Great home

My friend and I stayed here for two nights. The beds were comfy and the entire house is set up to be cozy and welcoming. I will stay here again.

Gorgeous one of a kind fantastic place!

This place is the bomb :)! It’s high end, beautifully decorated with a great and very practical flow of the apartment. It’s big, spacious, and has absolutely everything a family needs and much much more. We never wanted to leave! The hosts are very very helpful and left many useful tips for the beautiful town of Akureyri. We highly recommend this place and would always return if back in town. Such a gem!

Prachtig appartement!

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad. Alles is aanwezig. De ligging is perfect, het centrum is lopend te bereiken, supermarkten zijn vlakbij. Ook het zwembad.

Wonderfull stay

We stayed for five days in this wonderfull apartment. It was really fantastic and very comfortable furnished and we didn't miss anything. The location is convenient to explore Akureyri and the Myvatn area. We are grateful that we could stay here. Thanks a lot. Maybe we'll come back :-)

A beautiful place and convenient to town

This house was designed and remodeled recently making it a beautiful place to stay. After spending the day traveling around the north of Iceland we could relax here. The rain shower in the bath was awesome. The kitchen is huge and fully stocked with dishes and cooking pans. We didn’t need the guest house but that is nice if you have more people staying. Highly recommend staying here.

Great property in Akureyri!

Our family of three stayed here for 3 nights earlier this month (June 2018). The property is at the top of the hill near many shops and restaurants, so it was very walkable on a sunny day and close to lots of stuff. The decor is gorgeous and the house is spacious. We completed the 1000 peice puzzle that was in the TV cabinet - which was a nice family activity for us to work on together over our stay. We are very glad we decided to drive up to explore and stay in this part of Iceland on our trip, Akureyri is beautiful and worth the almost 5 hour drive from Reykjavik. We also enjoyed nearby Husavik (eat at Gamli Baukur), the Myvatn region, and seeing Godafoss. Highly recommend Rub 23 and Cafe Berlin for food. We would definitely stay here again! Kristinn and Rut are absolute professionals. Both this house and their Black Timber House in Borgarnes are awesome properties.

Wonderful Stay - Home Away from Home

The apartment was absolutely delightful. Gorgeous interior with the right finishing touches everywhere. It was simply wonderful to have a large space to come back to each evening and unwind from the day's adventures. Nice to have a washer and dryer in the basement for use. The kitchen has everything one could need. One minor problem - the stove (hob) was a bit sticky to get to turn on - a flat top that needed the right touch in the right spot to adjust the burner temperature. Outside of that, everything was top notch. The apartment is not far from the center of town - easily walkable to city center on a nice day. My only regret - not having enough time to spend inside the apartment. The early Icelandic autumn days called for adventures in the great outdoors. If you want the comfort of home, you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful place

We (a family with two teenagers) had a great time in Akureyri and enjoyed the wonderfully decorated and furnished apartment that offered everything we could think of. Thanks a lot for letting us rent such a beautiful place that instantly let us feel at home.

fantastic stay!

This was one of the best vacation rentals I have ever stayed in! The apartment was even more beautiful than the photos show and the owners were incredibly attentive to traveler needs and immediately responsive to our queries. I HIGHLY recommend this rental!

Amazing stay!

Gorgeous home in every detail

This home is so beautifully decorated, comfortable and spacious we had to tear ourselves away each morning to go out and visit the many sights nearby. The owners made sure that everything - booking, payment, arrival, our stay and our departure - was smooth and easy. The kitchen in particular was stocked with all of the tools and many of the ingredients needed to make our stay enjoyable. And of course that bath - absolutely lovely to come home to after a chilly day at sea.

Really enjoyed our stay

Clean and well-maintained apartment, centrally located. Very nice designed interiour. Spacious. We didn't miss anything. Kristinn always answerd immediately and really friendly to any questions. The owners provide usefull insider tips in the apartment as well as via e-mail in advance. We enjoyed it a lot!
