Möt Prince Royal! Plats och lyx är vad vi tänker på när vi ser denna underbara husbåt, som ligger på den berömda Prinsengracht, nära Anne Frank-huset. Det är en elegant och bekväm flytande bostad i centrum av Jordaan-området. Dekorerad med smak och uppmärksamhet av en professionell interiörarkitekt. Prince Royal är platsen för en unik nautisk upplevelse i centrala Amsterdam. Du har direkt utsikt över Prinsengracht och landmärket Westerchurch. Boområdet är ljust och lysande, rymligt, bekvämt och ljust. Det karakteristiska trägolvet i kombination med designmöbler ger detta område en lyxig egen identitet. Det finns 2 karakteristiska sovrum och 2 badrum på fartygets baksida och framsida. Sovrummen är lite lägre men det är en del av historien och charmen i denna båt. Båda sovrummen har två stora dubbelsängar med två separata madrasser bredvid varandra (160 cm och 180 cm X 200 cm), båda med en platt-TV. Romantisk och bekväm!

Båda badrummen har en handdukstrålare och under golvvärme. De ljusa och lysande badrummen erbjuder både ett modernt handfat och en dusch. Sängkläder och handdukar tillhandahålls.

Utsidan däck

På utsidan av detta tidigare godsfartyg finns en trevlig terrass med en unik utsikt längs kanalen. Du hittar en härlig stor terrass med stolar, kuddar och växter. Eftersom det är vinter vi inte kan göra bilder ännu, måste vi vänta till våren. Vita svanar kommer att passera tillsammans med kanalbåtarna. På andra sidan kanalen ser du Anne Frank-huset och det berömda Westerchurch. En video har gjorts från omgivningarna förra året: Du befinner dig mitt i det historiska Amsterdam men på grund av vattnet och de imponerande historiska kanalhusen runt är atmosfären avslappnad och lugn.

Styrhuset erbjuder dig dock den bästa och mest exklusiva möjligheten att njuta av den spektakulära omgivningen i denna husbåt. Styrhuset kan nås från insidan och är högre än resten av båten. I detta före detta kaptenområde är en lyxig plats att sitta och njuta av till exempel ett glas gratis vin från baren med vinkylskåp!

A fine perch

One of my all-time favorite locations to simply sit and watch citizens from all about the world converge in happiness and common purpose - and all from the uniquecomfort of your own house (boat). Couldn't recommend more.mix it up a little bit more when they travel

Fantastic Experience on the Princess

This was the highlight of our trip so far around the UK and Europe. The house boat was amazing, well equipped, walkable to everything, had comfortable beds, great kitchen and bathrooms, and near fabulous code! Perfect start did our family of four.

Magnificent Prinsengracht gem

The Prince Royal is a fabulous property that combines the privacy of a very old house boat with the most modern interior details, provisions and amenities. The location is immediately close to everything and Chamelli aims to please as a warm host!

Amsterdam boathouse magic

The boathouse is very comfortable, clean and spacious. The bedrooms have very low ceilings so if you are tall, this may be an issue for you. The location of the boathouse is fantastic and we enjoyed afternoons sitting on the deck and watching the world go by.

Awesome location and facility!

We loved this stay! Such a fun and vibrant location! The houseboat was immaculate and had everything we needed. The “Captain’s Nest” was an unexpected bonus and we used it daily. So fun to watch the crowds waiting for their boat tours and the other various boats go by. Very comfortable beds, too.

Perfect Amsterdam Vacation Stay

The boat is perfectly located in the Jordaan with both indoor and outdoor seating areas to enjoy the view along the canal. The boat was clean and had everything we needed. The beds and sitting area were very comfortable. The hosts were very communicative leading up to the stay and check in was a breeze. Our family of four couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our time in Amsterdam. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

Perfect place to meet up with friends

We stayed on board the Prince Royal with friends. We all enjoyed separate space (2 separate bedroom/bathroom spaces) but a large living room and kitchen to share some good times. Although our weather was a little cooler than we had planned, we also enjoyed the deck area.

Great location

The property was exactly as advertised. There were ladders and low ceilings but nothing to impact our stay. We were 3 sisters over 60 and had no problems. The location was great. The beds were comfortable. The property was clean and it was very quiet at night. I would definitely stay here again. The top room was our favorite place to hang out.

We had an amazing time, the boat was clean, decorated with great attention to detail and comfort. The boat is very spacious in a great location but still quiet. The hosts were friendly and responded to our requests very quickly as well as gave great suggestions for restaurants. Highly recommended!

Beautiful boat in a fabulous location

Thoroughly loved staying on this immaculate canal boat. It’s in a beautiful location which is close walking distance to grocery stores & attractions. Stayed with my husband & 2 adult children & we all really enjoyed our stay here. Cosy comfortable beds with a large warm living area & kitchen. All beautifully decorated & really clean. Great to have the 2 bathrooms too. Host was great & easy to communicate with.

Spectacular houseboat in excellent location

The prince royal was excellent- it is stunningly decorated, has excellent levels of cleanliness and is in the heart of Amsterdam and within walking distance of all the places you would want to visit. The host of the boat was very accommodating, friendly and was exceptionally helpful. The boat is peaceful and offers great views of the city. We slept brilliantly and found the boat comfortable for our stay. We have booked again for next year and can’t wait to return.

Great Experience!

Chamelli was an excellent host. She helped us prior to our visit and met us at the boat at the agreed upon time to review everything with us. She provided a nice bottle of wine for our stay. The accommodations were exactly the experience we were looking for. 2 separate suites for our family. You do get to see alot of canal traffic during the day, but it is quiet in the evening. The main kitchen/sitting area was comfortable for us to congregate. I had stayed in a canal house on a previous experience so this was different and very enjoyable. Won’t find many locations on the canal as good!

Best location, and on a boat!

Rachell was a great hostess. Met us at the boat early and made us feel quite at home. The boat is beautifully appointed, and we lacked for very little. It is almost directly across from the Anne Frank house (get your tickets before you arrive!), and we had a great time watching the tour boats and bicycles go by. The weather was "adventurous". Snow our first day, hail our second day, thunderstorm our 3rd night + sideways wind. But still a wonderful time and a beautiful city. The beds were super comfy (especially in the forward cabin). We accidentally slept in a couple of times, the beds were so cozy. Wish we could have used the captain's room to hang out a bit more, but the cold weather was a bit too much for that space. Highly recommend this place. It was walkable to almost everything, and in a gorgeous neighborhood with lots of restaurant and pub options, with a grocery store about a 5-7 min walk away. Ceilings in the rooms are low - so mind your head! We eventually got used to it, and it wasn't much of a bother. If we find our way back to Amsterdam, we would definitely look into booking here again.

The boat was fab and the location was excellent

The living area and the beds were great and comfortable however beds were only suited for 2 couples really They were originally described as queen beds which could configured separately or as one bed - in fact they were two single beds in a frame sitting together together - space between them was not possible. More clarity over this would have been very helpful in our decision making as three single ladies.

Great houseboat experience

Our family of 4 had a lovely time on the houseboat which is very well equipped and in a lovely location with lots of small cafes, restaurants etc nearby and opposite Anne Franks house. We spent 4 days here enjoying the views and walked to everything we wanted to see in Amsterdam. The beds were super cosy and warm and the houseboat was well heated which was essential given it was very cold outside when we were there. The ceiling height in the main bedroom is low (you can’t stand upright in the room) but even my 6foot tall husband managed fine- the boat is surprisingly large inside. Sitting in the “turret” watching the world go by with a coffee/wine was a highlight !

I wish we were shown the entryway as it made loading and unloading of luggage difficult. We did not like that the heat was turned to 20 when the boat keeper was there. We were from a warmer climate and it was difficult to keep warm enough until we put it to 22. Also there was a leak in the smaller bedroom. It has been there for a while as the comforter had stained in the spot.

Best location in Amsterdam

This houseboat experience was phenomenal. It was very clean and well kept. The bathrooms were modern. The floor plan is excellent. It is well lit and has plenty of plug ins. It is the best location in the heart of the canal ring to see the sights and get around. The Ann Frank house is directly across the canal from the boat and we sat on the deck enjoying the view and watching the people enjoying themselves on shore and in the canal boats that passed by. I sat in the captain’s room upstairs enjoying peace and quiet. The wi-fi worked seamlessly. The tv connected to most channels and we especially enjoyed Netflix and CNN. However, there were drawbacks you need to be aware of. You cannot stand in one of the two bedrooms so you have to bend over the time you are not in the bed. Also, access to the boat is via a narrow stairway of about 8 steps going down from street level to the living area. If you can get past these two drawbacks, the rest of the experience is fabulous.

Fellow traveler's two scents

The boat is amazing and styled impeccably, a clean canvas allowing voyagers the opportunity to fill their experiences with the colors of the city. Each room is special, providing exactly what you need. The captain's room where you can close the world off or let the world in but you can always hear and see the blur and heart of the city around you. The front deck allows you to literally greet the world as people from allover the little blue marble float by for a minute or two. Each living their own Adventure. Inside, you physically enter backwards leaving the stress at the door. The heart of the ship is open and inviting, a blank canvas for you to decorate with all the things the city and life have to offer. From bottles of wine to greasy takeaway boxes the place is what you make it. I recommend taking photos at the beginning but also take a few during the stay. A cheese board, good bread and a peach can be the most important still life you'll ever see and will mean the world when you look back at the image and remember the time, the people and most importantly the bread! Each bedroom is a cocoon, the pillow fort from your childhood that you sometimes forget but bang your head just once and you'll literally feel like a little kid again crawling around, and hopefully over, your fellow travelers. I left an Adventure Starter Pack consisting of an old back pack, umbrella, and a maroon corduroy blazer and vest to help start your story off right. Safe travels, Brewster
