Privacy Note: From Early-October to late April, Jane and I reside in the upper portion of the cabin with our two little dogs. The lower portion of the cabin, is the vacation rental and is completely separate from the upper level where Jane and I live. During that time we are available on-site for any assistance or inquiries you may have, local attractions, dining , hiking, fishing spots, etc. For the rest of the year, we are in Montana. Remember, plans can change, especially if fire season gets smoky, we may return sooner than planned. But rest assured, your comfort and privacy are our top priorities. Book your escape today and enjoy your stay in this beautiful log cabin!

Please Note: The rental unit does not have a conventional oven, but it does have a convection micro wave, griddle and BBQ grill with a side burner. But don't worry the Iron Bride Cafe and Toccoa River Restaurant are just minutes away.. You may not even want to cook, after all you are on vacation.

Property was exactly as listed. Very comfortable stay. All the amenities you need right there. Check-in was a breeze and communication with owner was on point! My husband and I enjoyed our week long Anniversary Getaway. Lots of things to do and ways to relax! Definitely would recommend!Dawn F

Clean and tidy. The property and furnishings are slightly dated. If you just look at the pictures and don't read the details, you'd think the property is on the river, but it's not. It fooled us until after we booked. Overall, a very nice stay and I'd book it again!

Relax on the River

The cabin was fantastic! It is a gravel road going up to the cabin but my Toyota Camry made it up just fine. It was very clean and stocked with anything you could need, even a can opener and wine bottle opener. We used the grill to cook most of our items. It was simple to use. The back porch areas was relaxing! We loved the hot tub. It was also fun to walk down to the river. Now if you are like me, a Florida girl not used to the elevation you might get a little winded going back up but it was well worth it!We enjoyed that there were things nearby to go do. We hiked at Falls Branch Falls and did the tubing! Both were great!

Perfect weekend getaway

This place was exactly what we needed and honestly much more than we expected! Incredibly clean. Super spacious for the actual square footage. Wonderful outdoor spaces. Completely stocked everything you need. And Scott was a great host! He even made personal phone call to help us with a quick question. Highly recommend!

Cozy Spot in the Mountains

We loved this place. The back porch and firepit area were well used. We were provide with all the little necessities to make our stay great. The host, Scott, went above and beyond by letting us know, without prompting, that early check in was available the day of our arrival. We explored the area and fished from the deck beside the water. No one was upstairs during our stay. The place was about 10 or 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge which was a plus. We will definitely be booking again.

Great Cabin in the woods!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The location was beautiful, and the cabin itself was very comfortable and homey. We celebrated my husband's birthday there for a quiet getaway and it was the perfect location. We walked down the stairs to the restaurant up the road for dinner and enjoyed the walk by the river. The bed was comfortable and also enjoyed the hot tub. We definitely would plan to stay there again next time we want a weekend in Blue Ridge.

Quick Mountain Getaway!

We stayed two nights! Was an awesome short drive to downtown, and a 2 minute walk to some great tubing. The suite was spacious and had a separate entrance. Loved the hot tub too!

Cabin on the hill

It was supposed to be a retreat with my son and my nephew and go fishing. My son had to work so my nephew and I tried to fish, but the water was too high so we watch movies and eat food. The living conditions were excellent. It was very enjoyable. I would love to come back with my wife

Blue Ridge mountains

Scott is an excellent host; great accessibility & communication. The accommodations were a quaint, picturesque cabin in the Blue Ridge mountains. A great stay/getaway for those that appreciate the outdoors and postcard views everywhere you turn.

Excellent spot for a quick getaway.

Loved the location and layout of the property. It was just the right size for us three. Even though property owner was out of town Scott was quick with his responses. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice, quick getaway in the mountains.

Mountain Getaway

If you like the mountains this will be exciting for you. It is REALLY in the mountains. Quiet and relaxing. A 2 lane very winding, up and down road gets you there. If your good at walking or water sports there is lots to do. For older people not so much. Unfortunately the train wasn't running and the playhouse. Wasnt snowing anything at this time. people

The basement apartment was clean and had great amenities. The beds were comfortable and the front porch was the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning while listening to the birds and river. Its was close to many trails. We would definitely stay here again.

Natural Beauty: Just upstream, the Sandy Bottoms recreation area provides excellent fishing access along the river.
Proximity to Blue Ridge: The cabin is only 9 miles away from downtown Blue Ridge.
Outdoor Adventures: Additionally, our cabin is conveniently close to two fantastic trails:
Falls Trail: This scenic trail leads you through lush forests, past cascading waterfalls, and offers breathtaking views.
Swinging Bridge Trail: Experience the thrill of crossing the Toccoa River on the longest swinging bridge east of the Mississippi River. The serene surroundings en route to the bridge make it a delightful hike..
