We enjoyed this lovely home in a wonderful location and neighborhood. Kitchen stocked with pots, pans, utensils, cutlery, silverware, coffee maker, toaster, and newer appliances. Speed Queen washer and dryer. Lots of towels for showering as well as beach towels, extra linens for the freshly made beds. The pool was clean and enjoyable. There was plenty of room in the house to accommodate our family of 14. Owner was responsive. We appreciated the full-refund policy up to 2 weeks before stay, since we booked early, as well as a discount for early booking.

Fall Golf Trip

12 male golfers over 50 embarked on our annual golf trip to Fairhope, AL. The venue was perfect, amd James was very responsive through the entire process, stsrt to finish.

Plenty of room for our group of sixteen. The house was clean. The pool was wonderful. The neighborhood was quiet. A ten minute drive to Fairhope, even less to grocery stores. Check out wasn’t a hassle.

We came to the area for a family wedding and needed a place with enough room for us, our adult children, their spouses and my folks to stay. We appreciated the spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The bidets were a surprise to us and enjoyed by many in our group. The kitchen was adequate for us to cook and eat in. My only critique of the kitchen was that they only had the cheap scratched teflon cookware. We improvised and all in our group were fed nutritious meals. Publix is only minutes away and is familiar to us so that was a plus. The pool was a nice touch albeit the water was a bit chilly as it was still early spring. We still made a splash or two while grilling burgers. We enjoyed walking around the flat neighborhood. The lake was serene and lovely as we sat under the tree while the baby napped in the stroller. The wedding was only minutes away in Loxley and easy enough to get to. We enjoyed visiting with family in the Mobile Bay Area. Thank you for providing a lovely home for us to enjoy a special weekend with our extended family. Give out of five stars.

A Unique and Fun Experience

We had an amazing stay at the Daphne property. The home was much more spacious than the pictures gave credit for. There was a huge back yard. We had 17 family members and there was plenty of beds and sleeping areas to accomodate this. The home had all the ammenities we could ask for. The neighborhood was beautiful and the pond right across the street was easy access and a lot of fun for the whole family. We definitely will be coming back to this hidden gem. The drive to the beach was the only issue we had. To get to a good public beach it was about an hour drive. There was a closer one that was on the bay and that was about 20 minutes away. Plenty of shade and privacy for our little dog that we brought with us. The host always responded quickly to any questions I had. The internet was great at the home and the kids had a lot of fun playing video games and using the pool table. The pool outside was also nice and cool to deter the sweltering heat of July temps. Overall I give this a five star review and definitely will be coming back next summer.

Thanks for the five-star review! We work hard to provide a fun place for family and friend memories. If you take the "country route" to the beach on Hwy 181, it can cut the drive time to 40 min. We enjoy have close access to the beach but not in the press of tourist when we are not at the beach!
