Söt ett sovrum stuga i Albany

Hyr din egen ett sovrum stuga på baksidan av en söt hus i Albany. Stugan har just helrenoverats med nya köksluckor, granit, helt nya fauxfullföljande väggar med välvda tak. En ny hickory sidan skrapas trägolv med en en gammal tid stuga känsla. Kommer med den är eget badrum, en små sovrum som innehåller en kaptener säng med fyra lådor. Sovrummet och badrummet är kaklade. Levereras med välutrustat kök, 49 tums 4K-TV med många streamingtjänster och Netflix gratis. Captains säng har fyra lådor och det finns också en liten fem lådor byrå i sovrummet. Helt privat och separat från post huset där jag bor. Bekväm säng i sovrummet men det är ett mycket litet rum så det finns inget utrymme för att komma ur sängen förutom att krypa över din sängpartner och också sängen är högre än en vanlig säng så jag har fått råd att äldre gäster kanske inte tar till det här så bra. och mycket bekväm bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet. Det finns också ett loft med en full size säng. Säker stadsdel, massor av på gatan parkering, mycket nära Solano ave som har massor av företag och restauranger. Bart station ca tio till femton minuters promenad.

Great neighborhood

We love d the location near the Solano Avenue with lots of local shops. perfect for 3-4 people. Kitchen was well stocked. Robin, the manager, was friendly: checked on us to make sure we are doing OK and even let me borrow one of his bikes.

Fun place. We'll be back.

We enjoyed the one bedroom cottage. Walking into the cottage was a little challenging with construction next door and a few tiles that were loose walking into the cottage from the outside. Overall it was great.

Great spot in a cute neighborhood in Albany. My kid loved the loft and it had plenty of room for all of us. Will stay again!

Great location

This was our second time in this rental. It is very convenient for Albany/Berkeley, quiet and well equipped. It was easy to communicate with the host who responded quickly to questions.

Cozy and peaceful

What a wonderful place to stay, in a charming Albany neighborhood. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for basic cooking needs. Definitely would stay here again!

Description is right on!!!

The only two things that I would mention as a negative, is, one, as far as dog friendly, just know the yard is not conducive to taking your dog out for a bathroom break! You will need to walk down the block! With Poop bags, which not everyone uses! And two, the kitchen drawers and under the sink, and the floor between the fridge and counter’s could use a good cleaning! But, that being said, the important things were spotless! Ie, the bathroom and floors and counters! Maybe some fresh white towels and sheets and pillow protectors would be nice! The place has an eclectic charm that I appreciate! I’m not one for the institutional look! I walked everywhere and felt very safe, in the unit and outside of it!

Weekend in Berkeley

This property met our needs. We appreciated that we were allowed to bring our dog and everything we needed to do was conveniently located. It was a quick weekend so we didn’t have a lot of time to just hang out in the cottage. Our overall impression with it was kind of cute and funky, but could have been a little cleaner.

Nice little place!

I enjoyed the amenities, full kitchen, living room with TV, bathroom and bedroom. The only thing I didn't like was the bedding, pillows, and comforter. Just had a bad smell sort of like old cheese. I would recommend a waterproof mattress covering for general cleanliness and perhaps that the pillows and comforter be washed along with the sheets after each guest.

Good Value, good host

This is an older property with some unique features. The loft is unique, and adds extra space. Our son slept there in previous visit. Robin is great host, friendly, and super fast with response to any questions, issues. Kitchen area is furnished with extras, such as coffee, and even some foods furnished! There were some canned goods and various items. Space is small, but cosy and comfy.

Stayed here for 1 week as it is close to family. Robin was easy to work with and provided excellent instructions for entry, use of the heater, and other useful information during our stay. We only saw him once but he told us he had knocked a few times to introduce himself but we were not there. His phone number is on the instruction sheet if we needed anything.The bed was very comfortable and plenty of hot water for showers. The kitchen was stocked with sufficient plates, silverware, etc. if you wanted to cook. However, in our opinion this is not your typical VRBO rental and could use some improvements. Advertised as sleeping up to 7 but that would be crowded. Rugs appeared to be old, sliding glass door in the bedroom did not lock (there is a wooden fence around the outside of the slider but could not see if it was accessible or if it had another door that locked). In the kitchen, the refrigerator had a carton of milk left behind and a package of expired frozen chicken in the freezer. The cupboards also had lots of food and some of it was opened. It was easy to find the location and there are security lights if you come and go early morning or late evening. It was quiet in the area and we got a good nights sleep every night.
