Friendly Note: Our home is usually known for being comfy and quiet, but on Monday evenings through October (5:30pm–9:30pm) our neighbor hosts a lively community potluck dinner. Guests are always welcome to join in the fun, but if you prefer a completely quiet stay, we recommend avoiding Monday nights. Please note, refunds are not offered for this weekly event.

This property is a fine example of an updated mid 1900s house. We particularly enjoyed the very comfortable beds, nice linens and pillows, lush bathroom towels and an abundance of kitchen supplies and more. Many rental properties only supply guests with minimum items, but this one has many things a guest may need.

NOT quiet - it's a nice little cottage in good condition, and kept very clean. But it is next door to a "party house", with a live band (with amplifiers!), lights, multiple porta-potties in the alley, and noise, noise, noise. Folks were cutting through this VRBO's yard to go to & from the back yard. Called the property manager, who was apologetic, but did nothing on the night that it happened to stop the noise, other than say "there are multiple hotels and VRBOs in the area... you SHOULD be able to find a place tonight"). We canceled the remainder of the stay and we were promised a full refund (the first word of the description for this property is "Quiet"?!). Jury's still out on that, as it is now four days later and we have only received half of our money back (with no response to my follow up email). Property manager says they will be "meeting with the neighbor to discuss", so perhaps they will ultimately address, but I would advise making sure this is resolved before you reserve.

Great location, clean and very comfortable. I only had one hiccup 
 I could not open the website set to me from the host. This made it hard to check in or out. I am unsure if it was me that was not understanding or if it was the way the site was sent. Other than that it was great!!! Thank you!

Great quiet location

The home was exactly as described, located in a quiet older neighborhood near downtown CDA could walk to grocery stores and other shopping.

Convenient Comfy

5 Stars all around. The property is clean, updated, well-appointed, and convenient. Excellent kitchen, with new/er appliances and stocked with everything you could need. The bathroom is spacious, updated, and stocked. Excellent TV/Wifi. Beds and linens are very good. The host put a lot of thought and effort into appointing the property. The holiday decor was a wonderful touch. Convient location for downtown, the lake, shopping , restaurants etc.

We found the house comfy and convenient for our holiday stay. Linens and bedding plentiful and fresh. Kitchen well stocked w/ cooking dishes. Our misunderstanding of the shower was cleared up quickly. Drawbacks? Back porch rain easily tracked into house. We could have used another reading light, either in living room or a bedroom.

Nice Downton Rental

Cooking meals was easy in thus well-appointed home, plus tge laundry was very convenient. Clean, and quiet: a nice place to stay.

Roomy, comfortable, clean and walking distance to shops, restaurants and lake.

We enjoyed our stay here - much better than a hotel room with more space, parking, full kitchen, washer and dryer. Quiet neighborhood and close to many shops and restaurants. Safeway is a block over which was also convenient.

Cute, Clean and Convenient

I stayed at this property for the month of July. Great little place and well appointed with everything you need for your stay! Bedrooms were small with one queen and a full yet still had ample storage/closet space. Less than a mile walk to downtown CDA with shopping, restaurants and bars along the way on 4th St. (Highly recommend The Tree House! Food and drinks were amazing!). Lots of thrift stores and specialty shops within blocks. We bought bikes for $35 at a local thrift store and cruised all over CDA! If you are driving to this place I recommend small beach or camping chairs and bikes! The place provided beach towels and those were a perfect amenity being so close to the lake. Can’t wait to come back! Will definitely stay here again!😊

Family Vacation

The property was very clean and well stocked with everything you might need. (The best that I’ve been to). It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. It’s right across the street from a grocery store. That was awesome! This town is wonderful and beautiful. The people are so friendly. We would love to come back and stay here!

Very Quaint House

This was a very clean and comfortable house. Its location is within walking distance to mid town restaurants. It was very well stocked and even had beach towels available. We will stay here again if ever in the mid town Coeur d'alene area.
