Wonderful place in a perfect location

We had a fantastic time in New York, largely thanks to this apartment and the smooth, friendly communication with the host. The location is absolutely perfect — right in the middle of the action, with shops, restaurants, and public transport just around the corner. The apartment itself is a bit dated and shows some wear, but it is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. We would happily stay here again!

Perfect for family gatherings & great location!

Our son was graduating from law school so we had a big family event. Seven of us stayed at this townhome and three of them were over age 75 and never been to NY. We got so lucky by all of us being together and having other out of town visitors to come and celebrate in a home away from home. The host checked in on us right away to make sure we got in okay. Since there is a code access, it was very helpful for others staying to access when needed. Our first night we didn't realize how hot it would be so we messaged the host and they almost immediately came to install the window air conditioners which were probably not needed previously. The communication with the host was top notch and so kind. If you're looking for a large family group place to stay in a wonderful location, this is it. The only downfall is that, like many NY places, there are a few flights of stairs to enter the property. Thank you so much for your making our memories together so great and for your excellent responsiveness.

Great location

The space was perfect for our group and the location was great! Walking distance to everything we needed. Didn’t realize it had a patio and that was so nice to sit and enjoy time outside talking.

It's very very dirty

The apartment is very spacious and has a lot of rooms. Unfortunately, it was very dirty. The sofa and all the chairs were not as depicted in the images—they had large stains everywhere. Additionally, someone before us left pizza slices in the oven, which had not been removed, and we didn’t want to touch them. It’s a shame because the location in Manhattan is very central.

Great location in Manhattan

An unbeatable location, with all kinds of food stores and restaurants nearby. The place is spacious but a bit neglected. It needs more cleaning, a lot of accumulated dust which is bad for allergies. Torya was very attentive at all times. Recommended

Great location

The location is amazing! Host was very easy to communicate with and the apartment is very clean. The living area is a good place to hang out. There are a few flight of steps to get up to the Living area which is important to know. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

NY Family Getaway

Great experience at this spacious and well located townhome. Very convenient to everything. Good communication with host. The apartment is not fancy but it is spacious and has everything you need. Worked very well for our large family group.

Huge Apartment!

Overall we had a great stay! The place was very big, and was able to fit our family of 7. The host was very responsive and answered us very quickly which was nice. Early check-in and late check-out were only available for a fee.

Great Location!

We had a wonderful time, such a perfect location. The host was really great to communicate with. Getting up the stairs with luggage was a challenge, we shouldn't have packed so much! But, it was very comfortable for all of us and we highly recommend!

Great location in Manhattan

Great location near Central Park and a few subway stations. Comfortable and spacious apartment. There were 7 of us and we had no issues getting ready to go out each day. Just know that there are a lot of stairs. I would recommend this for anyone staying in Manhattan. Thanks.

Family stay in NYC

I find this property a little hard to review. The space was great and I was happy with the cleanliness. The location is perfect and seems very safe (as did all of New York).There are a few things that could definitely do with an upgrade but that was ok.Main negatives were that the wifi and tv didn’t work for the first 4 days and the heating didn’t work until day 5. When the heating was finally fixed it was so hot and very noisy in the main bedroom that it was impossible to sleep. If it is possible to turn it off, that would be good.On the most part we were happy with this property. Just also be aware that there are a lot of stairs.

Great spot in Midtown

We stayed here for a weekend celebrating my sister-in-law’s birthday, and were able to fit our whole group of 7 very comfortably! It’s a great location close to the subway. I was worried about noise because of the location, but we slept soundly every night. The host was very responsive and communication was excellent. We definitely enjoyed our stay! The only thing that was a bit unfortunate was that the front entrance appears to be a sort of dumping ground, which is obviously not something the host can control.

NY family trip

with a little effort, this property could be MUCH more user friendly. No where to put luggage except on the floor - luggage racks would be nice. No space in 2 of the rooms to put luggage at all and close the doors. No trash cans in 2 of the bathrooms. TV in main area never worked. No Remote for TV in primary bedroom. And...there are 3 flights of stairs to access the property - worked for us, but might not for many. Lovely space that just needs a little love.

Very unsatisfactory

Description of the apartment was not realistic. Walls, bathrooms, general forniture quite dirty but most of all the entire apartment had no general heating. Management was not taking care of this issue in spite of our several emails and even VRBO did not provide us assistance. Very frustrating.

Disgusting, horrible, very bad owner.

All the unit was disgusting, they were like 50 stairs to get into the condo, the personal enters as they wish, the owner is a real pain, they even invented that we damage the unit and charge me $400 more. Real disgusting, horrible experience

We were really disappointed with our stay. Our host had given our reservation away to another family and so we stayed at this location instead. While the accommodations are spacious, the property condition is poor. Towel racks and toilet paper rolls were missing. There were stains on the bed sheets. There was trash in the freezer and none of the TV remotes worked. The location of the property is great as you can get to the subway within a couple of blocks. But we were frustrated since where we were planning to stay was no longer available and didn’t know until we got into the unit and saw another family.

Great location but not clean

While the townhome's accommodations were accurately described in the listing, we had several concerns worth mentioning to potential renters. Upon arrival, we found human feces at the front entry. The cleaners were still getting the place ready so we went to the pub close by to wait. Once getting into the place, it seemed only the bare minimum had been completed by the cleaners. I'm not sure when the last time the host has visited the townhome but I would have to say that it is unsanitary, coupled with safety hazards. It was warm enough during our stay to need the air conditioning units which did not appear to have been cleaned for a very long time. The filters were completely full and when turned on, debris was blown throughout the rooms. One unit wouldn't work at all until we cleaned out the vents. We did not witness any signs of deep cleaning throughout the townhome. I would think Vrbo would have higher standards for their rentals. If cleanliness is not a concern for you, the location was great and close to subway stations. Very roomy compared to hotel rooms you would find -however, the stairs would not be good for someone with physical constraints. If the place had some necessary updates and was thoroughly cleaned/sanitized regularly, then yes, we might consider staying there again. But not likely.

Estadía New York

Ubicación excelente; calefacción fija sin termostato; no tienen aire frío si te tocan temperaturas altas. Con gente mayor es difícil , hay que subir casi 3 pisos de escalas. El resto muy bueno siempre.

Las fotos una cosa, la casa otra

Nos cambiaron la dirección un día antes de la llegada. Llegamos y no podíamos abrir y nadie vino a ayudarnos, nos dejaron en la calle durante tres horas lloviendo. Al final abrimos al ver que la puerta estaba hinchada y la cerradura no giraba. Entramos y ve tu Estaba sucia, éramos diez y faltaban muebles, cubiertos y platos. Al pedirlos trajeron vajilla y cubiertos pero no sillas. Los baños deteriorados. Los armarios llenos de sábanas, toallas, aparatos de aire etc..

Super Lage aber in die Jahre gekommen

Die Lage ist super. Die Betreuung des Hoste ist super, hat alles perfekt geklappt. Viele Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe. Es hat viel Platz und reicht absolut um sich für den nächsten Tag in der Stadt auszuruhen. Es ist jedoch alles sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Inventar ist sehr abgenutzt und fällt teils auseinander. Sehr schade ist auch, das auf der Terrasse keine Möbel stehen um dort zu verweilen. Ein absoluter Minuspunk ist der Lärm. Den Strassenlärm hört man extrem.
