This place is a great location to access Gruene shop’s & restaurant! It is super cute with nice furniture, comfy beds, and nice decor. We enjoyed the deck that looks out at grass and trees (and not just another condo). We had 5 adults and we were very comfortable. The kitchen has nice appliances and pans for cooking. It was easy access using a door code. It was pretty quiet (but the air conditioner compressors are right outside one bedroom window so you can hear it kick on & off at night). We did not have any noise from the guests above so being on the first floor was no problem. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Location!

Beautiful property located within walking distance to down town Gruene. This property is located directly across from Rockin R, which is perfect for the folks that are looking to float the river. We enjoyed our stay here, and wouldn’t definitely do it again!

The property was pristine!! Every single essential needed was there!! Bedrooms, bathrooms, TVs, patio were exceptional. We are wine drinkers!! Therefore, to use their beautiful glassware and dinnerware, pots and pans was great!! Home away from home!!

Texas state parents weekend

The property was meticulous. There was plenty of room for six adults. The beds were very comfortable. The linens were luxurious. The location was convenient to Gruene and San Marcos. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back.,

Perfect for a girls weekend getaway. Close to downtown. Could easily walk, but a River Shuttle made it even better on a chilly night.

Our family loved our stay at the Gruene Lily Pad! Amberly was very quick to respond and answer any questions. You can tell she put a lot of thought into accommodating guest. I really enjoyed all the little touches like the motion sensor plug in lights, soft close cabinets, fully equipped kitchen, remote control fans. You can’t beat the location, very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

50th birthday celebration!

The house and amenities were even better than we expected. The house was beautiful and every little detail was perfect! We are already talking about the next trip and we will definitely stay here again! Coffee and wine by the stream and the wildlife coming to visit were icing on the cake. Thank you for a perfect getaway!

Absolutely beautiful, beyond expectations. The unit looked brand new! Very comfortable, amazing kitchen, porch out overlooking the lawns by the river. Go down the steps off the patio and be at the river in moments! You can smell the bbq from Gruene it is so close!!! Parking is phenomenal, even wide disabled spots. I cannot say enough about this property- we would be hard pressed to stay anywhere else in the future, we will be back!

Close to everything.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is within walking distance to Gruene Hall and several other great spots—just be aware there’s a small hill to walk up, which wasn’t an issue for us. The place was clean, spacious, and easily large enough to accommodate a family or group of friends. It ended up being just the two of us, but it would definitely work well for more. The only minor inconvenience was the hot water, which took a few minutes to warm up, but once it did, everything worked fine. Overall, we’d definitely recommend this place and would stay again!

Perfect Weekend Family Getaway

This was the perfect place to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday! The location was perfect and conveniently located within walking distance to Gruene and Rockin' R. Easy, short drive to downtown New Braunfels and Schlitterbahn. The home was very clean, comfy and nicely furnished. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Everything is new which was nice! The last time we stayed in New Braunfels, we could not sleep because there were parties all around us through the night. This was the opposite... very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting out back in the evening with a glass of wine watching the lightening bugs. Amberly was very welcoming, accommodating and responsive. We hope to be back!

The location of the property to downtown Gruene and Gruene Hall is definitely one of the reasons to stay at this property!! Truly walkable. It's also a very short walk to Rockin R if you're interested in floating the river. Hopefully the City of Gruene will improve the walking paths along Gruene Road soon.
