Trevlig lägenhet. Trail. Separat post / parkering. Fantastisk utsikt - titta på norrsken. Quiet & avskilt men ändå nära till stan. En bra plats att slappna av efter en hård dags spel! Säker plats för barn och husdjur att leka. Backs till en park. Alaska drömmen!

Lägenheten ligger i ett mycket trevligt område Anchorage - Stuckagain Heights. Husen är utspridda (1 hektar mycket) och området är träda. Den har 360 graders utsikt över inloppet, Denali, stadsljus och berg. Du kan se Denali från övre däck; Det är här bilden av Denali Peak togs.

För att nå fastigheten, stäng av Tudor (en huvudartär) på Campbell Strip Rd vid Botaniska trädgården, och resa 4 miles genom skogskogsområdet Far West Bicentennial Park till avskild grannskap. Det finns inga korsvägar - endast trailheads. Det är en vacker enhet - men ändå i Anchorage! Enkel åtkomst till alla Anchorage och Alaska har att erbjuda!

Lägenheten är 1350 kvadratfot, med två rum. Sovrummet har en king size-säng, tv, köksskåp, skrivbord, night stands och stor garderob. Den stora "stora rummet" har ett skrivbord, komplett kök med bardisk, filtrerat vatten / is från hela sida vid sida kylskåp, diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn, spis och skafferi. Köket har allt som behövs för matlagning (t.ex. grytor, pannor, bageri, kaffekanna, bestick, tallrikar, mixer, mixer, crockpot, etc.). Det finns köksbord, soffa, loveseat, stol, queen size bäddsoffa, skrivbord, stor tv, frukost barstolar och öppen spis. En extra full-size säng kan läggas till, om det behövs. Det finns en full storlek tvättmaskin och torktumlare och 3/4 badrum (dusch). Skålen tv och internet tillhandahålls. Det finns också en stor klädkammare utanför vardagsrummet. Alla sängkläder ingår som schampo, balsam, kroppsvask, kroppsåp, lotion, tvättmedel, torktumlare och diskmaskin / diskmedel.

Gästerna har egen uteplats med utemöbler och gasgrill och tillgång till bakgården - vandring, längdskidåkning och cyklar från fastigheten. Det finns många trailheads längs vägen och militära mark finns att vandra på, men ett pass behövs. Dessa spår får inte användas andra förankringsspår gör - de flesta gånger kommer du inte se någon annan.

Kom ihåg att det finns björn, älg, lynx och andra vilda djur i området.

Out away from city

Our first visit to Alaska. We enjoyed where we stayed as it fit our lifestyle. Out away from the city we saw moose 3 different times just driving to/from our our place. Plenty of nice hiking areas nearby and easy access driving north to Denali or south to Whittier and Seward. Had a very good time.

Nice place

The unit was very spacious. The kitchen was well stocked. The only problem was the furniture the double recliner was unusable and the single recliner did not function well.

Quiet but convenient

It was easy to get to and from the house from everywhere we wanted to visit, was located in a quiet neighborhood, snd had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.

Authentic Alaskan Experience

My husband and I thoroughly loved the roominess, all the little details of home were available and plentiful. The Host Ronni was great and she's on site. The location is not for everyone (a little off the beaten path) but not that far out from amenties. The views from the upper deck cannot be beat. Her puppy was great entertainment! Only thing that needs addressing is perhaps some new furniture (one broken piece) but everything else was fantastic! We would like to Thank Ronni for a wonderful experience and memories!

Comfy and quiet

This property was just what we were looking for. It was very clean inside. Outside the patio and walkway we're a bit obstructed by overgrown bushes. The livingroom couch was damaged by a previous renter and we were told they didn't have time to replace it. Also the blinds over the patio door were broken and the patio door was cracked. These things didn't take away from what we felt was a really good choice for us. The hosts were wonderful. They live above the rental but we never heard them. They left for a vacation and at that point their dog barked constantly starting at about 4:00AM. That wasn't ideal. Good thing it was our last day there.

Good "Home Base" for Area Day Trips

We stayed at this property for 5 nights. We were looking for a centrally located apartment that would give us lots of room to spread out for the length of our stay. We had planned to take a number of day trips about 1-2 hours away so the location was ideal. Loved the amount of space - bedroom, kitchen, couch/TV viewing area. Perfect. After a long day it felt very good to come back to this apartment. The washer/dryer came in handy. We also used the outdoor grill a couple of times (however the propane ran out so I would suggest checking levels before your next guest arrives). We were disappointed in the outdoor space, specifically the view. The deck itself and the table/seating were very good. We enjoyed sitting outside each night with wine/food. But we were under the impression we would have a view of the backyard with hopes of watching wildlife emerging from the trees. Instead, there is a high fence that wraps around the apartment space blocking any such view. Driving through the park each day was pleasant. We were close to Fred Myers and Carrs Groceries. Downtown Anchorage was about 15-20 minutes by car. We would recommend this location if you need a "base" to launch off of for your daily activities. Good location to downtown Anchorage, Turnagain Arm, Hatcher Pass, Palmer, Portage.

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Basher Apartment. It was extremely clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything that we needed for our occasional cooking needs. Pictures really don’t show just how spacious the unit is. Communications with Sean and Ronni were always quick and accurate. We hope to stay with them again on a future trip to the beautiful state of Alaska!

Beautiful location, Friendly, fully appointed and large property

Ronnie and Shaun were exceptional hosts. They met us on arrival, showed us all the kitchen stocked items which included everything one would need to cook. The property includes a washer/dryer to help for for longer stays. It’s a large place with big living room, kitchen, and bedroom. The location was in the foothills around anchorage with beautiful views and plants, trees and flowers. We hope to return and stay with them. Stay here - you will love the owners and the experience!

Nine days in Anchorage

We enjoyed staying in this apartment. It is spacious and is located in a quiet neighborhood outside of Anchorage. We had several day trips planned. It was so nice to have a comfortable place to relax in the evenings. Thanks for the stay.

Good Home Base

This is a good home base for all the activities you’re probably going to do. It’s no frills, but clean and comfortable, sleep, eat, and shower there and go out and enjoy Alaska. Neighborhood is quiet and easy to find.

Come stay here!

We stayed for 2 weeks to celebrate our 40th anniversary. It was wonderful! Kitchen is well appointed, living room furniture very comfy, king sized bed heavenly. It is on the outskirts of Anchorage so very quiet but an easy drive into town. There are no views from the unit itself as it is on the lower level but pop upstairs to the deck- spectacular! Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Easy Access

The layout of the apartment was excellent, it enabled my husband and I to work east coast hours without interrupting each other. We loved having the laundry and the grill for our nightly cookouts. We were able to access lots of hiking trails around the Anchorage/Eagle River area during the week. The area has lots of wildlife and in September the colors were just beautiful! The owners were excellent, we loved having the opportunity to visit with the dogs. We were able to access alot of Alaska from this home, Denali - Fairbanks, Seward, Whitier, Homer, Juneau, Katmai, etc.

Perfect, Peaceful, Matilda

The place had everything you need for a great restful stay, Ronnie and Sean are awesome hosts. They are outside of the city in a wonderful area, but close to anywhere you want to go. The place is clean and well cared for, Ronnie and Sean take pride in giving you a wonderful experience. Upon checking in, Ronnie told us about the bear and the moose who come around on a regular basis, she has been coming for years and Ronnie named her Matilda. Our last morning as we were getting ready to leave, Matilda stopped by to graze for breakfast. We got great pictures and Matilda even came close to check us out, we did have a 6 ft fence between us, but that is a close as you can possibly get to wildlife and be safe, a lifetime memory. Stay hear while visiting Anchorage, maybe you will get to meet Matilda.

Wonderful stay

We had a fantastic 5 night stay at this property. Literally everything we could have needed for our family of 4. The home is in a beautiful area, close to the city yet surrounded by nature and wildlife. Ronni and Shawn are wonderful hosts and shared some great recommendations. Highly recommend this property.

Awesome Getaway

Place is perfect! Owners are very nice and we felt at home from the very first minute. Drive up to house is beautiful and peaceful. Saw some wildlife up close. Wish we were staying longer. Highly recommend and will be staying again.

Fantastic Location

We truly enjoyed our stay at this home. Not far from the city but far enough to see lots and lots of animals. Everything was as advertised, plus, plus. Ronni and Sean were fantastic hosts and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great time!

Great location

We enjoyed our stay at the Basher property. The apartment was nicely stocked and comfortable. We saw moose on several of our drives to the house, and once we even saw a black bear.

Perfect location to experience Alaska

Ronnie and Shawn were GREAT. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. They were super helpful and even went above and beyond to make sure the stay was accommodating for my mother who uses a walker. They made sure all our needs were met and that our stay was comfortable. The view from the uper deck is breathtaking and the drive up and down the mountain was wonderful,full of wildlife. It was more then we had expected. I go to Alaska each year to visit family and this will definitely be where I book for my visits. Sharon and Shirley

Wonderful location, nice apartment

The drive to the apartment is beautiful. The basement apartment is very roomy with plenty of accommodations to cook in if you want. The hosts were very polite and helpful. I definitely recommend staying here!
