Rummet ligger i hjärtat av Amsterdam mittemot Jordaan-området. Centrum ligger runt, men huset ligger fortfarande i ett lugnt område. Dräkten vetter mot gården som du kan komma in från ditt rum. Rummet är mysigt, tyst och knäppt. Höjd är 1. 85 mtr under 17: e centen. balkar. Du har egen ingång, så du är fri att gå in och ut. Gratis Wifi / Internet. Privat souna-bad och toalett med skjutdörr. Ett pentry med ditt privata kylskåp en spisspis och mikrovågsugn. Vi har också en liten båt "som terrass" där du kan sitta på om solen är ute. För uthyrning har vi en 2 personer kanot. I trädgården kan du koppla av eller röka.

Dam Square 5 min promenad, Ann Frank House och Jordaan 2 min. promenad och 10 min promenad till Leidseplein torget. Museerna är en kort promenad bort, liksom Vondelpark, blomstermarknaden och Waterlooplein. Det finns många kollektivtrafiklinjer dugg i 4 min promenad. Kvarteret har många bra restauranger, barer, kaféer, kaféer, livsmedel, bagare och butiker. Av sen bokning möjlig. Ytterligare: med mig kan du också hyra en camperbus efter din vistelse här för att utforska Nederländerna. Fråga efter möjligheterna.

If you're into the following for your vacation this is the place for you:This apartment is in a basementThe ceiling height is less than 6ftYou have to pump water to flush the toiletThe hosts will inform you that food needs to be kept in a special container so "nature" doesn't come inThis is an active workshop when not being rented, there will be smells of varnishSmoking is allowed in the unit The hosts are very non communicative towards concerns and will actively downplay anything you may bring up. They know the problems the unit has and will actively use those issues against you as a reference to why they don't have any responsibility for the properties condition. Exercise caution when agreeing to rent this unit. You will receive zero support from the owners of the property in trying to rectify any issues.

Exciting place to stay

An eclectic place to stay in the center of an eclectic city. Walk out the door and you face at once a canal lined with beautiful Dutch buildings! The neighborhood is full of restaurants, cafes, and shops frequented by Dutch as well as tourists

Spring in Amsterdam

quick trip to see a band. Amazing location for anywhere in Amsterdam. small garden and boat on canal make for a nice break with a glass of wine. Apt as described... quirky but that is exactly what I was looking for.

Got there early and informed by owner all okay to check in early. Location is excellent right where we wanted to be. The room was great we liked it a lot very quirky and a very comfortable bed. Probably not to everyone’s taste but fine for us. Late check out was available informed by owner all okay.

Great stay

Cozy unit below ground. Host was extremely sweet and helpful. I wouldn’t recommend if you are over 6 ft tall as the ceilings are incredibly low. Location is incredible on the canals and very central, but away from the craziness of the center of the city.

Quirky canal apartment

Thought we were walking into a lovely little vintage shop which led us into a cozy quirky apartment. Everything you need with few little extras and a wonderful deep bath. Not the place to stay if your looking for modern style furnishings. Plumbing is a little noisy and on occasion a little smelly and you have to pay extra for the sauna. Anne Marie is a very helpful and informative host.

Lifelong desire to travel here

Loved everything about the location. Beautiful garden. Easy to access other locations. Well supplied kitchen with all items needed for cooking. I could not ask for a better place, plus owner was very kind and responded to questions quickly. We absolutely loved it.

This is a basement flat in an old canal house with access to a garden and canal boat to sit on and enjoy the vibe. The location is excellent and Anne Marie is a very good host.

Anne Marie is a great host, and we enjoyed our stay in this well located apartment which is so charming, has its quirks (it’s in a 17th century building after all), and even has its own sauna!

Wonderful funky suite in great location

This suite has everything my wife and I needed for our two-night stay in Amsterdam. Its location makes it easy to walk to restaurants, museums and to get to a canal tour. The suite is well provisioned to allow you to prepare meals. The courtyard looks great, but we hit a rainy period so couldn’t take advantage. Anne Marie was very helpful and responsive, giving us some excellent advice on getting around. I highly recommend this suite.

Canal apartment

Had an earlier flight and Anne Marie allowed us to check in early which was helpful. Also helpful in making suggestions for restaurants and nearby stores. Surprising note at check in about potential toilet clogs. Guest is responsible for paying for a plumber if toilet clogs. Also there were step by step instructions on how to try to fix a clog yourself if needed. However we did not have a problem.

Short stay in Amsterdam

Great location with easy walk to attractions. Anne Marie was a great host who meet us on arrival and helped settle us in. There was no surprises with the property description matching what we found.

In the midst of Amsterdam

Lovely quaint small sub-basement apartment in the midst of canal ridden Amsterdam. Little backyard garden to relax and our host has a boat on the cannal where you can sit and watch it all go by. Great location near to trams and local eateries. The ceilings are low so be prepared if you are tall.

Great spot

This place was great overall. The location is close to the anne Frank house and great walking distance to other places. The place has a sauna, cute outdoor space and access to sit on a boat. The ceiling is a bit short for someone who is 6'4" but he managed.

This apartment was exactly as listed. It is quirky, comfy and extremely well located. Anne Marie is a gracious and helpful host. If you are looking for an authentic local experience this is the place to stay.

Great location

Loved the location. Very eclectic and funky set up. Bohemian, clean, functional but not for everyone. Dark, quiet, with an unusual bathing set up. Older linens and mismatched towels. Please note: the listing says there are 2 beds: “a double PLUS a twin.” This is inaccurate. It’s a double that you can SEPARATE into 2 twins. The owner was not available but messaged us and had a tenant act as liaison. Pretty nice digs but not quite as advertised. Not workable for anyone with mobility issues.

Anne Marie Borsboom threw herselff as quirky adolescent already on the making cartoons consisting of four, five photos. Someone said: you should go filming. And so it came to pass. After the Film Academy, she went to work as Camerawoman and Director. Her new film BOI, Song of a wanderer and Homesick plus Carnival were broadcasted.
Anne Marie tries to stir her films to be more than the main theme suggests.

At times her visual poetry and eye for composition are the best in photography and they have traded the 24 frames per second for a single muted image with a strong expressiveness. But then again there makes them look prefer a series of. There are – how could it be otherwise – playful references in to film and the Visual Arts.
