Just us 2

House has the beach and vacation vibe. Spacious, comfortable, the stocking of the kitchen gets a 10. Personal thing - master bed is very firm. Wife had no issue with it but for me...too hard. On-line pictures...a big reason I rented was the steps down to the canal. Great location and plan was to kayak to the beach. I didn't know about the tides, so the water was only up high enough a few hours a day. There is a ladder. Homes are now built across the canal so those morning sunrises and ocean view are not the same. The guest bedroom tub has lived a useful life. The rust around the drain and outside the tube along with a faucet that feels like it might break all lead to replacement. At night having a heated pool was a big plus and worth every penny of that 100 upcharge. Overall...I love visiting the Keys and Marathon is a great central location to get to different snorkeling/diving spots.

Beautiful Keys Stay!

Beautiful home with a lovely backyard. Corrinne is very responsive and communicative. No issues at all with checking in and use of the home. Construction across the canal really was not bothersome, only one time a delivery of dirt was noisy for about one minute. The homes being built are nearly finished. Partial ocean view still! And the beach is a quick walk down the road. We walked to and from Sombrero beach many times. We loved our Marathon stay!

Relaxing

My family and I enjoyed our vacation. The house was fully equipped, clean and in a private quiet area. We had a minor issue during our stay. The management company and owner were quick to respond and address the issue immediately. The house and Marathon might be our new vacation spot.

Relaxing

This property was perfect! The private pool allowed us to have fun without others interrupting. Some noise from building across the canal, however did not ruin our trip and the owner let us know ahead of time. Great walking path which we utilized each day. Kayaked along the canal and out into the ocean. Great Vacation!

Great location, near Sombrero Beach. Easy access to Key West and other Keys. Loved the outdoor pool area for a very relaxing vacation.

The house was as seen in the pictures except for one thing.The ocean view was not there because they were building 2 new homes They started construction at 6 am hammering and loud noises for the entire week,including Thanksgiving Day! Had we previously known this, we would have chosen a different location,It was not relaxing at all and we were all very disappointed. The manager was very responsive when we had 2 small issues with the home. We had a beautiful week although I think they should of made us aware of not having an ocean view and all of the construction. When I rent a home in the Keys, I always rent ocean view, you pay a premium for this and I was not happy at all. We had a beautiful week weather wise, When I rent again next year I will be more vigilant to make sure we are getting the ocean view that we payed for

Fall Break

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful location. The house and amenities were everything and more that were listed. The accessibility to the ocean and Sombero Beach were perfect. Hope to return in the future.

Beautiful piece of paradise

Wonderful home on last canal overlooking the ocean. Very comfortable, well appointed beds and kitchen. Great pool and outdoor grill area. Decorated just as you’d expect for a tropical getaway. Quiet area, loved riding the bikes to Sombrero Beach. Kayaks were great fun as well. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for the hospitality Corrine!

Nice home close to everything

We had a blast staying at this house. It accommodated my family comfortably and the pool was perfect to relax in after a hot day out. We loved that it was walking distance to the beach. It was also close to shopping and great dining. We were able to explore so many cool places and didn’t have to spend the whole day in the car to get there. This house was definitely perfect for my family and we would recommend this house for any family looking to relax and explore.

Fun and quaint but roomy cottage

My wife and I and our adult kids stayed for a week. Great open kitchen/dining/living room. Plenty of space for 6 adults. The pool and outdoor kitchen were great. Pool was used a lot to soak up the sun and fun. Easy walk to the beach to swim or fish. A manatee swam right up to me in the canal and let me pet its head. We loved it!

It’s a beautiful place! Sombrero beach is wonderful. We have a beautiful people around , good weather and good restaurants. Great stay!

This is a lovely home! The pool is great, nice size and we did have the pool chiller running because it was a HOT week! We rented a 22 ft boat 3 of the days we were there and had no problems getting the boat in or out even at low tide, the way in from the gulf is clearly marked. I had read reviews about the canal being smelly and having lots of seaweed, aside from the first day the canal was very clear. We made use of the kayaks and it was very easy getting them in and out of the water
.beautiful area to take advantage of them! The house is very well appointed with anything you could possibly need to cook meals there, have a great nights sleep and plenty of towels
towels for the pool, towels for the the boat and towels for your showers! The outdoor grill was clean and the outdoor kitchen area great! The storage closet has pool toys and a chest freezer for bait and extra ice storage
.and fishing poles. It’s about a 9 minute walk to Sombrero Beach if you decide to walk rather than drive. All the conveniences of shopping are very close by as well as restaurants! We were very comfortable here, open family area with kitchen so easy to have everyone all together
that’s what we want in our family vacations
.highly recommend and I would definitely stay here again!!

Great House

I stayed with some friends to do a week of fishing. Didn’t disappoint. We rented a 25ft cc for the week had no problem navigating from the dock out to our spots. Great location close to Sombrero Beach and Publix.

Family Fun Spot

We had a great time and the property manager Katie was such a pleasure to work with. The AC had a little bit of difficulty keeping up with the 100 degree Florida Keys Heat but other than that this place was perfect for the 4th of July! Met the neighbors and they were great! Fishing off the dock was great, saw manatees off the dock, pool was perfect and location was excellent! Loved the beach access down the street. Very peaceful.

When not in Marathon, we live in Little Rock, Ar. We love the keys and bought this house instead of a boat! We are still looking for the right boat, but are so glad we found the right house! We love sitting in the pool (it has ledges all around) listening to Jimmy Buffet. Sombrero Beach is wonderful and just a short walk away.

Marathon has the feel of the Keys, but also has the conveniences of home.
