You will have access to the entire suite with a private entrance. Please note: This suite is attached to the main home that is rented separately. There is also a cottage in the backyard that is rented separately.

The backyard is a shared space amongst the main home, suite, and cottage rentals.

Street parking ONLY. There are two spaces available directly across the street from the home. (please see listed photos) Do not park in front of any curbs painted yellow, or you may be towed. Additional overflow parking will be available by request.

Please be sure to park in the non painted space shown in the photos and lock your vehicle. Heartwood is not responsible for any parking tickets, towing costs, vehicle damage, or stolen items.

Driveway parking is permitted for the main house rental ONLY.

The max guest count is 2. There is a sleeper sofa if needed.

Cozy spot

Great quiet spot for a short stay in Shandon. Just like in the description. Although it's obvious once you know, a photo of the actual door to enter would have been helpful for checking in.

Looks can be deceiving

My rental was not in the cute house shown in the picture. It was in a glorified shed behind the house. There was no electrical outlet in the bathroom. The host was unresponsive. I left early it was so bad.

Unacceptable Accommodations

Rented the small MIL unit attached at the back of the main house during a temp work assignment. Upon checking in, the door code did not work. CS did a great job of answering and getting me in after hours. However, I had to call several more times during my 3 week stay to have the code reset. There was not adequate heat in the unit, the breaker kept tripping, I had to enter the main house one night, find the basement, and flip the breaker to get power back. Electrical outlet in the bedroom got so hot I couldn't leave my phone charger plugged in that receptable. There are no smoke detectors which is mandated by the municipality for rental properties. Couch is filthy and smells like human urine. Bedding had fresh blood stains, and the amount of mold in the unit is absolutely unacceptable. Neighborhood is safe and quiet, but parking is not as represented. There are two available spots at the curb that have to be carefully negotiated with the neighbors. Unfortunately, I am not able to upload photos of the mold condition to protect prospective renters.
