The neighborhood boasts one of largest concentrations of stylistically unchanged 1880s adobe buildings in the US converted into cafes and restaurants.

A beautiful patio and comfortable amenities, this is the perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway. Book your stay and indulge in a truly enchanting experience.
The guest room has a private entrance with no access to the main building. Complete with its own bathroom. It has a coffee maker, microwave, small office refrigerator with a small freezer at the top, cable TV, and work space.
There is secured private parking for small or average size vehicles. Street parking for larger vehicles.The Police Department, that is 6 blocks away refers to our neighborhood as âMayberryâ. Younger guests will have to look up the reference to âThe Andy Griffith Showâ. (Nothing ever happened and was very safe). ATTENTION BUDGET TRAVERS: All public transportation is free in Tucson. This means you can get from the airport to within 3 blocks of the Guest Room. Take bus #25 to the Laos Transit Center. Transfer to bus #12. Tell the driver you want to get off at El Minuto Restaurant. Just before your stop you will pass Carrillo Elementary School (a large Spanish style building) on you left. Get off the bus and punch in our address into your phone. The Guest Room is a eight minute walk to the free street car. The street car will take you to downtown, 4th Ave, the University, and the Mercado. You can experience Tucson without renting a car or calling an Uber.We are 3 minutes from I-10, 17 minutes to the airport. We are Travel and Leisureâs number 2 food destination in the US, ( that is not a typo), North Americaâs first City of Gastronomy, the 7th ranked music city in the US and a top five American street. Conrad Nast recently designated downtown and the surrounding barrios as the best place to visit in the US.

Retired educators, returned Peace Corps volunteers, and well traveled, Kay and Bob will help make your stay very enjoyable. Self check in is available. There are many guest that we never actually meet. There are maps, pamphlets, magazines, and The Tucson Weekly in the room to help you take advantage of what Tucson has to offer. Not always home, but always available to help with a simple phone call.

Less than a mile from I -10. 20 minute drive to the airport. Free bus service to the airport, three blocks from the Guest Room. 20 minute walk to the heart of downtown Tucson.
