Great location but lacking in cleanliness

The location was great but the house could have been cleaner. The comforter on the bed was dirty so we washed an extra blanket and used that. The two chairs in the "TV room" had loose dirt and were visibly stained so we used the throw blankets to cover them. The kitchen and bathroom were decently clean. It was very quiet with lots of privacy. We used this as "home base" to explore the national parks in the area. Overall, good stay.

Peaceful Getaway with Great Stargazing

The stay at this cozy little place was just what we needed to escape the city. The location strikes the perfect balance, close enough to town for convenience, yet tucked away in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We loved the nearby hike to see real dinosaur tracks, and the backyard was ideal for stargazing at night.The cabin itself is small but charming, with all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The only suggestions we’d offer are that the memory foam mattress felt a bit worn and it would be even better if the fenced yard were a little larger for pets.All in all, it was a great experience with excellent communication and an accurate listing. We’d definitely return.

It was nice.....but...

The bathroom sink didn't drain. Needs a plumber. The kitchen hood was not completely installed so sawdust and insulation blew into the kitchen and on our food. The kitchen really needs a small island. The bed was lumpy. Not great overall....

Dog friendly. Close to Kanab. Close to many places. Lee was very helpful. The entrance to the property is a little steep. Also the sign to enter the property is very small. The view is beautiful.

Largely as advertised

Nice Little Place summarizes the rental unit. It was clean and functionally equipped. The bed was comfortable. The views from the property were gorgeous. Some minor caveats: it isn’t secluded; the neighbors property is close enough to be annoyed by their barking dog. The kitchen and bathroom walls do not reach the ceiling meaning that one hears everything that occurs in those spaces. The blinds in the bedroom do not rise thereby spoiling the views. Finally, the two lounge chairs and footrests were visibly stained. I list these to help other renters in making their decision. We remain glad that we stayed there.

Absolutely lovely stay

We genuinely loved this getaway. It felt isolated yet so close to the nearby town. The biggest thing we struggled with what honestly just the bed. We sunk into the memory foam mattress topper and after several nights, our backs have been pretty sore. We would love to stay here again and hopefully there might be a different topper. But other than that we enjoyed everything else!

Perfect get away home for 2 people and our dog. Sits back off street and fenced. Great neighborhood to walk dog and close enough to town for all our needs.

Pleasant stay

Clean and relaxing. Some difficult footing from parking to entrance. Not as secluded as expected. Overall, comfortable and is a great location for visiting southern utah parks and sights.

Southern Utah getaway

My wife and I are doing the mighty 5 (plus north rim of the Grand Canyon). This place was a great home base for getting to zion and Grand Canyon. The listing is accurately named “nice little place” and comes as described, very well kept. The kitchen has all cookware essentials, just make sure to bring any spices you might want if you plan on cooking. There is a ton to do in this region and we barely scraped the surface, make sure you give yourself enough time.

Beautiful location and comfortable stay

After several weeks of travel it was wonderful to "get grounded" in a natural environment before heading back to a metropolis. Hosts, Jeff & Heather, were great with quick communication. The home had anything I could think I might need, including a comfy chair to watch the sun come up each morning with a cup of coffee. The surrounding area is lovely to explore. This really is a nice little place! Looking forward to my next visit already. Thank you.

Perfect

This was our first time staying at a Vrbo and it didn't disappoint. It was quiet and cozy. We had everything we needed. We brought our golden retriever with us. They had a dog bed and water bowl under a shady tree. Loved the landscaping, cacti were in bloom. I would definitely recommend Nice Little Place to our couple friends who want to stay in Kanab.

Nice little place

Quiet and tranquil area with beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Little garden shows care and maintenance to enjoy. 5 minutes to center for stores and restaurants. Excellent location to go Zion, Bryce, Buckskin and several other great hiking areas.

Zion/Bryce Trip

We enjoyed our stay. The house truly was a nice little place. It was secluded with a beautiful view. It was easy to get to the different places were wanted to go. Jeff was easy to get in contact with when we thought we needed information, which we found out was provided on a sheet of paper on the refrigerator. Our dog loved sitting outside on the porch. She would sit on the front porch and stare in at us. We saw deer and bunnies. There were all the pans and dishes we needed, we even did our laundry and took home clean clothes which saved us time when we got home. It was a great week and a wonderful place. Thank you
