Benchmark Management - Customer Support

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We encountered some challenges that Benchmark can work on to enhance guest experience.1. Pool Pass Issues - We had 2 pool-pass cards on necklaces. One worked. One did not. We called several times...even sent a picture of the card for them to get the card/serial number. Despite our efforts, we did not receive a second working card/necklace. We hope Benchmark can address this for future guests2. Kitchen Supplies - We struggled to cook family meals due to the limited pots and bowls available. There was no mixer. No sharp knives. Not enough family size bowls or medium sized pots. We cook most of our meals. We hope that Benchmark can improve their kitchen supplies in the future3. Gate Code Change - The gate code was changed without any notification to the people trying to get in. Causing a line of cars...with frustrated folks...trying to get their non-working code to work. Finally, a lady got out of her car, went up to the one at the gate to see what was going on. Tried her gate code too...it didn't work. She called Benchmark, and after about 5-10 minutes they got the codes working again.4. Toilet Flusher - The master bathroom toilet flusher broke on Thursday, 6/5. Called it in. When we left, it was not fixed.5. Customer Support – Benchmark needs to consider having a local office in which customers can go to get issues addressed and to ask questions. We called Benchmark almost every day that we were there trying to get the issues addressed. It would always absorb over 45+ minutes each time. They would ‘capture the issue’ say they would get it addressed...yet...the next day...the issue was not addressed. This is not the way to take care of customers.
