Njut av lugnet i en privat tillflyktsort. Sunset Nook Cottage ligger trevligt på en vacker, jämn del med över 300 fot vid vattnet i en avskild vik. På morgonen kan du njuta av ditt kaffe på den soliga verandan eller gå till kaféet i stan. Släpp en linje i vattnet från bryggan eller från en av två tillgängliga kajaker för fångsten tidigt på morgonen. Välj mellan en av tre prisbelönta golfbanor för ditt "hål i ett", medan din fru tycker om det lokala spaet. Slösa inte en minut av din sjötid, kasta dina klubbar i båt och motor till din golfbana! Därefter, Waterski tillbaka till din stuga. Starta din grill för "fångst" från dagen och koppla av med en iskald dryck på din privata uteplats. Eller ta en picknick till stranden. Men först lugna dina muskler i din bubbelbadkar. Efter middagen kan du ta familjen till parken eller cykla. We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed sitting on the porch taking in the beautiful view. The house had everything we needed and is well placed to walk around the town. Great AC. The house was thoughtfully decorated which made for a delightful atmosphere.

Wonderful location and accommodation

We spent several days at the Sunset Nook Cottage, our second stay in as many years. It is quiet, well-maintained and has all one would need for a short respite. A major advantage is that the village of Green Lake is within walking distance, including shops, restaurants, and other interesting things.

Wonderful vacation

We had a wonderful short vacation at this property. The location is quiet, yet within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We found the property to be clean and well maintained and communication to be courteous and accurate. We definitely recommend the Sunset Nook Cottage!

A Slice of Heaven on Green Lake

The charming lake front cottage had everything we needed and more. Comfy beds, well stocked, clean. But the lake front setting was just what I hahoped for. Perfect place for early morning coffee, enjoying the quiet and watching the fish jump.

We were stunned at how spotless and luxurious the home was. The owner had the home stocked with literally everything we could have wanted or needed, and it looked brand new. We will be back!

Short trip to Green Lake

The property inside is great and feels like home. Faith is one of the best VBRO host I have stayed at. Everything you need, well stocked kitchen, games, nice towels, and well appointed furnishings. The location was great and can walk into town. Unfortunately we picked the rainiest weekend to visit the area and only took advantage of being on the water a short time so if you have rainy days this a great spot to stay in for all the games and comforts of home.

Cute little place

Fireplace was excellent and bed in the main bedroom very comfortable. Very small washer and dryer, as well as a very small water heater. Could only fill the jacuzzi bathtub halfway because the water got cold. Kitchen was nice and even had a sconce baking kit all ready to make. It's great for 2 people, maybe 4, but that would be pushing it. Parking isn't great and only way to get out is driving backwards for about half a block. It's quite small, but a cute little place.

Wonderful cottage

We found the cottage to be even more beautiful than expected. When I first walked through the door, I was so overwhelmed that it brought tears to my eyes. Faith has thought of everything and their was nothing we lacked during our stay. We enjoyed looking out at the waterfowl on the beautiful lake from the dining room table when we got up in the morning and watched the beautiful sunsets each night. Having a canoe to paddle around in was wonderful as well. We felt so relaxed at the end of our stay that we felt a bit sad to leave and return to the grind of work. This has to have been one of our best vacations ever.

Staying in Green Lake for EAA

The cottage was just as described - very clean and ready to go. The only drawback (which I knew could be an issue when I booked) was the cottage only have one bathroom. We were tired of juggling one bathroom pretty quickly. It was stand alone (not attached to a bedroom) as well. Other than this we would definitely consider this property again. I was caught off guard by the last minute rental agreement - it was a pain to try and access as this rental was in the middle of our vacation and I was already away from reliable internet access. This could have been avoided if the documents were provided much earlier. Other than this hiccup the owner was very responsive.

Comfy

We just returned from our wonderful week vacation. We took our 7 year old daughter who was beyond excited to sleep in that bunk bed and our (terrible) two year old son. We went to the big shady park that is a super duper short hop skip and jump away every morning. We enjoyed the lake in the afternoon and even Wisconsin Dells one day. The house was so clean and comfortable. Faith has thought of everything! All of the comforts of home are an understatement. It did not feel like a rental cottage at all but more like a friend's house. We definitely hope to return!

Sunset Nook

House was just as advertised....Modern, tastefully decorated with all the amenities of home. Clean and well maintained. Owner was helpful with suggestions for restaurants, had a little goodie basket for us and was very accommodating. Would definitely return and refer friends and family. We ate breakfast and window shopped in Princeton, checked out the historic Victorians in Berlin, sunbathed at Hattie Sherwood, rented a pontoon from Action Marina, fished with Tim, owner of Reel Em In fishing guide service (took home 10 walleye), rode our bikes and took nice walks. Ate at just about every local restaurant(I cook at home!)...enjoyed the pizza at Goose Blind, iced coffee at Sugar Lips, ice cream at Action Marina and the little ice cream shop down the road from Action Marina(can't remember the name...) and a nice dinner overlooking the lake at Nortons. Even my 13 year old daughter enjoyed the get away. Very relaxing way to enjoy the end of summer.

Serenity and Spectacular Sunsets

Serenity, Peaceful, Relaxing and a Recharge on my batteries! This place is amazing! It looks exactly like the pictures; one of the most spectacular points is the sunsets, and wildlife in this picturesque bay on Big Green Lake. I barely left to sight see the place is so spectacular, the entire time I was there! A blender, a book and a fishing pole...what more do you need? The layout of the house is really nice as we a girl’s week, and I was fortunate enough to spent two days by myself. The house was big enough for 6 to feel comfortable, but small enough that I didn't feel lost when I was alone. The house is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Pretty much everything you need is within walking distance, just a short walk through the park to downtown shops, restaurants, tennis courts and beach. We brought our kayaks for additional exercise; the place is located at the end of Gold Street, quaint and quite. It was by far our pot of gold at the end of the “Rainbow” Looking at the pictures now reminds me of how much I want to go back!

Relax, relax, relax.....

This home is all the others have said and more! The minute we walked in the front door, we were in love with it! What a true treasure it is. We have rented homes across the country before but I can honestly say this is the only place we have ever rented that felt like you were staying at home, or at the home of a close friend. My huband and I were with our children (16,14,10) and my brother-in-law with his son (8). I was afraid of being squished but it worked out perfectly with them sharing the pull-out. There are so many things about this home I could rave about, I'll try to cut it down! The decorating of the house is gorgeous. The fact that the lake is literally at your back door is awesome. The kids and dads rolled out of bed each morning and went fishing in the canoe they proveded. I sat on that amazing back porch and read my book ALL week! Location to town couldn't be better. You can walk to almost everything. We even brought our bikes and drove to the beach a few times (also, tennis courts across main street). But to me, the most important thing in a rental is cleanliness. I don't want to spend money and have my kids walk around a dirty floor. This place is spotless! When I went to bed every night, I commented on how I felt like I was in my own home. Clean new sheets, comforters, towels, etc..... Needless to say, if you're looking for a place to kick back and unwind, you'll have a tough time finding a place a peaceful and beautiful as this one. Thanks, Faith, for opening up your lovely home to us!! :)

Great summer stay for our small family!

Great property! No issues, very clean, great location, simple check-in, and easy checkout! We enjoyed watching the ducks come and go from the backyard, and the park next door was a big hit with our son. We hope to be back soon!!

Excellent cottage stay within walking distance to downtown. Accommodations were well stocked with everything you possibly need and more. Dining options limited early in the week. Highly recommended.

Relaxing Green Lake Stay

The property was set up with nearly everything you would need. A fully stocked kitchen with more dishes and cookware we have ever seen in a rental unit. Basic cooking essentials like spices and oils. The open concept was great. Back porch was great for sitting and watching the sunset and just relaxing overlooking the bay.

Nice small house

My friends and I had a great time. Even though the place is surrounded by other properties, the back yard allows some privacy. The house was clean and contained everything we needed. The requirements for check out were easy.

Senior Sister get away.

Beautiful spot, awesome accommodations. High end soaps etc. We had everything we needed. A hose in the back yard would be excellent to spray off after Kayaking. Close to “down town”. Loved it !
