Great stay

Rona's property was beautiful and couldn't have been in a better location, right down the road from Arashi, and across the street from some of the best snorkeling on the island. Despite being on a busy road, the location is quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed meeting her two friendly dogs and chatting with Rona (she has an interesting background, and a wealth of knowledge about Aruba, as a long-time resident). The space was as-described in the listing, and suitable for our needs, with a kitchenette and nice outdoor table and lounge space by the pool. All-in-all one of the better stays of many on Aruba. If you're looking for a high-end hotel experience, this is not for you, but if you appreciate local, eclectic charm, this is it. We look forward to returning.

Must Love Dogs!

Wow, first of all Rona is the best! She knows the entire Island and can tell you anything or help you get anything. The property is an art show! So many beautiful things to look at and things that make you chuckle. The dogs are the best part! They greet you in the morning and wait for a pat on the head then off they go to do their chores! I made my breakfast and lunch in my villa and then sometimes went out to dinner and sometimes just cooked on the grill. The pool is very refreshing and great after a day at the beach. If you are a walker/runner it is 1.65 miles to the lighthouse which I walked there every morning. You will need a car to get to anything downtown but the cost is cheap for car rental here. So much more I could say but one thing for sure I will be back and staying here! Thank you Rona for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay at this quiet house. Very relaxed and comfortable. There are dogs that we loved. They are a bunch of goofballs and very playful. We highly recommend here. Lee and Wendy.

Die Angaben in der Beschreibung sind nicht korrekt. Die Wohnflaeche hat max. 35 qm statt den angegebenen 70 qm. Es werden insgesamt 3 unterschiedliche Wohneinheiten vermietet, wobei die Zuordnung nicht eindeutig ersichtlich ist.

Peace & Tranquility

If you enjoy generic hotel rooms that do not give you a test of the local culture and flavor, this place is NOT for you. Rona's property is beautiful, comfortable, calming and tranquil. We enjoyed breakfast every morning by the pool in the comfort of a very eclectic garden setting (with lovely canine guests). The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Was every detail of the room perfect? No but this only added to the charm. I would definitely recommend to travelers who aren't into the hotel crowds.

Guests should know ahead that there are dogs that live on the property. Once we met them we enjoyed

Beautiful flowers and loved the birds that visited. No access to a cooktop to fix eggs was a bummer. We're able to get ice from owners refrigerator when kitchen door was open. Pool was wonderful. Quite private and able to walk to beaches and bus stop if you don't rent a car. Cab from airport $30 for 2 adults

Beautiful!

Beautiful describes the property and the owner. Rona is very hospitable as she wants to ensure you feel comfortable and relaxed. The surroundings are inviting and serene; I think I counted over 200 clay pots full of succulants and flowers inviting you to sit and have a drink. Our unit was fully stocked, quiet and clean and the bbq was put to use a few times throughout the week. The local beaches are a few steps away inviting you for a morning walk, relaxing lunch or to watch the sunset. I think it is the best area to stay on the island-close to shopping, restaurants, yet quiet and neighbourly.

Fantastic Location and Host!!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at this location after the recommendation of a fellow diver on a previous trip to Aruba. Their recommendation was priceless as we enjoyed the peace and serenity this property provides. Rona went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, and the trip had the feeling of staying with your non imposing family. The property is only a 3-5 minute drive from the High Rise resort beaches where most of the beach activities originate so the location is great, especially for the price! Soap was provided in the bathroom, but I'm not sure about shampoo as we brought our own I'd recommend doing the same thing. We will stay here again the next time we have the opportunity to visit Aruba, and I'm not sure how I can provide a higher recommendation than that!!
