the 1st floor the living room. It contains a queen size sleeper sofa, Smart TV, small love seat and recliner that are perfect for relaxing or reading.
Also, there is a private bedroom with queen size bed, eat in kitchen, full bathroom and mud room with new washer and dryer, and 2nd sink on this level. The first floor has central AC and heat.
On the second level there is one bedroom that has a Queen sized bed. It has a window AC unit. The 2nd room on the level two is set up as a "Bonus Room". This room has a day bed with a twin sized mattress. A 2nd TV is located here.. This room would be great to use as a sleeping space for 1 person, or just a place to get away for a nap, read a book, make a private phone call, catch up on emails, or lay a child down for a nap away from others. This space can offer some flexibility for sleeping arrangements.
The front porch is a wonderful place to unwind and catch up at the end of your day. In the front yard there is an table and chairs with an umbrella for your out door enjoyment. There is also a big yard that is for your private use, with a gas grill, fire pit and chairs for cool evenings. Free firewood is available.
The driveway would allow for an RV to be parked there if needed and could easily handle 3 cars.

This home is located 2 miles outside Muncie and you will need a car to get around the area.
