Gorgeous little getaway

We booked with Tabitha to celebrate our son's 16th birthday in the OBX. She was very prompt in responding to all of my questions (and I had a lot). This house is the perfect getaway for a small family wanting to explore all things OBX. The beach is so close, the highway that gets you up and down the island is super close, lots of shopping, restaurants, and fun things to do that are all really close. The backyard was the perfect retreat with a giant tree for shade and 2 comfy hammocks. There's no reason not to book this house. 5 Stars for this house and Tabitha the host.

Family vacation

We came with two teenagers and adult daughter, the place was clean and nicely decorated. Front door sticks and lock is hard to use. Our last full day there, the shooting at Avalon pier occurred. Up setting for many reasons given the ages of our children and we spent every day at the pier and had seen the boy who was killed there. I get home and get a message that I am being charged for 3 towels with greasy spots. We won’t be returning.

Golf Weekend

This place was perfect and exceeded expectations!! Tabitha was an extremely attentive host long before we even checked in!! The house was SUPER clean and in a great location for any of your needs! We will most definitely be back, and I would highly recommend!!!

Kids Need Fun

House was perfect fit for kids & family togetherness. The hammocks were a big hit. The reading nook & little rocker was perfect for non beach time. All the detail items of property were so helpful. Location was central to all our activities. Our street was quiet & relaxing. It fit our budget & was just a short hop to beach. Thanks for sharing your home

Cute house with Terrible Mgmt

Everything went well with our stay - we cleaned up afterwards and left the house in good condition…. The property owners emailed after we left to indicate that they were going to charge us money for things that were wrong with the house before we got there - such as something orange on the sheets, rusted clothesline, soiled small appliance (I am not even sure that that is). They just wanted more money since we stayed there during the off season.

This place had it all - beautifully decorated, in a convenient location

This was one of our best holiday rental experiences ever! It was our first visit to the Outer Banks so we didn’t know what to expect. The host was helpful and responsive ahead of time with planning advice and the house had all the beach essentials we didn’t know we needed: towels, chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards. The home has been recently redecorated and carefully outfitted and was very clean, with much appreciated little touches like an assortment of the things we’d forgotten, like toothbrushes and soap. The kitchen was well appointed with some starter supplies, and we certainly gave it a workout - there was space for three teens to make smoothies, cook pasta, and flip pancakes. Several outdoor spaces so we weren’t on top of each other, and an outdoor shower that the kids really appreciated. Location was very convenient - close to traffic lights so we could easily walk eastward to the beach and to Avalon Pier, which was a very fun evening destination for body surfing, peel and eat shrimp, and live music. Just a few minutes to the west is a walking/biking path that we also enjoyed. Many amenities close by, like a huge Target, grocery stores, donuts, bagels, and Stack Em High breakfast. We enjoyed paddleboard yoga with Kind Yoga, a four hour tubing/fishing/crabbing tour with OBX Pontoon Man, First Flight Adventure Park ropes course, and Lost Treasure mini golf. Overall, a very pleasant space in an extremely convenient location and a helpful host!

Short vacation

I usually stay at hotels but i decide to stay at a house this time and it was worth it. The place was very clean and the host Tabitha was fast to answer any questions we had. Highly recommend if you plan a vacation.
