About this space
Three-bedroom, two-bath, 2,000 sq ft lodge-style home on the side of a quiet canyon in semi-rural southwest Austin ideal for long term stays. Pet-friendly with a fenced yard and gorgeous views. Minutes away from restaurants, grocery stores, medical care and shopping in Lakeway. Master has a king bed. Guest bedrooms are set up for work from home as complete offices with guest beds.
Minimum 1 week rental with 15% off the nightly rate, 40% off for monthly stays and 50% off for 84 days or longer.
The space
Three-bedroom, two-bath, 2,000 square foot lodge style home on the side of a quiet canyon in semi-rural southwest Austin near Lakeway / Lake Travis.
Pet-friendly with gorgeous views and easy access to restaurants, grocery stores medical care and shopping. It is ideal for long-term stays and is set up for two people who work from home but can accommodate 3 guests. Please check weekly and monthly rates for substantial discounts.
Home is fully furnished with a commercial chef’s kitchen and open floor plan living/ dining area. The master bedroom has a king bed and the other two bedrooms are offices fully equipped with adjustable
sitting/standing desks and multiple monitors. Living area with cathedral ceiling and windows has home theater seating and a 72” Sony XBR with surround sound.
Pet-friendly with a large, fenced yard, stained concrete floors and a fenced back porch. Fully equipped with a washer and dryer, vacuum and normal
cleaning items.
Highlights
The master bedroom has a huge pass-through closet with built-in drawers that connect the master bedroom and bath to the laundry room. Master bath has a clawfoot tub, double vanity and large shower.
Both guest bedrooms have been converted into office spaces.
One office has an adjustable sitting/standing desk with three, 27” monitors and a day bed for guests.
The other office has a sitting/standing desk, two, 24” monitors a black and white laser printer/flatbed scanner, a large whiteboard and a small couch with a convertible bed for guests.
The guest bath features a large shower and linen storage.
The chef’s kitchen features a commercial Kitchen-Aid propane double oven with a 6-burner stove top and a microwave. Coffee station has a Keurig, a Cuisinart coffee maker, an electric kettle and a French press.
Kitchen has granite countertops and a sealed hardwood center island with ample area for meal preparation and presentation. It also features a dishwasher and a side-by-side commercial refrigerator and freezer. It is equipped with most of the pots, pans, and cooking utensils needed to prepare anything from morning toast to a holiday feast.
Home has AT&T Wi-Fi with basic cable channels on three TVs; the main home theater in the living room, a large TV in the master bedroom and a smaller panel in one of the offices. Due to the location it also has
stand-by broadband service from Spectrum that can be activated in less than one day in the unlikely event of a prolonged outage.
Important things to know
House has washer/ dryer and ironing board. We also have a small selection of tools and have available spare light bulbs etc. for routine minor issues that may arise.
Pets
We ask that your pets are housebroken and have two crates available if needed that will fit dogs under 20 pounds. The fenced yard has a low fence about 4 feet tall that is best for smaller dogs or well- behaved large dogs. We have throw blankets in most of the rooms and ask that the blankets be used if the pets are on the furniture. We have two smaller dogs and are diligent about making sure the fence is sound.
The home has outdoor parking for two cars and can accommodate a 3rd car for guests on a limited basis.
Full transparency
We have an apartment above the detached garage on the property about 200 feet away. We only accept guests with the same standards as those occupying the main house. We have had guests in the apartment for as long as year at a time while we lived in the main house and we have never had an issue.
Maintenance
We have worked to proactively maintain the property, but if issues do arise we have a maintenance person who lives 5 minutes away and
comprehensive home warranty for larger issues.

We are not an professional management company or real estate investors. This is our home part of the year. As such we have tried to make it as turn-key and comfortable as possible.
The house is set up for two adults and optimized for working from home. We are on great terms with our neighbors who have grown to expect a quiet existence. If you need a quiet place to live and work with amazing views, an occasional deer in the canyon off the back porch and the sounds of coyotes at night, you will love our house. If you need a place to have parties and multiple guests for extended stays, this home is probably not a fit.
Please do not hesitate to message us with any questions. We have worked hard to make sure our home is a great place to live for our guests and have been Superhosts on another platform for over 8 years by providing great experiences and being very transparent and above board in our descriptions and exceeding guest expectations.

You will have full access to the home except for a 3'x4' closet in Office/guest bedroom used for supplies.
Other things to note
The home has many small amenities like tools, office supplies including a laser printer and high quality kitchen utensils not often found in AirBnbs. We ask that our guests be as considerate of our home as you would your own.
We have pets and we understand that accidents can happen with them. The home is comfortably furnished but with pets in mind, so if your dog decides that a dining room chair leg makes a good chew toy, please just let us know and we will find another one from the local furniture consignment store for a reasonable price.
