Direct walk out access to the sand and sea is provided from OCEAN BREEZE located in the Le Papillon Complex, Simpson Beach's newest and most upscale complex. Located on the WIDEST part of Simpson Beach, the beach in front of Le Papillon, is crystal clear with no rocks, coral or grassy undergrowth. Lush landscaping, complete with palm trees, add to beauty of the complex with it's tropical breezes and island ambiance.

OCEAN BREEZE is a spacious, elegantly furnished beachfront 1-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom ground floor condo. With sleek, contemporary lines, OCEAN BREEZE features everything required to make your vacation memorable.

The kitchen is high-end with black/gold speckled granite and stainless steel Bosch appliances including a built-in wine cooler. Kitchen includes a Toaster, Coffee Pot, Blender, Wolfgang Puck cookware, dinnerware, flatware, electronic multi-cooker, plus selected spices and seasonings.

The living room's clean contemporary furnishings include a 50' LED TV with Cable TV, and a VOIP Telephone for free calls to the US and Canada. A local cell phone is also available. With sand and sea views from both the kitchen and living room, the adjourning covered terrace is complete with a table and chairs for outside dining pleasure. OCEAN BREEZE provides direct walk out access to the sea from the terrace. Beautiful sea views with NO stairs or elevator required to grab a quick snack or drink while on the beach.

The master bedroom provides a sumptuous king bed complete with Jennifer Adams bed linen, a large closet with safe, LED TV in the living room and bedroom, VOIP Telephone Extension, and adjourning desk area.

The main bathroom is spacious with glass shower, a rainfall shower head, and hair dryer. The condo contains an additional, separate half bath with sink and toilet.

A large GE washer and dryer, iron and ironing board are inside the unit for guests to use during their stay. Two portable beach chairs, an umbrella, cooler and beach chaise lounges are provided.

A 3rd guest can be accommodated for an additional charge.

Le Papillon is a private, secure electronic gated complex, and is sound protected with concrete walls, roof, hurricane resistant sliding glass doors/ windows, and hurricane shutters. Complex provides a video intercom system for added security, and a Generator for island power outages.

Simpson Bay beach Le Papillon

Condo is beautiful, clean, incredible view, amazing dog friendly beach. People walking on beach are so friendly. It is worth the trip. Our second time staying there & we will definitely be back. You will fall in love with the condo and beach location.

Great place to stay

Well maintained property on a perfect location. Beach was 5 steps from the patio. Comfortable furniture and a fully stocked kitchen. I have been to St Maarten many times, even lived there for a few years, and this is a very nice one bedroom condo.

We were concerned that the pictures we saw online may have been dated, but they were spot on and looked even better when we got there. Jill, Gordon and Lorraine were all the best. We hope to be back again. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

Great unit in a great location

This is an awesome unit in a great, safe location. Just steps from the beach, the unit offers beach chairs, grill, satellite TV, unlimited calls to US, and a really good wi-fi connection for the caribbean. The beach is clean, calm waters, no rocks. The location is very close to lots of really good restaurants. Looking forward to the next stay at Saphir de Mar.

amazing place to be

It was our fith time in simpson bay and it was the second time that we rent with Gill. The service with Gill and Gordon was very nice. The condo was just awesome, the beach was WOW and what about the location. If you like good food and restaurant and also like to have a drink it's the place to be. As Gordon tell us `` another day to paradise `` I recommanded that condo for those how want to have greet time and relaxe with a nice view Thank's to all the staff for making our vacation a real pleasure!!! Saphir de Mer @ Le Papillon--- Outstanding!!!!!!

Outstanding! Everything and more. The condo is immaculate, great kitchen but walking 10 steps to Simpson Beach was the best. Jill the rental agent was meticulous concerning details and the property manager was attentive, available, full of helpful information and has a great personality. If I could, I would give it 6 stars! We've already re booked for next January.

Excellent Location and Unit!

My wife and I just returned from our stay at Saphir de Mer @ Le Papillon. What a wonderful unit in a wonderful location on the beach in Simpson Bay. The unit is perfect. Gated parking, which is a bonus, as the Simpson Bay area can pose parking issues. Plenty of room and well thought out with a full size washer and dryer in the unit. There isn't anything they haven't thought of; beach chairs, loungers, BBQ, kitchen appliances etc. Beautiful views from the eat in kitchen, spacious living room and covered veranda. Just a few steps to one of the best sections of beach in Simpson Bay. The rental agent, Jill, was wonderful to work with and Gordon, the property manager, was very helpful. Already planning on staying here next year.

Great beachfront location

We were looking for an up to date, well maintained location with easy access to the beach. We were not disappointed, as this rental was all of that and more. Everything was as advertised in the listing. The unit is secure, well maintained and has a great kitchen. It was so easy to walk in from the beach to grab a snack and be able to walk right back out. The beach is large, clean and quiet. On most days we felt like we were the only ones out there. The water was calm, free of seaweed and no rocks to worry about. We took our 14 year old and the three of us had plenty of room. The local cell phone, wifi and internet phone that were included were all a plus. The property manager did a great job in the 'orientation', giving us many valuable tips for enjoying the island and getting settled (groceries, dining, excursions, etc.).

Fabulous Location!

This was my husband's and my third visit to St. Maarten and each time we rented a place on Simpson Bay Beach. This is by far our favorite and we will be renting this condo again next year. The location was great and I loved stepping off the patio and being right on the beach. We ate in most days after shopping at the grocery store for the week. The kitchen provided everything you could possibly need. I saw other reviews about low water pressure in the shower but I never experienced anything like that. My husband picked up croissants and coffee from Café Atlantico daily and we usually go diving with Ocean Explorers. We also like to go to Sunset Bar & Grill to watch the planes land at Princess Juliana airport. And although we like to drive around the island and check out other beaches, we always come back to Simpson Bay beach because why haul your stuff somewhere else when you have everything you need right where you're staying? We can't wait for next year!

Great location and lovely condo

My husband and I were very pleased with this very clean and well maintained condo. The kitchen was very well equipped, we did dine in three evenings. Cooking in this kitchen was very easy plus we made use of the grill on the patio. The bedroom was very spacious and bed very comfortable. So nice to have the washer and dryer. Shower pressure was a little low but was no issue, we adjusted. We enjoyed the easy beach access, lovely sandy beach just off our patio. Plenty of towels and beach chairs available for use. Great walking beach. Great restaurants within walking distance. We did have a car which we used to get groceries and to tour around the island. Jill very pleasant and helpful with booking condo. Gordon, a great guy, very helpful with check in and plenty of suggestions for dining and places to visit. The lady who came to clean our condo mid week was very friendly and pleasant. We had a problem one morning with mosquitos, not sure why they were around our first morning but after that we didn't see any. We had breakfast on patio every morning and as I mentioned we also had some dinners in so we ate on patio those nights. Great spot, would definitely recommend this condo. Thanks, hope to return.
