Stugan är undangömt i en lugn liten utveckling mellan den historiska staden Jim Thorpe och Big Boulder skidort. Omgiven av frodig rhododendron på en trädbevuxen mycket, erbjuder fastigheten en känsla av avskildhet utan att offra säkerheten som kommer med att vara i ett samhälle. Det är en lugn och fridfull plats att koppla av och njuta av naturen.

Interiören i huset är nyrenoverat. Det huvudsakliga vardagsrummet består av ett kombinerat vardagsrum och kök med välvt tak öppet till en 2: a våningen loft. Köket är välutrustat, vardagsrummet är bekväm och har en mysig gas spis. Loftet är ett allrum med kabel-TV, DVD-spelare, böcker och sällskapsspel.

Utanför kan du koppla av på däck eller hänga vid eldstaden. Det är en gas grill och bord med stolar för uteservering.

Cozy cabin for a short getaway

My small family enjoyed a last minute Thanksgiving getaway. The house is small but well designed. We never felt cramped.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway!

This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Me and my husband had such a peaceful stay. This little cabin is PERFECT! It was well stocked and so clean. I can't wait to come back again and I'll definitely be recommending it to my family and friends!

This is a wonderful cabin. The location is great and it’s very private and quiet. Unbelievably well stocked. We have stayed in many VRBo properties and this is one of the best. We had a great time.

Quaint and Cozy

We had a fantastic fall weekend at this cozy, 3 bedroom home in Jim Thorpe, PA. Chock full of Amenities including a gas fireplace, outside fireplace and hammock, deck and balcony this comfy home is all you need to have a beautiful time in the Poconos. Will come back for sure!

Great Place to Stay

We totally enjoyed our stay at this property. You felt like a guest in someone's home. The hosts were so responsive, and the house truly felt like a cabin in the woods. It was furnished with anything you could need. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening after hiking and biking. We will definitely be back.

Winter get away

Very Nice Poconos Cabin

Remote Cabin

Very private and clean cabin. Provided all the necessary items to make our stay very enjoyable. Location for hiking and biking is excellent! Would refer the cabin to family and friends. Owners are easy to communicate with during our stay.

Jim Thorpe cabin

We have rented this cabin from Joan & Tom multiple times. No complaints! The new addition of loft bedroom is beautiful. We love the peace and quiet of this location. Plus lots of kitchen amenities. We had a beautiful week and enjoyed one evening outside around the fire ring - s'mores for all!

Birthday Getaway

We had a great stay at this rental! The home was very clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking. Access to the property was easy, and the hosts were fantastic—very communicative and flexible, which made our trip even smoother.The only downside was the amount of ice on the driveway and leading into both entrances. It was quite hazardous upon arrival, and we had to be extra careful navigating in and out. We attempted to break the ice up with melt and shovels, but could not make a significant impact. Some extra attention to ice removal would make a big difference for winter guests, especially those in their 70s.Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we'd definitely consider returning.

I Miss the Quiet Already

Beautiful property inside and out. Even nicer than the pictures! So quiet! Great home base for visiting area attractions. Owners are great communicators and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again! It was a perfect long weekend!

Last summer hurrah

Enjoyed a long weekend here at the tail end of the summer and loved every minute of it. The property was spacious enough for a family of 4, clean, had a great assortment of games for the kids, and a nice fire pit for evening smores. The owners were very responsive via email and text. The location was great, secluded and quiet, but close enough to Hickory Run, downtown Jim Thorpe, and Lehigh Gorge. Only downside was not having a washer/dryer - so be prepared to bring extra towels if doing water activities.

Sister Trip 2023

The property was beautiful and well maintained. The cabin was comfortable, clean, and cozy. The instructions were simple and straightforward. The hosts were friendly, accommodating and easy to communicate with. Definitely five stars! We would stay there again.
