If you've always wanted to stay in the middle of downtown Leavenworth, WA, look no more. These stunning 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condos are located in the Gasthaus Wunderbar. The Wunderbar building has an elevator and you can walk right out onto Leavenworth's main street from the 4th floor.

Upon entering, you are greeted by opulent luxury and the most stunning view you can imagine. The living/dining room and kitchen are spacious and the kitchen is equipped with all the necessary cooking utensils. The condo is equipped with a fully automatic HVAC system to make it extra comfortable. The electric fireplace provides a lovely ambiance enhancer.

Walk out onto the balcony and you are treated to the most incredible 180 degree views. The patio is furnished with comfortable outdoor furniture for you and your guests to relax, while enjoying the gorgeous Leavenworth weather.

Both bedrooms (and the living room pull-out sofa) make for very comfortable sleeping quarters. One bedroom has a Queen bed and the second bedroom a King bed, with both having the convenience of separate bathrooms.

Please keep in mind that views, furnishings, and flooring may vary slightly from unit to unit. The price point guarantees that you will stay in one of the condos, on the 3rd, 4th or 5th floor of a 5-story building, due to their similar square footage and amenities. We cannot guarantee any particular unit but will do our best to accommodate any request.

Take the elevator down to the parking area and you will find covered parking with dedicated space for one vehicle per condo.

The river view with amazing fall colors was calming and enjoyable throughout our stay. The central proximity to Front street restaurants and shops was perfect. As well as the easy access to the walking trails along the river and across the island. The room was spacious and clean.

Very plain and boring condo. Owner made no effort to make it feel cozy. Walls and baseboards are screaming for fresh paint. Queen bed in the primary bedroom. No dresser in the 2nd bedroom. Positives - rooms are spacious and the location is great.

The check in for this property was easy and we were greeted with a welcoming smile. The condo, however, was a couple blocks away from the checkin on Commercial Street. The Condo was very nice. It was clean and had kitchen provisions ( dishes, microwave etc.) - all that one would need. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and well appointed. We didn't watch TV at all while we were there. This condo has access to Front Street without climbing any hills - just walk down the hall to the elevator - it was great. From the balcony there's a view of the river. I would recommend this property to anyone who needs a two bedroom accommodation.

This is a very large condo with beautiful mountain and river views. The outside covered patio was perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery. The condo amenities were excellent. The kitchen is very large and open to the adjacent family room, providing an inviting space for gathering. Check-in was very easy and quick. The unit has been maintained very well. Its location provides easy walking access to the heart of Leavenworth. This is a perfect place to stay for a visit to this charming town.

Gorgeous property and excellent location! The king bed was very comfy. My parents stayed in the queen bed. My sister said the fridge is loud when it drops the ice seemingly all night long, but the hosts had earplugs for those annoying sounds. Check was down the street at Obertal Inn and was super easy. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee and non-dairy creamer. Parkung was a breeze with our reserved spot that came w the apartment. Very clean! The view from the balcony is of the river and the island, very pleasant! We will be back!

The condo had a beautiful view, was a great location and was a very spacious two bedroom condo. The condo decor was very nice too. The office staff at the check in were very helpful and friendly.

A couple snafus but overall good experience and excellent place to stay.Pros:Private parking lot in rearFull kitchenVery spaciousEntrance in front or rearSuper clean Plenty of linens Food orders ahead of timeBalcony over looking river and golf course w/ the patio furniture was lovely.Cons:Communication, asked for instructions to check in and was sent a message to check in here w/ an address. So when we came I just put in the address on the trip itinerary, the building is locked and no one’s onsite. There’s a number to call and the man said you have to check in at a different location on the other side of town to get the keys. Which was alloying as I asked specifically for instructions for check in and they didn’t say that check in is actually at a separate location. I didn’t think I needed to check the address from the message sent against the actual location of the condo. There’s no tv in either of the bedrooms, which is okay but would’ve been nice if there was one in at least one other room so we could sit the littles down while the adults stayed up and played cards. There’s only very basic kitchen items. One serving bowl, one serving plate, not really enough if you were going to do a full dinner in. No oil, spices (other than salt and pepper packets) and no As we sat on the balcony, another guest above us decided to shake out their shoes and we got sand in our hair and drinks which sucked. Overall would stay again!

A long time ago, one of my early mentors asked me “Hans, why are you in the hotel business?” He told me to think about it and tell him when I figured it out. It took me a couple of days, but it hit me when I realized that, in effect, we are doctors. Now before you start laughing, think about what we do. When you make plans to stay with us, you likely must drive here. You are also likely to just wanting to get away from the daily grind for a bit. After your drive and under the stresses of daily life, I am pretty sure your blood pressure has risen a bit and you are somewhat tense once you arrive at our Inn. We are equally certain that, once you have stayed with us, slept in our comfortable bed and enjoyed all we have to offer, while we have done all the “working” for, your drive home will be less stressful than when you arrived here. I guarantee it! (I hope it’s not a copyrighted phrase from the Men’s Wearhouse.) That is why I see us as Doctors.

I purchased the Obertal Inn in Leavenworth in November of 2010. Leavenworth is an amazing little Bavarian Village in Central Washington and attracts tourists from all over the world. It is situated in a gorgeous valley in the Cascade Mountain Range, about 2 hours east of Seattle. To learn more about how Leavenworth became this Bavarian Jewel, click here

At that time, I was 52 years old and risked our entire life savings on making my dream a reality. Needless to say, I am eternally grateful for my wife allowing me that indulgence. We put everything on the line and if this had not worked out, we would have been in pretty terrifying financial conditions. So, here we are, 15 years later, we have built a thriving small business in the heart of downtown Leavenworth. We have worked tirelessly to improve our hotel and have invested well over $6.4 million in capital upgrades and the acquisition of other properties since purchasing the hotel. We own the lovely Garden Haus, a small one-bedroom cottage in the heart of downtown Leavenworth, with a lovely yard and its own private hot tub. We also own the Wunderbar Building, which has 8 beautifully appointed 2BR, 2BA condos, with the best views of the surrounding mountains. We have added 24 vacation rental properties as well, all, except one, in the downtown core.
