Welcome to Dune Swell! THIS is island living, just steps from the ocean! Relax at the heart of the island. Buxton is centrally located between all of the best spots to kiteboard, wind surf, fish, beach access, surf, paddleboard, walk, hike, and bike.
Convenient, family sized living all on 1 floor, literally a 60 second walk to Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Prefer kite sailing? We are less than a 2 minute drive to Canadian Hole. How about Surfing? We are walking distance. Fishing? We are minutes from some of the Worldâs most amazing fishing at the Point.
Our cottage is only a minuteâs walk to Buxton's iconic Beach District where you will find several excellent restaurants, Hatteras Lighthouse & National Park, fishing & tackle shops, eclectic local shops, convenience stores, ice cream & mini-golf.
The area is safe, quiet, and is excellent for those looking for a retreat, with the fun and adventure Cape Hatteras offers only steps away!
Relax, weâve prepared our cottage with all the essentials youâll need. Well behaved domesticated pets are always welcome. We provide all linens and towels for a worry free stay.
THE SPACE
Dune Swell is a large 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom cottage on the 1st floor with an enclosed screened front deck. Itâs perfect for a family of 5 looking to enjoy Hatteras without breaking the bank!

- Master bathroom with private sink & toilet
- 2nd bedroom has queen bed & twin bunkbeds with 50â tv

- Dining table & breakfast bar with seating
- Washer & dryer in condo (next to bathroom)
- 2 parking spots directly in front of the house
