Denna exklusiva villa ligger pÄ ett pittoreskt lÀge mittemot centrum av Akureyri. Det Àr av kÀndisar, men hyrs frÄn andra personer som Ätnjuter platsen och hög finish. Huset byggdes 2006 av islÀndska arkitekten Fanney Hauksdottir. Det har nyligen reviderats och utrustade med kvalitet funktioner som Revox ljudsystem och attraktiva material sÄsom valnöt, skiffer och glas.
Runt huset finns en 16.000 m2 trÀdgÄrd och en sÀkerhetsstÀngslet. Ett larmsystem och kameror installeras för sÀkerheten för gÀster. PÄ begÀran alla möjliga tjÀnster finns tillgÀngliga.

Our favorite stay during our 2 week trip around all of Iceland. Beautiful huge windows with a great view, especially at night. Hot tub was great. Massive snow fall while we were there but it was beautiful and we stayed cozy inside.

This is a comfortable, well designed house in a good location. Folks who want to see a variety of remarkable geological sites and thermal hot springs can find them within a 1.5 hour drive from this location. We had a peaceful panoramic view of Akureyri, the river, and surrounding mountains from the huge windows across the front of the house. The house was perfectly cleaned and provided all the amenities needed for cooking and relaxing. The four of us cooked lots of delicious meals, listened to a variety of music provided by the host, and spent quiet time in the hot tub. The beds are very comfortable and the floors are heated.The property manager was responsive and cooperative. They provided a useful guide for living in the house and special places to see. We would stay there again if we returned.

Magical stay as a midpoint on our ring road trip. We stayed 4 nights to rest up and enjoy some of the fabulous towns in the north. We ventured to the Troll Peninsula, the Diamond Circle and up to Husavik for horseback riding and whale watching. This was the perfect home to come home to. We enjoyed the hot top, the comfortable beds, having laundry facilities, it was all wonderful!

Another Wonderful Stay

We just finished 6 nights at Hrafnabjorg. This was our second stay at this particular home. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, it was fun to have a hot tub to relax in each night and the views of the fjord and Akureyri are spectacular. We were 3 adults & 2 kids. We highly recommend it!

Amazing property!!!!

If you are on the fence about booking this property or think that it is fake or too good to be true you are wrong. It is absolutely fantastic!!! One of the best places we’ve stayed in our travels. The views are epic, especially if you are there in the winter and see the northern lights from the windows or the hot tub. It is quiet, private, great location to Akrueyri, the diamond circle, HĂșsavĂ­k and so many other places in the north. We loved the heated floors, the hot tub, the steam room, the automatic window shades, the tub, just everything about the house is top notch. So, book it now :)

Wir wollten uns als Familie (3 erwachsene Kinder) etwas Besonderes gönnen und gemeinsam die Nordlichter und den IslĂ€ndischen Winter erleben.Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.Nordlichter aus dem Hot Pool beobachten zu können, ist schon einzigartig.Die Ausstattung ist gehoben, das RaumgefĂŒhl / Design hervorragend und die Aussicht wunderschön.Organisatorisch hat alles sehr gut funktioniert. So good we visited again.

This was our second visit to this house; we liked it so much when we visited in summer that we thought we’d see what it was like in winter. Once again, we had a fantastic relaxing stay and made the most of the facilities in the house, the views from the living room and Akureyri. The accommodation is of a very high standard with lots of space and it is kept spotlessly clean. A lot of overnight snow on our final night required a little digging to get the car out and back onto the road. We’re not used to these kinds of conditions, which added to the whole experience so we a third visit is now on our future plans.

Architectural examplar overlooking the city

The pictures are a tease. They don’t do this place justice. This house is excellent. The architecture, the views, the property and the infrastructure all work together for a seamless experience. Checkin was painless, the provided instructions thorough, the location impeccable. One of the best VRBO’s we’ve ever rented (and we’ve rented more than a few, all over the planet). If you’re looking for a rental in Akureyri, this should a place you’re definitely looking at. Just not when I’m going. ;-)

Perfect in every way!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was comfortable and had everything we needed, as well as extra thoughtful touches. The views were absolutely incredible! On our first night the aurora were out and we just turned off all the lights and watched from the living room- it was magical. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer!
