Om boendet

Huset ligger precis vid havet bara några meter över havet och har tillgång till stranden. Höger framför huset finns den stora havsvattenpoolen, 20x10m och 4 meter vid dess djupaste. Poolområdet är utrustat med alla nödvändiga faciliteter, inklusive paraplyer, möbler, dusch, omklädningsrum mm

Det är ett 2 vånings hus på 120 kvm, som byggdes i början av 1900-talet och helt återställd till nuvarande skick. Det är byggt av sten och trä vilket gör den pittoreskt. Det är på en isolerad plats perfekt att koppla av.

I huset finns 3 sovrum. Det första och det andra sovrummet har en dubbelsäng varje. Det tredje sovrummet har två enkelsängar. Det finns även en bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet. Det finns två badrum på övervåningen med badkar och den andra på nedre våningen med dusch. Den lägre nivån har ett vardagsrum och ett fullt utrustat kök (ugn, kylskåp, mikrovågsugn, tvättmaskin) som leder av matsalen.

På övre våningen finns en avskild balkong med havsutsikt. På andra sidan finns en avskild uteplats med utomhusgrill. Det finns också en stor privat utomhus pergola på huset på framsidan med obegränsad havsutsikt och det är idealiskt för middag.

Huset är utrustat med satellit-TV, enkla möbler, sängkläder, handdukar etc redo att användas.
Det finns även tennisbana i trädgården.

Det tar mindre än 15 minuter att gå till det gamla tempelet i Poseidon, i Sounio.
Huset ligger cirka 40 minuter från centrum av Aten, med bil och ca 20 minuter från Aten flygplats.

Perfect Relaxing and Culture

We very enjoyed the stay and could perfectly relax at the beautiful pool. Also the proximity to culture places in walking distance was a big plus. In addition, it was very convenient to go to Athens for sightseeing

Herausragende Unterkunft direkt am Meer

Der Aufenthalt Ende September war herausragend schön. Die Unterkunft besticht nicht nur mit der Lage sondern auch mit einem riesigen Pool (Salzwasser) und auch sonst viel Platz. Die Schlafzimmer und Bäder sind eher klein gehalten aber ausreichend und klimatisierten. Top!!

Traumhafter Riesenpool macht dem Meer Konkurrenz

Ein durchwegs angenehmer Aufenthalt. Sehr gute Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer (in Englisch), sehr herzliche Hauswarte Miranda & Anto (Verständigung mit Händen und Füssen). Aussergewöhnlich sauber. Absolut gigantischer Pool zur Alleinbenutzung – ein Unikum, das dieses Objekt besonders macht! Warnung an Allergiker: Es ist zwar ein Salzwasserpool, weil das Wasser direkt aus dem Meer gepumpt wird, doch es wird zur Desinfektion mit (wenig) Chlor behandelt. Da der Meerzugang zeitweise von sehr vielen Leuten der Nachbaranlage benutzt wird, ist der Pool Gold wert! Das Haus ist älter, aber relativ gut im Schuss. Sehr verschachtelt, aber mit originellen Details. Die Nasszellen sind winzig, aber dafür gibt es eine riesige Aussendusche beim Pool. Einziger Abstrich: Toilettenpapier darf hier nicht ins WC geworfen werden und muss in bereitgestellten Abfalleimerchen entsorgt werden. Daran werde ich mich wohl nie gewöhnen.

Perfect Location

The location is on the ocean with a large pool and wonderful house. The view is spectacular. The trip time to the airport was about 40 minutes, making it a great spot for the initial or final days of vacation. The owner communicates quickly, and the on-site caretaker is always there to help. There is a security gate. We'll be back.

Beautiful location

At the beginning of September we spent 10 days in this very nice cottage built of old raw stones. The house is exactly as described on the website and the pictures shown give a pretty detailed impression of its character. What we liked the most was the huge salt water pool and the large premises with its stunning sea view. There are various possibilities to sit respectively eat outside and still enjoy the shade. The kitchen is well-equipped and we were welcomed with a nice little package consisting of homemade jam, honey and cake among other things. If there was a tiny little disadvantage at all it might be the rather small size of bed- and bathrooms and the separation of the 2 bedrooms on the upper floor by just a built-in cupboard which makes both rooms a bit poorly soundproofed. Although one night we were also hit by the tail of the heavy rainfall that haunted Greece we spent amazing one and a half weeks that could hardly have been better. Thanks very much to Alexandros and his family!

Amazing location

We spent 2 weeks between end of July and August 2023, with our family my spouse and I, my son and his girlfriend and my daughter 16 yo. Before our arrival Alexandros sent all the details we needed. We were welcomed by his keeper. She was very kind even if we couldn’t exchange in English. The house is very clean and comfortable. You can find all you need for cooking. Beds are ok, note that as all this area in Greece you can’t throw the toilet paper in the toilets. The access to the house is easy with the car. You have shadow from the garden with many palm trees. The outside is the best place: you have a very large swimming pool, and a 180•view on the sea. You can access to the sea through a door in the fence and then follow the stairs. The sea is crystal clear with many fishes, and easy to access, note that it’s not a private access but it’s never crowded. We didn’t feel the heat in this environnement. The bedrooms are equipped with air conditioner. You have many sunbeds around the pool. Wonderful holidays in a marvelous place.

Un havre de paix

Premier séjour en Grèce...la canicule ne nous a pas permis de visiter ce beau pays, nous sommes restés la plupart du temps dans la maison et ses 3 terrasses ombragées qui bénéficient d'une petite brise légère et bien agréable. Heureusement qu'il y avait la clim dans les chambres et des moustiquaires aux portes et fenêtres. Cette maison est une perle avec sa vue incroyable sur la mer Egée, sa splendide piscine et son accès facile pour une baignade à la découverte des petits poissons. Merci au propriétaire et au concierge pour leur simplicité, gentillesse et discrétion. Nous souhaitons force et courage pour la reconstruction après ces incendies ravageurs. σε ευχαριστώ για όλα

Paradise!

The home looks exactly as you see in the photos. Excellent location and view. 10 minute drive to Lavrio for nice restaurants and shops. Prices at food stores and restaurants are very reasonable in this area of Greece. The owners were lovely and very easy to communicate with. The mattresses are a bit uncomfortable but we got used to them as our stay went on. Outdoor shower and bathrooms were convenient with four adults staying in the house. Kitchen has all you need for simple breakfasts and lunch. Washing machine was a nice plus. Took advantage of the incredible view and swam in the pool daily- used the steps to walk down to the sea also a few times. Had a great trip!

Amazing villa

We had a fantastic 5 days here. The view is incredible, and the outside space is really amazing. The pool is huge and lovely. Everything was clean and comfortable. There are several restaurants nearby and the supermarket is about a 10 minute drive. Very nice welcome basket of goodies. We would definitely recommend this property.

Fantastic Holiday

Wonderful villa with the great views & pool. A few minutes walk from a good taverna, not cheap but great quality. A short drive or 30 minutes walk to the Poseidon Temple. 10 minutes drive to the town of Laurium, with good supermarkets and a large selection of restaurants. Almost one and a half hour drive into the centre of Athens with busy traffic. One long day was enough for us to see the main sights, so we then stayed local. Great holiday thanks to the wonderful villa and attention from the caretakers.

Traum am Meer

Wir wohnten in einem sehr außergewöhnlichen Haus mit viel Charme, riesigem Pool und brillanter Aussicht. Über eine Treppe gelangt zum Meer mit kleinen Strand, sonst Felsen.

Beautiful Views, private acces to small beach.

The villa was in a lovely location, with beautiful views across the sea, and the pool was the best pool we've ever had at a villa, maintained daily by the caretaker. There was also on site access to a small beach area where we snorkeled. The hosts are friendly and attentive. We stayed for 7 days and really had a lovely reset. Thank you !

Absolutely perfect!

Such an amazing place! We had the best 10 days here, it was the perfect place to relax & recharge. The pool was huge and fantastic, the kids absolutely loved it. The house was just right with everything you could need, air con in the bedrooms was a fab. Location was great, super easy to get to from Athens airport and close to some fantastic restaurants and amenities as well as some brilliant beaches (although really easy access to the sea from the villa itself!) Hosts were fab, really helpful and easy communication. Just the perfect place for the perfect holiday!

Fantastic holiday

The initial sight of the villa and grounds along with the sea view is breathtaking. Marina and Andrios, caretakers, were there to greet us and show us around. Communication with the owner is fantastic. The villa is lovely inside, all bedrooms have air conditioning and a well equipped kitchen. Plus there is a large built in barbecue and pizza oven at the rear, which was fantastic. We spent most of our time outside. There is a large covered patio area plus a first floor balcony, both with tables and gorgeous views of the sea. The pool is huge and has it's own changing rooms and toilets, along with tables and chairs, umbrellas and sunbeds. There is a wonderful sea breeze which helps to keep you cool. When we fancied a change of scene we made our way down some steps to the sea. There is a hard standing area with sunshades and chairs with metal steps to the sea for the local houses to use. We had great fun snorkeling and swimming, plus looking up at our fantastic villa. We bought swim shoes as there are sea urchins. We had an absolutely amazing holiday, best holiday ever, we loved it. So worth the 2 year delay from covid, I can't praise it enough.

Beyond amazing!!!

I could have cried real tears when we had to leave. It was my favorite place we stayed in Greece. I would often stay awake at night looking out the window at the moon glistening over the water. Truly breathtaking! Everything was perfect at the house and we felt well taken care of.

Easy drive, relaxing and fun stay

My husband and I brought our four kids (6-12) for a five day vacation in the midst of our European tour, and it was perfect. My kids’ reaction to the pool (and my husbands and mine to the view) were worth the cost alone. We relaxed and enjoyed ourselves so much and two of my kids only got out of the pool because of a thunderstorm otherwise were in it from sun up to down. I enjoyed snorkeling in the clear Aegean every day. Kind caretakers, excellent communication/rapid replies from the owner, and although the house is somewhat rustic, it is meticulously cared for and spotless. A super easy 45 minute drive from the airport (no super narrow roads and not too many twists and turns). 5 mins from Poseidons temple and a little over an hour into Athens to see the acropolis and other sites. We would return in a heartbeat.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in toller Lage

Wir hatten wunderschöne Ferien mit unseren erwachsenen Kindern in diesem tollen Anwesen. Der Pool hat eine hervorragende Größe zum Relaxen und zur sportlichen Nutzung. Das Haus und die Anlage entsprechen der Beschreibung und waren sauber und gepflegt. Die Aussicht ist legendär. Wir wurden sehr freundlich vom Verwalterehepaar empfangen. Der Besitzer unterstützte uns bei allen Fragen sehr freundlich und war sehr hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank, es war super!

Rustic villa with fabulous outdoors space

The villa is quite rudimentary but this is more than made up for by the outdoor space which provides privacy and lots of room to enjoy the sunshine including a huge salt water swimming pool. The location is also fantastic with uninterrupted views out to sea, a taverna in walking distance and full range of shops etc. just a few minutes drive away. The owners are also super helpful, they responded positively to every query or enquiry both before and during our stay, they really made us feel welcome. Word of warning on the tennis court, it is actually just a fenced area of hard standing with a net, it’s fine for a knock up but there are no lines and the area is much to small for a court so don’t expect to be able to play a game. Overall a good value villa - super place to enjoy the beautiful climate

Super Ferienhaus mit grossartiger Aussicht sowie grossem Pool

Kurzfristig haben wir Anfang Oktober gebucht. Das Wasser im Pool sowie das Meer waren noch herrlich warm (rund 25 Grad), absolut badetauglich und zum Geniessen. Das Haus ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet, wir haben bei weitem nicht alles benötigt. Die Kaffeemaschine (Dolce Gusto) ist perfekt. WLAN funktioniert gut. Das Haus verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer sowie zwei Badezimmer. Genial ist sicher der grosse Salzwasserpool mit der herrlichen Aussicht über das Meer. Man kann auch gleich unterhalb des Hauses im Meer baden, doch einladender sind die Sandstrände in der Nähe. Ein Auto ist empfohlen, da die Strasse über keinen Gehsteig verfügt. Die nächste Taverne (rund 250 m die Strasse hinunter) kann gut zu Fuss erreicht werden, doch ich empfehle eine Taschenlampe mitzunehmen, damit man sich auch im Dunkeln bemerkbar machen kann. Die Lebensmittelgeschäfte sind in Lavrio, einzig eine (gute) Bäckerei ist in der Nähe. Fazit: Super Haus mit genialem Pool für entspannte Ferien, abolut zum Empfehlen.

Wonderful pool

The highlight of this villa is the fantastic swimming pool and outdoor area. Very clean water, pool large enough for proper swimming and playing. Great location on the coast with steps down to the sea. Villa was clean and facilities good. Local taverna was easily walkable, bakery a few minutes drive. We had a really good family holiday.
