Denna stuga erbjuder det bästa av båda världarna !! Tucked away i skogen i en stuga gemenskap men bara några minuter från downtown Blue Ridge !! Denna mysiga, avskilda, underbara, 2 sovrum, 1 badkar har en stor, mycket privat skärmad i däck och stor utomhus däck med en grill och chiminea, en drottning tall logg säng i befälhavaren och 2 enkelsängar i det andra sovrummet, en dra ut drottningssoffa i heden, vedeldad spis, ugn, mikrovågsugn och ett nytt kylskåp. Denna stuga har också centralvärme och luft, WIFI, tre kabel-TV, en dartbräda, gott om böcker och brädspel. Stugan sover 4-6 bekvämt. Kabinen gränsar till Chattahoochee National Forest och ligger 200 meter lång promenad ner till Lake Blue Ridge. Kabinen ligger 2 miles från downtown Blue Ridge där du kan hitta ett brett utbud av affärer, bra restauranger och barer och The Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. Stuga är också nära (4 miles) till ASKA Adventure Area, med vandringsleder, vattenfall, slangar, forsränning på Ocoee, Nantahala och Toccoa Rivers, öringfiske och ridning. 3 natt min .. Små hundar (50 lbs eller mindre) är de enda typerna av husdjur som vi tillåter tillsammans med en $ 50 återbetalningsbar husdjur avgift.
Shopping / sightseeing-Från stugan är du 2 minuter från Blue Ridge centrum där du kan handla i eklektiska affärer, ta en bit att äta, ta den vackra Blue Ridge Railroad turnén etc. Massor av bra affärer och stora familjeaktiviteter med TONS att göraHyttan ligger vid sjön Blue Ridge och ligger en kort promenad genom skogen. Följ spåret som löper runt utsidan av däck ner till viken. Båt och Jetski uthyrning finns på Blue Ridge Marina (sväng höger ut ur kabinavdelningen från Lake Forest Drive tillbaka till Old Hwy 76 och du kommer se Marina ner till höger (leta efter tecken)

It was so quiet and peaceful, yet just minutes from all the activities. It was just what we needed. A quiet and restful getaway. The screened porch was my favorite and where we spent most of our time.

We enjoyed the porch the best. Listening to birds, deer, squirrels and rain hitting roof was relaxing. It was close to town, that even door dash had no problems finding the cabin.

Utterly disappointed with this cabin and left 4 days early. Despite laundry being listed as an amenity with picture of a washer, there is no washer and dryer on the property. When asked the host referred me to the laundromat in town.In addition, the cabin is in shocking disrepair. A broken, barely hanging closet door with chipped wood and misaligned framing in one bedroom, window does not open in the other bedroom. Torn carpets with frayed edges, flooring that is coming up and separating in numerous places, a broken and torn back screen porch door that is falling apart and unusable, a porch rope chair that is dangerously rotted away, and torn screen in many places. The stove is rusty and smokes every time it is turned on. The kitchen trash can was filthy underneath the bag. The floors were so dirty I went a bought a mop and Mr. Clean to try and make it better. There were many other things that were unacceptable, flithy, matted bathroom rugs, flooring coming up in numerous places and just a general state of long term neglect. We stayed the first part of the reservation because we drove 9 hours to get there for a weekend family event and had no where else to go. I did not notify the host/VRBO until we left because I did not want strangers coming to the (remote) cabin to do repairs while I was there. (Host suggested this) All the deficiencies noted, with photos, are long term neglect and should have been repaired while cabin was not occupied. Renter beware....

Comfortable cabin

Very cozy and comfortable. Great outdoor deck and screened porch. Appreciated plenty of extra blankets. The AC works great. Felt secluded but conveniently located to shopping.

Quick stopover

We decided to stop a couple days on our way back north to Ohio. I had done some research on the Blue Ridge Ga area. It seemed a nice place to check out for a couple days. We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was cozy, and pet friendly. The check in process was simple and we had great communication with the host during our stay.

Wonderful cozy cabin in Blue Ridge, GA

We had a great long weekend here while visiting Blue Ridge, GA. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. It was great for young children. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and deck. Great place for quietly enjoying the mountains or exploring activities in Blue Ridge. It is also close to plenty of hiking and outdoor activities. We had a great time!

Great quiet location, could be cleaner

This cabin is located in the "woods" (lots of trees, gravel road) and the back porch is wonderful, even in the rain. It is also not far from downtown and lots of trails. The owner was very responsive and picked up the trash regularly. Our only complaint is it needs a thorough cleaning. We had to clean some things before use (dishes, bathroom, counters) and found dead and dried up bugs in bathroom and bedroom, so it wasn't swept before our arrival. But overall, a nice place to stay.

Good location to everything

Great screen porch and outdoor deck, but the inside of the cabin did not have much appeal. Very small master bedroom, barely room for a bed. Glad I was not planning on doing much cooking for the kitchen was not well stocked with pots and pans.

Perfect Mountain Getaway Minutes from Blue Ridge

We got so lucky with this VRBO Rental, the Location is amazing with trails so close to the Cabin....and it's a real mountain cabin with wood details and back screen porch that makes you feel like you are in the trees. The property was well loved, we always consider it a bonus when this turns out to be a family getaway home and not just a rental. Check in and communication was professional and quick. You can walk out the door and down gravel roads that lead to a trail to the lake, that's out the back door! The Aska Trails are only 10 minutes down the road. We were there one night alreay wondering when we can go back and rent this cute mountain cabin. We loved it.

Cozy cabin, tucked away from downtown Blueridge

Loved our stay in Blueridge. Cabin was cozy and had all that we needed for a girls getaway. Loved the trails behind the house which is a short hike to the beautiful lake. Looking forward to coming back!!

Ok cabin for home base

This cabin would be good for a home base for hikers. Not a destination stay cabin. Doesn’t have that “in the mountains” feel. Bed is too small for a couple, needs updates. Was clean. No washer/dryer or dishwasher. The screen porch was nice.

Christmas Getaway

Great space with easy access to the property. Not far from the downtown area of Blue Ridge but far enough away not to hear any noises from town. All nature. Cabin is a fair size and very comfortable and clean. I will stay here again.

Great cabin!!! Would definitely recommend!

The cabin is in an excellent location that makes you feel secluded but only a five minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge. There are several things to do within the area and the scenery is beautiful. The cabin is very comfortable and the screened in back porch and deck area are the best parts. We did a lot of cooking in the kitchen and on the grill. The grill worked great and was clean. The kitchen had all the utensils needed to cook basic meals but some of the pans/pots needed to be cleaned prior to using. The queen bed in the master was not very comfortable so we purchased a memory foam pad and it worked great! Before and during our vacation, communication was great and I was able to get ahold of Christine very easily! Overall we had an excellent trip and would recommend Mac's Cabin!

My husband, Jim and I, have been visiting Mac's cabin since the early 90's when our friends owned the cabin. When they decided to sell the cabin back in 2006, we jumped at the opportunity to buy it. We have always loved the cabin, its proximity to downtown Blue Ridge and all the wonderful, outdoor activities Blue Ridge and the surrounding areas have to offer! We have spent many wonderful weekends up at the cabin, exploring the area with our family. We hope you enjoy your stay at our cabin!!!!
