På den vackra Kattskill Bay på östra sidan av Lake George. Byggd 2012. 650 kvadratmeter vacker vagn hem över garaget i de viktigaste lakehouse. Dock utrymme för din båt baserat på tillgänglighet. Gästerna kan också njuta av användningen av våra två paddleboards och kanot för tillgång till sjön. Vagnhuset har begränsad sjöutsikt, men är privat och trädbevuxen på ett bra sätt. Inkluderar fullt utrustat kök och badkar. Vackert vardagsrum med stor soffa, läderstol och ottoman. Gott om lagringsutrymme. År 2018 tillsattes ett helt nytt separat sovrum med Stickley möbler: queen size-säng, byrå, nattduksbord och armoire. Sovrummet med välvt tak ser ut på privat skärmad i veranda med flätad loveseat, stolar och café bord och stolar för att äta. Sovrum franska dörrar vetter mot skogen och öppna upp för svala vindar från verandaen. Två garderober och stapelbar tvättmaskin och torktumlare för extra bekvämlighet. I köket finns också ett matplats med rustikt bord och stolar som ser ut över grönsaksgården och skogen. Privat utrymme med värme och luftkonditionering för varma sommardagar. 50 "kabel-TV och trådlöst internet ingår också.

Observera att vår lakehouse är vår heltid boende och vi brukar vara på fastigheten. Vi har full användning av lakefront, båthus och hela fastigheten. På grund av våra allergier är absolut inga husdjur tillåtna i och runt hela fastigheten, inklusive transporthuset. Rökning förbjuden, i eller på vår egendom också.

Lake George Bliss!

Quiet. Clean. Cozy. Kindness. Generosity. We stayed for 4 days in what can only be described as an adorable carriage house by the lake. Fred and Linda were terrific hosts. lakeside (almost) retreat

nice, secluded location off the beaten path, but still close enough for the necessities. super quiet place i found to be ideal for relaxation....which i plan to do more of on the next visit

Beautiful place!

This is a lovely, clean place with a perfect, tranquil outdoor setting. It's located a short distance from several hiking trails and peaks, which was very convenient. Fred and his wife were very accommodating! Add to that our use of their canoe on the lake, it made for a perfect trip. We would highly recommend staying here. We certainly look forward to staying here again for our next visit to Lake George.

Perfect getaway lake cabin

This lake house cottage/cabin is so beautiful and in a lovely location. Cozy but roomy and lots of storage space. Fred and Linda are delightful, creating a personal welcome and easy to get in touch with. The place is impeccably clean, right on the lake, a short distance from hiking, stores and the classic Lake George area. It was a dream getaway.

Lovely Lakeside Escape

We went up to the carriage house for a long weekend. It was perfect! The location was ideal and the property had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. We felt at home immediately. The best part, however, was our hosts, Fred and Linda. They were extremely welcoming, and offered us a ton of great suggestions on things to do. We had a great time and look forward to coming back!

Beautiful and relaxing

We stayed for a long weekend after all of our honeymoon plans had to be changed due to Covid-19. The space is gorgeous, comfortable and very relaxing. Fred and Linda are lovely and made great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We look forward to visiting again!

Lovely lake Experience

We went up to lake George to relax for 3 days and it was perfect , stayed in the apartment, it was very comfortable and fully equipped , big for just two people, we barbecued every day and relaxed and enjoyed the magnificent sun deck on top of the boat house. Fred & Linda live in the main house adjacent to the apartment , by the end of the weekend actually felt like we had visited family for the weekend , had a good chat with Fred and bought some pottery from Linda, highly recommend this location for a quiet getaway.

Beautiful and Serene

The property is beyond beautiful. The apartment is spacious, well appointed, pretty and so comfortable. The lake is indeed New York's jewel. The nights were quiet and peaceful. Fred and Linda were very gracious hosts and all but invisible. We felt very welcomed. Stay here, it will rejuvinate you.

Lovely cottage

The cottage was tidy and well appointed. We enjoyed being on the quiet side of the lake, though, close to a market and restaurants. The waterfront setting was perfect for our daily kayaking and could not have been prettier. ..also close to hiking. Fred and Linda were lovely and helpful hosts. Fantastic retreat. Perfect combo of fun and relaxation.

Great Place. Wonderful Owners.

A fantastic place in a wonderful setting! We stayed for four nights in the studio apartment over the garage. It is perfect for two people and easily accommodated our teenage daughter, as well. Fred and Linda are fabulous hosts and were beyond gracious during our short visit. I highly recommend renting this property. For a larger party, the house is absolutely stunning and would be a treat for the most discriminating traveler. Everything about the listing is accurate and the property is extremely well maintained. We enjoyed taking Fred's canoe for a spin on the lake, and visiting their friend's country store (Cleverdale Country Store on Ridge Road) a few miles away. You can pick up some good local grub, beer and even some of Linda's cool pottery that she throws in her basement studio. The hiking on the local trails is fantastic (check out Buck Mountain and Schumann Preserve), and you can even get a little culture at the Hyde Collection in Glens Falls. The highlight of our stay was a great evening boat ride that included some wine, cheese and crackers. We really enjoyed our time in Lake George and hope to return!

Our carriage house makes a perfect getaway from everyday living. The private, space is close to those who love an active live of hiking, biking and swimming, fishing and skiing. A restful and peaceful spot for those looking for tranquility.

The east side of Lake George is known as the quite side of the lake. We are 1/2 mile or less from one short, and one long hike. Our gravel road connects to other private roads for safe walking and running. Our local Country Store is just down the road and provides endless tasty meals, entertainment on certain nights and supplies as needed. The lake itself offers endless hours of enjoyment year 'round.
